On order [redacted] the order total was $36.99 however the $20 Kohl's Cash that was earned from order [redacted] was used with this order and the remaining $16.99 was charged to...

her credit card. Per our Kohl's Cash policy, when you return merchandise from a purchase that earned Kohl’s Cash, the Kohl’s Cash value will decrease. If you have already used your Kohl’s Cash coupon, the amount of the Kohl’s Cash will be deducted from your return amount. And if you are making a return or price adjustment on an item you bought with Kohl's Cash®, the value of the Kohl's Cash® coupon will be returned as a Kohl's Merchandise Credit. The returns were processed correctly.

We apologize for the inconvenience our customer experienced with their rebate. We will be more than happy to research our customer's inquiry with our rebate department. Once a response is received, we will be happy to address it for our customer.

We have researched our customer's concern and in order for the customer to get the full refund amount, she would need to return the merchandise from Order [redacted]. The $75.00 Kohl's Cash from the original tender was issued for the television purchase. The customer spent the $75.00 Kohl's Cash. We...

are not manually issuing a $75.00 credit unless it the merchandise is returned. The customer can then attach receipt to her complaint so we can process credit.

Our records indicate we received her complaint through a different channel and have addressed her concerns.

I am looking at the Kohl's gift card...

now and it does not state that a gift card is unable to be tendered with another gift card. I am also looking at the Lowe's gift card I purchased from Kohl's and it as well does not state that a gift card is unable to be tendered with another gift card. Again, this is something I feel that the cashier should have explained to me when she rung up my purchases. Had she explained this to me or had this policy been posted where the gift cards are located in the store then this situation could have been avoided.
I will no longer shop at Kohl's.

Nowhere in their response did Kohls bother to address any of my concerns regarding the fact of whether or not a vendor would lose money on knowingly giving customers a lager carat than advertised; knowingly advertising the wrong carat; failure to examine the original set of earrings; and failure to look beyond the fact that an exchange was given. Once again I am beyond words to describe how far off the mark Kohls customer service has been with this episode.

Our customer
placed order 3915930877 on
01/02/2016. This order was tendered using $16.68 on her Visa card and $70.55 in
Gift Cards. We processed returns for the items she did not receive on
01/23/2015 and 02/04/2015. The returns were processed back onto her original forms of
tender; with...

$13.70 being processed onto her Visa as well as an issuance two Kohl’s
Merchandise Credits that were mailed to our customer for $21.55 and $6.31. If
our customer did not receive the merchandise credits please reply to the
complaint and we will reissue new credits.  We apologize for any confusion our customer
had with her refund.

We regret the customer has not received their anticipated Kohls.com refund. At this time we advise the customer to reply with the Kohls.com order number, as well as returned SKUs information for further research. We apologize for any inconvenience.
