They called to offer me a gift certificate, not a refund.In addition, and more important, I finally received a replacement extinguisher from them yesterday and the gauge is
already on emptyAnd, I discovered that another Kidde fire extinguisher I have in the house also says empty, although it is years away from the expiration of the warranty and was not included in the recall.I informed the contact at the company of this (the one who had asked me for the purchase receipt), and he called today to offer me a gift certificate and said they will send out another extinguisher. This is COMPLETELY UNSATISFACTORYI do not want a Kidde fire extinguisher; they are very clearly not reliableI want a refund for the two malfunctioning extinguishers I had to replaceI have now emailed them a receipt for the second extinguisher I purchased.I also feel very strongly at this point that this company should be investigatedI purchased an extinguisher, it was recalled two years later; it was replaced with an extinguisher that was recalled one year later; and and now has been replaced with an extinguisher which arrived empty

I spoke with *** this morning and processed another order to send replacements

I HAVE SPOKEN TO CONSUSMERHE WILL RECEIVE HIS NEW UNIT IN 10-BUSINESS DAYS

I sent a request for the purchase receiptOnce this is received I will see if we can honor the request for a refund

CALLED CONSUMER ON 2/LEFT MESSAGE THAT HIS ORDER IS BEING PLACED TODAY AND IT WILL TAKE 10-BUSINESS DAYS TO SHIPWILL EMAIL ALSO

I spoke with Mr*** and explained he would receive the replacement unit and return instructions within the next business days

The consumer has been contacted and the requested replacements will be shipped within business days

WE FINALLY GOT MS *** THE CORRECT UNITS AND SHE DID CONFIRM BACK SHE HAD RECIEVED THE CORRECT ONES

I am rejecting this response because:
I have been waiting for two months and now they tell me another two weeks! I told them they need to expedite the replacement extinguishers immediately
and call with a tracking numberI will wait another two weeks and then there will be another excusePlease contact them again to expedite the extinguisher shipment

We have entered a request to have replacements sent to ***He has received the email confirmation and will have the new units within 10-business daysHe also has my direct contact should he have additional questions

A request was sent to our accounts payable department to refund the requested amountThis process can take weeks to fully process and generate a check

I spoke with Holly today, we are going process and send a comparable unit to replace the recalled extinguisher

I will reach out to consumer today and get replacements shipped out ASAP

I am rejecting this response because: I have not yet actually received my replacement fire extinguisherI believe that the Kidde rep has made good-faith efforts to see that I receive one, but I
am not willing to close this case until I have my replacement unit in handThere have been too many times in this process where Kidde or their third-party representatives have said that they were going to do something but haven't
