Gave one star because had to in order to registerReally it's zero stars! My family and I accidentally locked ourselves out of the houseCalled a couple of places to get quotesThis place quoted us $for a service fee (just to come out) and $for the lockIt was just a basic lock --the kind that is on a doorknobGreat! They were by far the cheapest quote so we went with themBig mistakeSome guy named "Tony" with a thick eastern European accent came and looked at the lock and said it would be $plus $for a service feeOur jaws droppedMy husband said we were quoted by the company $service fee and $for the lockHe then proceeded to tell us that since it's a door, the charge is $My husband called the dispatcher right then, who said it's actually $and UP (never addressed why the service fee went from $to $35??)We told the guy to leaveI said that we had called another company who quoted $Then this "Tony" asked if we had cashWe said no, then he said he would just charge us $(after we told him to leave.) We refusedWe asked him again to leave and we would just call someone else-- at this point we didn't want his service, he wasn't
a nice manHe said he wouldn't leave until the company told him to leaveMy husband told him that he needed to get off our property, like how dare he refuse to leave someone's property! Are you kidding me? I guess he saw my husband was pretty serious, so he decided to leaveWe called someone else and got into our house fineStill trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt, after this experience, we called them twice to lodge a complaintThe first time, some guy hung up on my husbandThe second time, a woman was placating me --once I told her we had the guy's license plate numberShe couldn't tell me who she dispatched our info to so we could call them directly to complain This place is a scam! Please note all the positive reviews on this site were written on the same date (5/14/17) almost like someone from the company wrote them to try to balance out the negative reviewsI hope they are also on yelp so I can write the same reviewThe guy we ended up using is Jack from *** *** SolutionsSuper nice and did the job for the price quoted

My son locked himself out his car while at home, and we looked up a local locksmith It was late Saturday evening, but we figured we just wanted it taken car of ASAP We found a local number, and ended up getting this company They quoted me a $service fee and a $35+ for unlocking the car
We received a a call a few minutes later from what I assumed was the local technicianHe said the price would be $to $ I told him this was much higher than before, and said I would call the office back I did, and a person named Garrett told me that the price for these types of jobs were typically between $and $depending on how difficult it was to open the carHe then said it would likely be around $60, but definitely not more than $
The technician showed up about minutes later He started working on the car right away I left to get a flashlight, and while I was gone he told my son it would be $to open it My son said he had to talk to me I came back within

This company headqtrs is the address listed but they send out employees from different statesI called their Derry Londonderry NH store to see if they made *** Keys. They did and I asked to come in to have a key made.Told they come out to home said several times I could drive there told cost is only $to come out Key would cost $asked other questions and told they didn't want to lose my business and would work with price as I felt for a key was a lotWhen the tech came out I was told key was but chip had to be activatedThey were going to give me a 10%discount also said on phone earlierBy now I needed to start getting ready for work and other things with time lost thinking key would be $+ $for serviceActivating chip was not mentioned on phone call prior It cost a total of $for one key no remote buttonsI was told if I went to dealer it would cost more and I would have to wait hoursI called dealer today and keys would be $and with chip activa

The locksmith being unprofessional because he was “messy” was not mentioned in the initial complaintDrilling two locks is not an unpractical situation and does not alarm us of him being unprofessional. I am also not sure what you are referring to as alternative techniques that you would like the locksmith to perform; you stated “having no knowledge of alternatives to a frozen lock”Again, what you have written to me, does not alarm me as unprofessional approach to open a doorHowever, I will address the issue of being “messy”. I can only assume that he was in a rush, but I will mention it, since it is a concern of yoursI can only assume that if he wasn’t “messy” that you may not have filed a complaintI apologize for the thatAlso, before responding to you, I checked to see if our website said “403: access denied”. Again, I do not see what you are referring to. I do not have that issueIf it does say that, it means there is a technical issue and is not intentional. However, we still do not list quotes online anyways. Therefore, again I can not help you with advertisement concerns. Are you referring to our website or another company? Again, you may send any images of our website concerns to me to correct, so I can themHowever, I do not see what you do and can’t do anything about those concerns

Quick arrival, BUT I was quoted by the service - dollars on the phoneWhen the locksmith called, he told me it would be around $After he arrived the price went to $plus a $service feeIn addition, I was not told they don't accept checks, only credit cards or cashI would NEVER recommend this company to anyone who is concerned with ethical business practices and/or price

One star is generous, would be the most accurateThe way this company operates is another example of a business using bait and switch tacticsOn September 30, 2018, I called because I had locked myself out of my house I was quoted $as a service charge, and told that the charge to open the door was $and upWell, after the two minutes it took for the tech to open the door, he presented me what the AND UP charge of $180, almost times the basic $quotedI was not told in advance that the charge would be $plus $for the service callI was stunned and the tech waived the $service call charge, which I assume is part of the bait and switch tactic, but still left me with a bill of $The tech did NOT change the lock as the CEO impliedHe opened the door in TWO minutesSadly, like others commented, once the work is done, you have to pay the billI have a dispute in process with my credit card company Fair is fair at this point, I didn’t expect anything for free, but I certainly didn’t expect price gouging and bait and switch tacticsAnd, I’m no different than anyone else that has been scammed, but $puts big dent in the budget of a senior

I am rejecting this response because:You saw no wrong doing? You didn't SEE anythingI'll tell you what I saw: A man who threw ALL the pieces of lock on the ground, did NOT pick them up, left shavings all over my door, welcome mat and floor inside my house, left a crooked piece of bolt inside my door for me to take care of until I DEMANDED that he remove itI don't know what kind of education or training he receive but it did not reflect in his workhe did not even prove to me that he could pick a lockYou cant even convince me that BOTH my side door and my front needed to be drilledthe enthusiasm with which he offered to drill me side door was almost comicalIf you still can stand there and say you see ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with the way he behaved, I think you too need trainingCarelessly leaving such a mess and having no knowledge of alternatives to a frozen lock; if you think that this is good professional behavior I think that is just sad and you need to consider your line of workI have NEVER had any professional of any sort leave such a mess behindI already told you how I feel about his knowledge of lockedhe should consider being trained again and I say shame on however gave him his certification/training. Should I mention how he completely ignored my request for him to take off his shoes as he tracked sleet all through my living room? He just marched right in, before I could tell him to just stand by the doorA little off my point, but it just added insult to injury, so to speakI'm disgusted with your company and your "services" and if you really wanted to be honest you would at least admit that the way he behaved was no way for a PROFESSIONAL to behaveBut you clearly want to believe what you want to believeBy the way, when I tried to screen shot the quote, the "about us" page where I took the quote suddenly gave me a '403: access denied' errorSo much for honestyYou are not honest at all, but I guess that's why you send untrained guys to people who cant afford to say no and over charge themMaybe we can have a real conversation when you feel like being honest

When I called from number on web page, I was told the fee for unlocking my car would be $to show up, rates start at$ When technician showed up, before he even saw the car, he said $plus $to unlock I asked him to explain what jumped the price from $35, he stated, no one pays $35, that's just what the office tells you
I timed the locksmith and it was seconds to open the lock
I was also told they take cash or credit only, but when I went to pay, the locksmith said he doesn't carry any change
I believe this is a marketing scam, and when I called the number after locksmith left, and asked for a supervisor, she said that some people do pay $

Very disappointed with Locksmith Connection lost my house key on 11/09/+to send someone out .Needed too get in my house I was told minutes to get there later ok.They charge me dollars to drill the lock took about minutes are you kidding.Guess they know your in a in a bad situation so they charge you way to much what can you do? Realy a bad deal hope no one will use them call another locksmith

Locksmith Connections is a very shady operationAs the 1st to pop up on google search I called them when in needI asked for things that would help me make a decision: price and time until the locksmith arrivedThey told me it would be about 20-minutes until the locksmith arrived at the location I told them and that it would be a $service fee plus $to open the vehicle ($total)It could be a little more if it were an advanced anti-breaking in systemMy vehicle was made in and it took about minutes to open itUnfortunately they came over hrs later as I waited in the cold with no cell service (I had to get dropped off at my vehicleThere was no cell service there) and I was actually charged $on my card by the locksmithThese people's shady operation needs to be shut downCompanies need to be held accountable for verbal quotes! Do not trust these peopleDo not use their services! I've tried to call them many timesThey put me on hold until I'm automati

This business told us over the phone that they charged $flat fee and then $to unlock the vehicle We told them our location and they sent out a technician The technician arrived and unlocked the vehicle in minute My daughter who is a minor was the person at the vehicle when the technician unlocked the vehicle He then told her that the fee was $ Our complaint is that they told us a much lower price over the phone and then charged over twice that amount after the job was done I called the Locksmith company to complain and they said that because she had already signed the invoice that that proved she agreed to the charges It's unfair to quote a price over the phone and then demand more than double after the service has been performed

Fast affordable services Tech was also very kind and professional

The locksmith came to our house to unlock a vehicle that had the keys locked inside
We were told the price would be a minimum of $The technician arrived and unlocked the car in less than minutes and the price was $After talking to a representative of the company the price was reduced to $90, still almost twice the quote
I doubt that they ever charge $50,if so, very infrequently
If you give them the make, model and year of the car why couldn't they give you the exact price?
If they told me the price was going to be $initially and I agreed, I would not be complaining

Sunday night I contacted locksmith connections and ask for help with my ***, the key was lost and I asked them if they could provide me with someone that could make another key and they told me yes they gave me the name of someone that would be coming out and I waited and the person didn't come I called them back and they called the person again and he called me and said he would come in the morning between and he came closer to yesterday he worked on the car for a couple of hours and then I got a phone call from him even though I was in the house and he was gone and he said that he couldn't finish the job because my ignition was broken to which I told him that it wasn't broken before he started service in my car and he said that it was a problem that happens when you make a new key and I let him know that I wanted the ignition back in its proper working order and he said that he couldn't help me unless I paid $to get it replaced and it wasn't broken before he started worki

I locked myself out of my house on the morning of Sunday, September 30, I called Locksmith Connection and was quoted a $Service call fee and a locksmith charge starting at $When the technician arrived, he was able to open the door in approximately two minutes and proceeded to tell me that the charge would be $$for the service call and $to unlock the doorI was stunned and asked the technician and he said $is for a basic serviceI asked about a senior citizen discount and he said there was none, but he waived the $service chargeI believe that he should have told me what it was going to cost before he proceeded to unlock the door, which he did not doHe informed me after the job was doneAt that point I had no option but to pay for the serviceI did, however, call the original ####-###-#### and spoke to two incredibly rude individuals, Michelle, and then her Supervisor, WhitneyThey both insisted there was nothing that could be done after the fact

This company advertises a local phone number in my state, and refers a local locksmithThey are not insuring these locksmiths are operating legallyIn California anyone who works on a lock must be licensed individually with the state, and carry that picture license and show it upon demand
Locksmith Connections referred a company, the technician arrived, performed the work installing a new component on a lock, took my credit card, ran it, and gave me a "receipt" which had no address, no phone number and no invoice number on it (all required by law)I asked for his business card and he said he gave out his last one on the last job He would not give me his last nameI asked to see his license, and he went outside and drove away
Over the next days I asked this info of Locksmith Connections (documented in emails) and they never provided itI hired another local locksmith to change the key (since an unknown person now had my key)This locksmith said that the device installed ha

Today (July 2018) my wife and I called this company to get a price quote for unlocking the door on our Minivan after she locked the keys insideWe were told $for the service call (for sending somebody out) and "$and up" (for the unlocking itself)The last part made us think, reasonably, that such a simple, routine job ought to be in the ballpark of $Otherwise, why in the world would they give those numbers? The "technician," who arrived an hour later than we were told he'd come, was extremely rude, insisting that the $he wanted to charge us was legitimateI walked away from the scene because, as I said to my wife, I'd rather take a taxi home and get our extra car key than let this person touch our vehicleBut my wife was stressed out and in a hurry, so, after talking the guy down to $100, she paid him with a debit cardThe "receipt" he texted her gave no business nameAfter returning home I called the number on the receipt and asked for the company nameThe person who answered was the same "technician" my wife had paidHe kept asking me why I wanted to know and I kept responding that, in the first place, I wanted to know exactly what company it was that we had just paid $to (because, you know, it's generally a good thing to know who's going to be taking money out of your bank account) as well as the fact that I had some follow up questions about the amount my wife had been misled into payingThe "technician" ended the call by saying, and I quote "I'll tell you the name of the company: it's suck a big long d**k." Talking to LC was no help eitherThe guy on the phone kept insisting to me, in an overly aggressive and rude manner, that we paid a fair price and have nothing to complain aboutThe he ruined his own argument by saying that the average price people pay for unlocked cars is $Notice the gross manipulation? Instead of telling callers that, on average, people in their position must pay around $150, they say "$and up" giving people the impression that it's not going to cost them a small fortune for the 60-seconds it takes to get their car unlockedHis reaction when I told him about the "technician's" telephone comment? Complete unconcernWasn't us, he said, as if LC's business relationship with such a person is unproblematicWhat a sleazy businessI recommend avoiding any dealings with them if at all possibleI'd give LC less than one star if it were allowed

Today morning I called the Locksmith connection service and over the phone they told me they can open my locked door with dollar for coming to my house and dollar for service feeWhen they came to my house they charge me dollarThe technician took only to second to open my lock with only one screw driverWhen I called them again about the bill they told me that the service fee will start with dollar which one they did not tell that beforeand also for only second service and charge dollar is not reasonableI would like to request you to look over the locksmith connection as I am feeling that they are taking advantage of the people's bad situation

This locksmith company did a service call on 4/8/to open my closed garage and after they got my garage open, they damaged my garage door frame The locksmith promised twice that there would be “no damage at all” to my garageThe damage was not discovered until after the locksmith left and I paid him over $for this service
The customer service at HQ’s & locally in regards to this issue has been ridiculous
After having to deal with multiple customer services people & managers at HQ and locally for one week, they refused to take responsibility for this garage door damage THEY DID The did offer that the would send a garage door specialist to fix it, but they wanted me to pay for it! Then the local locksmith manager offered that he would cut my bill in half only if I fixed it myself & HQ first said the would refund me $off my bill then offered me a $refund or they would send a garage door specialist out but I would have to pay for that service and I

Just had the worst experience with Locksmith ConnectionsThey lied about the amount of service, were extremely unprofessional, rude, would not provide name, cursed at me and then hung up on meI do not recommend that anyone use this businessEVER!!!!
