Locksmith Connections sent a contracted locksmith out to help us when our friends were locked out of their apartment The locksmith used a drill to gain entryThree days later the lock jammed and the door handle/knob became inoperable When we contacted Locksmith Connections, they refused to connect us with the locksmith and they were abusive in their communication as we looked to have them or the locksmith revisit the apartment to assess the situation The technician immediately used a drill to open the lock when he arrived According to Shareeda, the representative at the Locksmith Connections call center, the technician should have attempted to pick the lock without using a drill before taking that step in the process

I locked myself out of my house I [redacted] and got Locksmith Connection came up in my area (Melbourne, FL)I called at 7:pmOn hold and several times being told I'm caller The lady took my first name, address & good phone # She said they would be at my house in minutes 7:pm the serviceman called and said he was on his way8:pm he called again and said there was traffic At this time I gave him my gate code because my cell was dying 8:pm final a car pulled up He walked up to me with his cell phone and a pen He "looked" at my front door knob and said it was a cheap one and it would cost $for him to BREAK my lock He said the weather striping on my door was too tight and if he pulled on it that it would leak next time it rained He asked if a window was unlocked I told him "I could have broken in my own house, you're a locksmith and you can't unlock my lock!!! Just leave"! He then told me I owed him $for the service call I said "No" Way

This company advertises that it will connect you with technitions that can provide "Emergency Services Lockouts: home, business, or Automotive,Rekey locks, Change Locks,Repair Locks Unlock Services" and even promises an oath that they will provide the best services possibleThey liedThe man they sent was not professional at allAfter trying my key one time he told me their was not other way but to drill the doorHe didn't even try to unfreeze it or anything else, but at the time I was unaware that was dealing with an untrained personI suggested he try opening the community door on the side, he put on a show of trying to open it and told he could drill it openI told him no and began to suspect him, but I reluctantly told him okayOnly afterwards when a few locksmiths called me back did I realize that I had been taken advantage offThey have no business sending out rude, untrained people and making promises like "It is our responsibility and oath to provide our customers wit

I am glad that the technician was able to help you get back into your vehicle, and thank you for calling Locksmith Connections I have reviewed your phone conversation with the dispatcher, and it was clearly explained that the price starts at $and there would be a $service charge Unfortunately, I believe there must of been some confusion We never provide a final price over the phone, for the obvious reason that the technician needs to assess the vehicle and the situation first Once on site a total price will be provided This is how we have worked for the last years Because of the poor customer service and miscommunication I can refund you the service charge of $15.Thank you again for your business, and if you should need anything else please contact us right away.Rick E

Tell us why here...Thank you for sharing your concernsI have contacted the supervisor of the referred company He wanted to ensure me that the locksmith sent to you performed the service in a professional manner I understand that you have contacted another company and they have suggested some wrong doing with the pins I cannot validity the accuracy of what was suggested with this locksmith It seems to me as if this locksmith is playing with your worries and suggested wrong doing on our referred locksmith I have never heard of a locksmith putting pin instead of pinsTo me, it sounds as if the locksmith wanted to perform the service and put a bad image of his competitionI have shared your experience of the locksmith not providing you detail after the service was performed to the supervisor It is important for me to know of your experiences so that I can give our customers the best experience possible I value your feedbackWe are a legal company, who is relatively new I understand that you have contacted us prior to this and I will acknowledge that we have formed a new department to better help customers with concerns in hopes to help before needing to seek attention to other organizations Since you have already disputed the charges, there is nothing more than I can do, except share your concerns with the referred company’s supervisor and to improve our new customer service department I apologies for any inconvenience

The locksmith came to our house to unlock a vehicle that had the keys locked inside We were told the price would be a minimum of $The technician arrived and unlocked the car in less than minutes and the price was $After talking to a representative of the company the price was reduced to $90, still almost twice the quote I doubt that they ever charge $50,if so, very infrequently If you give them the make, model and year of the car why couldn't they give you the exact price? If they told me the price was going to be $initially and I agreed, I would not be complaining

Their agent quoted us at $arrival and “starting at $30” priceThese scummy scammy peoplelocksmith shows up and demands $ That’s waaaaaaay more than the quoted price! We called the agent who quoted us and they said “we’ll do you want to get into your home or not”I’m sorry, how do you go from such a modest price to 3-4x the amount?! The agent was super rude over the phone and even got mildly confrontational after I said I would leave a review of the service providedTo any and all potential customers- stay away from this websiteBait and switch, misleading, terrible customer service, and scummy business practices

Ms ***, You have brought to my attention of a complaint in regards to advertisingI would like to confirm that the statement “it is our responsibility and oath to provide our customers with the best customer service” is not on our website I reviewed our website and could not find this statement to address your concern with advertisingI can only assume that you must have read this on another company’s websiteYou have furthered stated that you would like a refund for something that you felt shouldn’t have been done by the locksmith’s recommendationOur locksmiths will not perform a service unless it was agreed uponAfter the service was performed, you contacted other locksmiths for their opinions over the phoneI cannot validate the accuracy of what other locksmith companies would claim to have done with your situation, especially over the phoneEach service is unique and requires a locksmith to be on site to assess and determine the best techniques to perform the serviceThe locksmith provided to you assessed your situation and performed the tasked with your permissionI cannot determine if it should have been done a different wayI apologized if you have felt as if the locksmith was rudeI have personally addressed your concerns to him

Thank you for sending the information of the person who had the serviceI am unsure why you have sent us a complaint since you are not the person serviced but I will respond to [redacted] To [redacted] ***: I have reviewed the comments of the job serviced and listen to the phone recordings I understand that a locksmith was sent to your location to unlock your door He quoted you a price to open the door and you agreed to have your door open He used a pick tool to get you inside your home; I understand that you thought he drilled the lockThree days later, you returned from a vacation at your parents’ house and found the lock inoperableIt seemed as if the lock worked prior to that, according to your explanation You called us three days later and suggested that the lock was damaged somehow by the locksmith when he picked the lock You stated that we “refused to connect us with the locksmith and they were abusive in their communication as we looked to have them, or the locksmith revisit the apartment” I have listen to all of the recordings and found that our supervisor had tried to call you backShe left a message and one number did not work You then called us back after that message and spoke to our supervisor I find that she was not abusive, but defensive because you placed a lot of pressure on her suggesting that the locksmith broke the lock and that we would charge you again The supervisor was frustrated because she never said those things and she felt as if you were putting words in her mouth She tried her best to be helpful and to sent you a locksmith to look at your situation To my understanding, the locksmith did not go to service you because he said he could not do anything He said that it was not a problem that occurred from what he did for you three days ago According to the locksmith, it is not common for a lock to break or latch to break from a lock pick We do not agree with the settlement since our locksmith stated that he could not have damage the lock during a lock pick and he stated that your lock issues was a separate situationIf the locksmith found an issue with his performance or products, which can happen, he would have easily return to your home to fix the concern

Date: January 6, 2014On December 22, 2014, the client called for locksmith services for a [redacted] Locksmith Connections sent out a licensed locksmith to the customerThe locksmith started to work on the lock but found himself having challengesNot giving up, he continued to work on the lock for hours trying to help his customer until he realized that there is nothing more he could doThe locksmith explained to the customer that he was unable to finish the service due to specific challenges and suggested going to the dealership. At times, even the most skillful locksmith cannot perform all taskSince our locksmith could not complete this challenging task, we waived the service charge and the customer was not charged at all for the laborWe wished our locksmith would have been able to complete the task, since it is our business; but we are aware that not all services can be handled by a licensed locksmithThis is an unfortunate situation for both parties, who both spent time trying to fix a problemThe disputed amount of is not associated with Locksmith ConnectionsThe customer was not charged this amount from this company but from the dealership of [redacted] ***d.Locksmith Connections,

Gave one star because had to in order to registerReally it's zero stars! My family and I accidentally locked ourselves out of the houseCalled a couple of places to get quotesThis place quoted us $for a service fee (just to come out) and $for the lockIt was just a basic lock --the kind that is on a doorknobGreat! They were by far the cheapest quote so we went with themBig mistakeSome guy named "Tony" with a thick eastern European accent came and looked at the lock and said it would be $plus $for a service feeOur jaws droppedMy husband said we were quoted by the company $service fee and $for the lockHe then proceeded to tell us that since it's a door, the charge is $My husband called the dispatcher right then, who said it's actually $and UP (never addressed why the service fee went from $to $35??)We told the guy to leaveI said that we had called another company who quoted $Then this "Tony" asked if we had cashWe said no, then he said he would just charge us $(after we told him to leave.) We refusedWe asked him again to leave and we would just call someone else-- at this point we didn't want his service, he wasn't a nice manHe said he wouldn't leave until the company told him to leaveMy husband told him that he needed to get off our property, like how dare he refuse to leave someone's property! Are you kidding me? I guess he saw my husband was pretty serious, so he decided to leaveWe called someone else and got into our house fineStill trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt, after this experience, we called them twice to lodge a complaintThe first time, some guy hung up on my husbandThe second time, a woman was placating me --once I told her we had the guy's license plate numberShe couldn't tell me who she dispatched our info to so we could call them directly to complain This place is a scam! Please note all the positive reviews on this site were written on the same date (5/14/17) almost like someone from the company wrote them to try to balance out the negative reviewsI hope they are also on yelp so I can write the same reviewThe guy we ended up using is Jack from [redacted] SolutionsSuper nice and did the job for the price quoted

I was out of town and the wife locked herself out of the houseminute guarantee turned into hoursWhen he got here, he tore the door up trying to get in, then tore the door [redacted] completely upThe door was only a year old and professionally installedIt now has a 1/2" gap between the door and the frameHe tried to pry the door open and tore up the frameThe person that did the work had no idea what he was doing or he would not have tore up the door to get inHell, my wife could have done that! Never would I recommend this business to anyone!

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In California anyone working on a lock MUST BE licensed by the State, carry that license, and show it upon demand This company sent an unlicensed personThat is NOT LEGAL in the state of California Regards, [redacted]

First I would like to apologize about the all the confusion and miscommunicationI did not review the initial call between the customer and dispatcherThe caller was informed of the $trip charge, and that the lock out of service starts at $and goes up from there, depending on what the sub-contractor decides once on siteIt is true that when any credit card is used to pay for service, we do have a few extra costs for processing debit/credit cards, so that is why sometimes the sub-contractors will charge an additional $10-$However, because of all the confusion, what I can offer the caller is to refund the service charge of $and then another 10%So I can send a check for the total of $

They're a complete scam with no controls in place to protect the customerThey quoted me $for the technician to arrive, then $for the service itself They said it shouldn't take more than minutes One hour later, the locksmith shows up and tells me it's $to open the door, and the people on the phone have no idea what they're talking about We tell him no, he goes down to $ I say I'm even clearer now that it's a no, so he goes to $ I speak to the dispatcher on the phone and cancel I hand the guy a $20, tell him I'm sorry but I won't do business like this, and he proceeds to stand at my house and complain for quite a while While I'm trying to get him to leave, the dispatcher then proceeds to call me SIX times straight, no voicemail I pick up and told him I cancelled and would just like to move on He then called me a F [redacted] *** and hung up the phone on me I called the main number to register a complaint, and they told me they have no way of knowing who called me (an ENORMOUS customer risk) and that they can't help me in any way

Came to service my door no Identification and took my money after I questioned his company

When I called from number on web page, I was told the fee for unlocking my car would be $15 to show up, rates start at$35. When technician showed up, before he even saw the car, he said $15 plus $180 to unlock. I asked him to explain what jumped the price from $35, he stated, no one pays $35, that's just what the office tells you. I timed the locksmith and it was 47 seconds to open the lock. I was also told they take cash or credit only, but when I went to pay, the locksmith said he doesn't carry any change. I believe this is a marketing scam, and when I called the number after locksmith left, and asked for a supervisor, she said that some people do pay $35.

We contacted Locksmith Connections and they gave my wife the price of $to call the locksmith and $for the tech to look at the lockThey said the tech would give the final priceAfter the job was done, the tech charged my wife $to open a very ordinary front door lock bought from [redacted] No alarmThe tech took advantage of the situation My wife asked for the final price and just verbally let him do the job, but she did not sign anything allowing him to do the jobShe's [redacted]  and she needed to take her [redacted]  that's why she was desperate to get inside the houseI called the [redacted] *** number to verify the price and they told me that they cannot do anything if my wife signed the job card, which she didn'tAlso when I called, the supervisor was really rude and kept talking over me and wouldn't give her name and the tech's nameHe spent less than minutes to do the job and we think it's WAY over the topThe tech was price gouging and should not b

Tell us why I understand your concern. I would like to explain to you that your vehicle requires two special codes, called a token. These codes are expensive for the locksmith to purchase and program. We do not price match with other companies and we are uncertain how or why other companies, such as the dealership you contacted, come up with their prices. I would also like to explain again, that we are a mobile service, we do not advertise a store front address. I would also like to state, that our locksmiths never perform services unless it is agreed upon. Our locksmiths evaluate the situation, quote a price, and if agreed, perform the service. ...

First I would like to thank you for calling locksmith connections for your emergency locksmith needUnfortunately it looks as if there was some sort of miscommunicationFor the residential lockout service we have a $service charge and the price starts at $to gain entry into the residenceWe do not provide any total price or charge over the phone, the reason being the technician needs to assess the job before startingHe needs to consider what type of Lockheed will be working with and which method to actually open the doorAfter the initial assessment he is able to provide the total price We record we record all calls between our customers and dispatch, after review of your call we did inform you of the $service charge and the starting price of $I understand it only took to seconds to actually unlock the door but we are trying to get you back in as quickly as possible, we are in emergency service and would rather get you back in within to seconds compared to to minutesAgain again I apologize for any confusion or miscommunication but I'm glad that we were able to help you get back into your home
