[redacted] The response I received from Kohl's did not contain a resolution but simply asked if I knew the promo code I wanted applied.  I no longer remember the promo code but the discount percent was 20% and $10 off an order of $50 or more.  My order met that criteria.  I am only sorry that this matter was not addressed on the day I placed the order although I made several attempts to do so.  There were so many opportunities for things to have ended well.

We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration our customer experienced regarding their most recent Kohls.com order.  We have confirmed that the gift was debited the balance of $100.00 and have applied the of $100.00 to our customers Kohl's Charge ending in 2668.

Our records show a return for Kohls.com order #[redacted] was processed on 11/11/15, back to the customer's VISA ending in [redacted]. In the event that a customer would need to complete an even exchange (same item and price, different size or color) for an item, this can be done with a receipt at...

any register. An even exchange must be exactly even (based on the original or clearance marked price tag) in order for an exchange to be processed. If the items are not an exact even exchange, a return will be processed. When a receipt is not available a refund in the form of a Kohl's Merchandise Credit will be issued for the items’ return value. If the customer needs assistance with an even exchange, we advise they speak with a Store Manager directly.

While in most cases out of stocks are reflected prior to the check out process at Kohls.com, there are situations when an out of stock may not be evident until the order picking process. This can be attributed to high order volume, damages, etc. We regret to hear the customer's desired merchandise...

is out of stock. We are unable to accommodate the customer's request to honor the Black Friday price. Additionally, the charges on the customer's charge card were authorizations that went to their charge card company when they hit "Place Order"; a customer's funds will be held for each attempted Kohls.com order, until we are able to systematically verify the order status. The customer's credit card company holds these funds; however, these authorizations will drop automatically within several business days. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We advise the customer to have the accountholder contact us regarding her account as we are unable to release account information or make account adjustments as he is not listed on the account. The Collections Department can be reached at ###-###-####.

We have processed a refund in the amount $144.43 for Order 6981681487. This will be applied to our customers Kohl's Charge ending in 2761. Please advise our customer to allow 3-5 business days for this to reflect.

A refund was processed prior to receiving the complaint and also indicated in the desired settlement section. We are unable to send items without and order placed with a form of tender attached as a return was already processed. If the customer would like to reorder the items, as offered by our previous Customer Service agents, we will honor the sale price and any rewards/discounts they had at the time of the prior order placement.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Kohls is making me process a refund so I cannot use the coupons on the table as well as the sale price I was able to at the time of purchase. Not only did I get a damaged product, I am unable to get the same product for the same price I would've had it not been damaged. I feel like [redacted] due to them not honoring the initial price I paid.As for scheduling a pick up from UPS, I told Kohls this is my new residence; I do not feel comfortable leaving the dining set outside of my house. I explained what hours I would be home, and they failed to take that into consideration. I refuse to leave an expensive item outside of my new house when I am not familiar with the area, and do not have a private drive way. Kohls refused to understand this and even hung up the phone on me when I tried to explain this. I attached written proof to show that I explained this situation to Kohls, and initially was told that I could be home when this pick up happened. Also a picture of the damaged table top is included.

I am rejecting Kohl's response due to their being no language about the sales price and/or discounts not qualifying for the $50 advertised pre-paid Visa. Furthermore, the register printed out the rebate which demonstrates I am correct on this matter as it was programmed in their system to generate once the customer purchased the Samsonite luggage at the price above their offer regardless of final coupons and discounts. The ad influenced my decision to up my budget to buy the more expensive luggage with the offer of getting $50 back in a pre-paid Visa card or otherwise I would not have made such a large purchase. I am willing to accept a Kohl's coupon equal to $50 as a possible solution.

Our coupons advise all customers to see a store associate for additional details. Our store representatives are able to provide details on our exclusions.
