I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  My husband and I reached back to the PM as the company email requested and we met with the PM on Friday, 18 NOV 16.  We discussed the issues and a way forward to complete the job.  The company will come back and finish the remaining skylights as well as the cricket.  As long as the job is completed, we find this resolution satisfactory.

I have been getting this exact same response for over 4 months.  Every time I call (weekly) and ask the status of the replacement window I get the same response. They are doing nothing to get the window replaced.  How incompetent do you have to be for this to go on for over 9 months?  To this day I have not received the replacement window.

I am rejecting this response because:Regardless of your explanations, your salesman purposely mislead the conversation when using the term "deferment!"  He is fully aware ofour discussion and my understanding.  It's very easy for him to come back after the fact and state differently!   Just know, I am not happy nor will I ever do new business with Long Fence or Long Fence and Home again.  I expect the current contract's warrantyconcerning my roof and gutters to be honored if there are any problems.

In January 2015 , my parents contacted Long Fence about replacing a security door. The rep came, my parents paid the deposit, the installer came and took measurements. The door was finally installed in April. There were several cosmetic and proper installation problems. There were holes left in the front of the house where the old door was removed, the new door was not installed with security screws but rather regular Phillips head screws, there is a half inch gap left between the security door and the house, to name a few. We had pictures taken and gave them to long fence along with the a list of concerns. Eventually, in late April or early May some of the concerns were addressed. The door still looks unprofessionally installed, there are two screws inside the door that are not attached to anything. I have written 5 letters, the latest at the beginning of June. I also contacted them via the contact page on their web-site. Both my father and I have talked to the service supervisor several times and were assured the issues would be addressed, but we have not received any further contact from anyone at Long Fence.

Hi [redacted], Let me start by saying, thank you for your patience.  After speaking with [redacted] we have come up with a  solution to offset the aesthetic issues you are not happy with first we are going to send a roofing foreman back to re-flash all four skylights in a way that will...

change the appearance more to your satisfaction. Second we will also recap the gable vent in new white aluminum above the siding per our phone conversations the color we originally capped it in was not to your liking this will  make it more attractive while maintaining the performance of the new ventilation system.   Finally after speaking we have found a solution to your old existing gutter guards that are causing the shingles to lift up per the text messages with [redacted] this will complete all of your concerns on this project thank you again for your business.John D[redacted]

door was purchased on 3/15/2003 for your basement. Neither of these doors include a storm door. Long Fence and Home did not sell or install your storm door. It is for this reason, we cannot fix the handle. Please reach out to us if we can help with anything further.
