Didn't they represent them and promote them on their website? YupDidn't they take my moneyYupI asked if there was someone else I could talk to at Living SocialNopeNice

I rarely use Living Social, but I saw that Living Social was having a 15% off promotion, so I was playing around on their websiteI found a service I was interested in, and wanted to see the new price was (with the 15% discount) in my cartI added the service to my cart, and the screen said "log in to continue"I logged in, thinking I would be able to review my order before purchasing, as basically every other website allows you to doWrongIt bought me the service without warning meSince my credit card had expired, it was labeled as a pending purchase, so I couldn't request a refund onlineIt also would not let me cancel the orderLiterally my only option was to update my credit card and finish the purchaseLong story short, I had no option but to call Living SocialWhen I fist called, they said my approxwait time was minutes, minutes later, I'm still on hold (as we speak)In short, they tricked me into buying something, gave me no option but to call in to cancel the purchase, and made me wait on hold all morning to resolve itBasically, I've lost time, money, and cell phone minutes because of their horrible customer service and business practices

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have responded to one of the LivingSocial customer service supervisors directlyHere is my message below in fullThank you for taking the time to respond to me and look into this matter fullyFirst, I appreciate the gesture of the $LivingSocial bucks and the gesture, out of the owner's own pockets, for the one night's stay at the [redacted] innHowever, these are not equivalent to the worth of the deal ($300) which I purchased from you and was made null and void simply because my wife is a breastfeeding mother on MOTHER's DAYClearly both [redacted] and LivingSocial failed to identify the inn as having a strict no child/baby policy which resulted in us being turned away at the very last minute and only after driving hundreds of miles [redacted] did their best to make up for this error but your company has given me nothing but grief until the matter was handed over to youTherefore, on principle and returning to my original argument, I reject the $in deal bucks and demand a full refund of $followed by a termination of my membership from LivingSocialIn return, I will not share this negative experience on any company review sites and will withdraw my complaint with the Revdex.com Regards, [redacted] Also, I would add their return policy is not applicable in this case because of the nature of the deal and having to reserve a room at the inn two or more months in advanceThe day policy makes no sense since [redacted] accepted my reservation in early March and then cancelled the deal on my family because of my nursing daughter on Mother's Day, May without specifying any such no child policy which would have caused me to NOT buy the deal in the first place and thus avoid all this grief and harassment

I purchased a coupon from LivingSocial and when I tried to redeem it, found out that the company would not ship to Hawai'i, AFTER they had accepted my order and redeemed the couponI tried to get a refund from Living Social on line and because The wine company had redeemed it, I could NOT request a refund online I contacted my cc company and they gave me a phone number to contact (LivingSocial does NOT list a telephone number online) The number I received from my cc company was NOT a working number I finally found a number online to contact LivingSocial The customer service person said he could give me a Living Social credit, but could NOT credit my cc I asked for a supervisorThe customer service customer abused me for OVER ONE HOUR before I was finally connected to a supervisor, who said she would credit my cc account and she gave me a confirmation no There is NO way I would ever use this company again!
