Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: their position is that I was not able to use the voucher becauseI was a repeat customer which is untrue I WAS A NEW CUSTOMER for this Merchantthe issue is that the merchant would never pick up the phone or return my voicemails I left messages now with merchant over a period of about one monthsee yet just another issue with Living Social not paying attention and providing accurate information.
Living Social provided a service that they are not able to provideThis is like ordering a specific mountain bike from the manufacturer, paying for it and waiting for deliverybut then they stop making that bike and can't deliver ----okay so tell me that they tell me my only option is that they will send me child's tricycle insteadThis has nothing to do with reading the fine print---this is an issue of NON-CONFORMANCEIt is very easy---they sold a service that they cannot deliver on Has nothing to do with refund policy nor fine printif you sell something and cannot delivery and refuse to refund the money it is FRAUDThere should be criminal charges filed against this company if this is the way they do businesswhat is----you should understand my frustration with the company just by it's last responsethey aren't even addressing the issue Repeat----I am NOT a repeat customer for this merchant they will just not return calls.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
LiveingSocial's offer of "deal bucks" is worthless to me as I have no intention of doing business with LivingSocial againI do not wish to purchase yet another voucher with these "deal bucks" that will likely be unredeemable when yet another business that uses LivingSocial to promote their wares goes out of businessAdditionally, at the time of purchase of the original voucher, I do not believe this non-refundable policy was in placeThe original terms of the purchase should be honoredI simply want the amount of the original purchase refunded to my credit card - no more and no less

Their payment processing systems is nothing short of a scam and totally out of complianceIt's highly illegal for Livingsocial to charge customer credit cards for purchases without their consent or confirmationI went to the site to check out a deal and clicked the "buy now" option as there is no other option to see the deal price besides that buttonScam like and tricky user interface to confuse clients to automatically purchase a deal vs the client thinking they would be able to view final details before deciding to make a purchaseUpon clicking through I was not taken to another page to confirm the value or purchase - it just automatically processed the payment! To make matters worse - they charged me the full deal price and not was was flash price advertised (illegal as well)There was no landing page to confirm details or credit card to be used - just went straight to processing the payment - what thieves!
I get that the company has gone downhill and hurting for cash but to automatically charge clients for purchases they did not authorize or consent to is ILLEGALAs well as advertising flash sales -"limited time" buy now pricing but instead charge you full priceHorrible company - I'm surprised they are still in business

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Dear ***
I talked to a manager on the same day I received the email solicitationAt that point, the offer is good and validThe manager acknowledged that there was an error madeShe re read the email word for word and if I may kindly ask you to do the same thing, the email stated up to nights for It is crystal clearThe manager I spoke with agreed it was an error that was not proofed by Living Social and the future emails were pulled out effective immediate
It is on this merit that I kindly ask you to honor the deal otherwise it is clearly advertising.
Errors do happen but there has to be accountsbilityWhen I go to a supermarket and an item is priced incorrectly, the supermarket honors the price and make a correction to pull the remaining items and put the correct price on the item that was priced wrong
Thank you

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I am not asking for a full refund of the vouchers that I have redeemedFrom the very beginning I have been requesting a refund for the additional cost I had to incur as a result of registering for the two classes I had registered forThe vouchers clearly state it would cover the entire cost for one Italian cooking class with a glass of wineI purchased TWO vouchers and am expecting it to cover the entire cost of the TWO Italian cooking classes I had signed up for Like I said before, I have the receipt that clearly states in black and white, in plain English that the two vouchers I purchased from living social did not cover the entire cost of the TWO classes I registered for through their online site As a result, I had to pay additional charges to complete the registration process of the TWO classesTo this day I have still yet to receive a full refund of the additional charges I had to pay However, living social did provide $back in "deal bucks," but it requires me to put money back or spend more into their company And quite honestly, I do not intend on supporting a business that doesn't support their customersI just want a full refund of the additional charges I had to pay upon the registration of the classes.
Also, I have contacted Living Social two times previously to resolve this matter, but Living social refused to provide the refund of the additional charges I had to incur Both times I received the response Needless to say, I have been unsuccessful coming to an agreement with living social in resolving this matterI am not interested in going through another conversation with Living social that will lead to no results This is the reason I have contacted the Revdex.com for their help in this matter Even then, living social is refusing to provide the refund I am asking for through the emails via the Revdex.com This obviously shows the character of this company and in my case it is extremely disappointing and discouraging.
