Unfortunately, the cause of loss was one that was excluded from coverage

I booked a flight to Venice, Italy while being on Active Military orders deployed to KuwaitI was given my date to leave KuwaitWhen Baltimore received feet of snow it canceled my flight to return to America on Jan An agent told me to upload my orders to start the claim process My claim was denied stating that I should have foreseen any issues to not being able to make my flightI am not a weather forecaster and the military books my flight I spoke to another agent today and will start the appeals processIf this matter is not resolved in a full refund, I will never do business with this company I cannot believe that this company will not help out a member of the Armed Forces

VERY UNHAPPY TRAVELER! INSURANCE FROM ALLIANZ IS USELESS!
I purchased a policy to protect my prepaid expenses on a trip over the Christmas holidays Traveling in the winter can be especially dicey from/to ***, so I wanted to be sure I was coveredI had an delay departing ***, so I lost my first night's lodging prepaid expense due to *** diverting the inbound aircraft cause a missed connection Therefore I had to be rescheduled the next afternoonI just learned that my claim under the travel delay portion of the policy was denied because prepaid expenses (like lodging) are not covered by the policy I thought that was the very reason to buy travel insurance, to avoid loss of money when you're delayed and refunds by the lodging provider are not givenThey were very snotty with me when I called to inquire as to the reason for the denied benefit I was lectured about reading my policy in advance which I did and did again! I cannot see anywhere where prepaid expenses are not covered under travel delayNEVER AGAIN! The policy was useless to me money wasted!

At the time of my last ticket purchase with ***, I didn't noticed that they automatically enroll you with insuranceOnce I found out about the insurance, I called to cancel the chargeThey told me that I should see a refund in a day or I did see a refund but they ended up charging me twiceI had to call a second time for them to remove my other chargeAn hour after calling them, my credit card was locked due to fraudulent charges suspectedI only used this card for buying tickets online and it was my first purchase in monthsLuckily the credit card company was able to block those charges and I had them also block this company from ever charging my card again

This company is very insensitive to dealing with clients undergoing emergency situations in their livesThey do not follow through with information that they say they willWhen you call to get in contact with them, you are given the runaround that doesn't even address your concerns/questionsThey have no problem taking your money for the travel insurance but then have lots of issues when you have to use the insurance during emergenciesTheir employees have ZERO customer service skills and are not able to help outI've called times and have been given this run around with different customer services repsI was told today that "This is a process and it needs time to take effect."

Insurance from Allianz is a total waste of moneyThe advertised coverage is quite a contrast to what the vague policy actually covers or what Allianz interprets as coverageI don't understand why their Revdex.com rating is so high given all of the negative comments and unfavorable resolutionsIn addition to wasted money, I spent a lot of time submitting a well documented claimAn appeal was also denied and the only option was to spend another $to submit the claim for arbitrationA terrible experienceDon't make the same mistake
