Mrs. [redacted], Again, I apologize for the misunderstanding at the time of sale. We do not have the resources for asbestos removal, which your house has. We cannot placesiding over the old due to this reason.  Please understand this.  Thank you, John D[redacted] Jr.

[redacted],
After reading the email chain between yourself and Adam L[redacted], I find no fault in what was communicated to you.
You state:
"[redacted]
loan, 84 month term, 7.99% but there's a 12 month deferment period and 12
months to pay the loan in full @ 0.0% interest.
If there's any balance after the 12 months, then the balance is subject to the
84 month term @ 7.99%.  Is my interpretation correct?"
This means you have 12 months deferment period along with 0% financing during the deferment period. This is not two consecutive years. Otherwise it would state, 12 Month deferment and 24 months of 0% interest. This is not the case as we do not have a plan that offers this.
In regards to [redacted], I spoke with a gentlemen from there on Friday and instructed him to send us a bill with my attention on it. I will then send him a check with the agreed amount.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

[redacted] The installation was scheduled for a...

Sunday and materials were delivered on Friday. The roof was being removed when the crew noticed the underlayment was not delivered.  Being that it was a Sunday there was not a supply store open to purchase the Diamond Deck.  Due to the roof already being removed it was in the best interest of our client to complete the project on Sunday. Our crew installed Owens Corning and GAF synthetic underlayment which are comparable products. We have attached pictures to show that we did use quality products that are comparable and equally priced to what the customer purchased. The customer was very upset and requested removal of the new underlayment and shingles . We did as the client requested and removed the  roof and installed the Diamond Deck and new shingles the next day at no additional charge.  This was not a case of bait and switch as the client claims, this was a case of taking considerable care of our client and offering comparable products when the contracted product was not delivered in time. As a sales person, Adam, was only able to speak to what he could visually inspect. Upon that Adam believed that this was a one (1) layer roof. As for our measure tech, Curt, he was there to measure not to remove any roof parts. Therefore he would being stating only what he could visually inspect as well. Once we began removing the roof we noticed there were two (2) layers to be removed and the customer was informed. In addition the crew had to replace eighty (80) feet of plank board due to being rotted. Again, the customer was notified of the necessary plank replacement To address the allegation of misrepresentation of Long Fence and Home, we stand behind our crews as being part of our team. Indeed we do use sub-contractors, but that does not negate the fact that they are part of Long Fence and Home while completing jobs for our customers. We hold all sub-contractors to the standards of Long Fence and Home. Communication is key here at Long Fence and Home. Our COO, Dave N[redacted], has left multiple messages to resolve contract dispute and allegations against our company. These calls were  only returned during Non Business hours. Thank you so much,    John D[redacted]. Operations Manager[redacted]

[redacted], Thank you for the feedback. We are always looking for ways to get better. In your complaint, you state that you want us to honor your understanding of the financing terms. (Oct. 2015 to Oct. 2016 the payments would be deferend then from oct 2016 to oc 2017 the loan is 0.0% interest...

This is the plan you signed off on.I am very sorry you misunderstood the terms of the financing. In regards to the second request, "the company to followup with [redacted] to reimburse the cost of the tires and loss of business as a result of down time cause by roofing nails".Since there is no way of proving that the nails found in the tires of your landscaping company came from the roof I cannot admit fault. I am rejecting this response because:"Long Fence and Homes can't say they are not responsible for the windows when they were the ones to contract the contractors to install all 12 windows. I could understand, if I had  independently purchased them and employed my own contractors. But that was not the case. "

2008. When we received from the manufacturer and went to the

manufacturer is specially aligning the grids on [redacted]'s order. Every step of the

last week, and we did a 3-way call with the manufacturer. The order is

All my best,

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:This response is unacceptable since it essentially duplicates the previous response. If anyone even bothered to look at the attached picture, you would see this hole in the roof is a result of misaligned plywood underlay boards and not a issue with windows or siding. This is clearly not a window hole being viewed from inside the attic. The issue with the window leaking has hopefully been corrected through the work done to rehang the gutters and properly replace the capping. I say hopefully because it is untested.I am seeking resolution on the hole in the roof. Please advise. If this is not resolved per our original discussion acknowledging the need to repair, I will have no other recourse than to engage legal representation.Regards,

Review: I have received numerous phone calls from Long Fence and Home in the [redacted], MD, location. Their phone number is ###-###-####. I have asked them on more than one occasion to take me off their list and not contact me again. I again received a phone call today from a [redacted] who apparently had no idea I had been requested to be off the list. I asked to speak to any supervisor and was put thru to a woman called [redacted] who refused to disclose her last name and hung up on the phone on me despite the fact that I had not finished speaking. I then called the national office of Long Fence and Home and spoke with a woman named [redacted] who promised that she would put me on the Do not call list.Desired Settlement: No more phone calls from Long Fence and Home! At this point because of these endless phone calls I would never use their company for anything.

Response:

Dear **. [redacted],

Review: To Whom It May Concern;

On August 30, 2006 I purchased a Gutter Jacket System from Long Fence and Home, LLLP, [redacted]. We paid a premium price to have their Gutter Jacket System installed at our home at [redacted]. The gutters were advertised and represented by their Sales Representative([redacted]) as being clog free with a life time warranty that if the interior of the Gutter Jacket Systems ever became clogged with ANY TYPE OF ORGANIC DEBRIS Long Fence and Home would clean the gutters at no cost to me. Implied in the sales presentation was that I would never have to clean the gutters again. That is the primary reason I made a decision to purchase the Long Gutter Jacket System.

Within the first two years I noticed that the gutters were overflowing and called the Long Fence and Home Customer Service Department and they eventually sent someone out to clean the gutters. Then the same problem occurred the following year and I called to have the gutters cleaned. When I was unable to get someone to come out to clean the gutters so I wrote a letter to **. [redacted], President Long Fence and Home to complain about the defective gutters and potential damage that could be caused to my home such as "water damming" in the winter months. Someone finally came out and cleaned the gutters. In the fall of 2011 the gutters became clogged again. I placed a ticket to have someone come out to clean the gutters and that I wanted to schedule an appoi9ntment with **. [redacted], Long Fence and Home Client Service Manager, to discuss resolution of this on-going problem with the gutters. They sent a person out to clean out the gutters and when he got to my house and started to unload his ladders I could see he was very unhappy. He didn't ask me to move my car but instead started to set the ladder up and accidently hit the bumper of my car with the aluminum ladder and chipped the paint. I asked him to leave the property and called **. [redacted] to file a complaint. He sent out another person to clean the gutters. He also agreed to come out and personally inspected the gutters. He came out but I never heard from him again. It's the fall of 2013 and the gutters are clogged again with water streaming down the side of the house causing erosion and possible water damage to the trim and wood behind the siding. This has been an on-going problem since the Long Fence and Home Gutter Jacket System was installed and is unacceptable product performance, unacceptable service after the sale, as well as a breach of the original written lifetime warranty.

I have copies of all the documents referenced and provided at time of sell and installation of the Long Fence Home Gutter Jacket System. I have previously requested immediate permanent resolution of this matter with **. [redacted], President, Long Fence and Home LLLP. At this point I have no recourse but to file a formal complaint with the Revdex.com and to legal counsel as to what my consumer rights are in this matter. Thank you.

[redacted] and [redacted]. [redacted]

Response:

Dear **. [redacted],

Review: I signed a contract for remodeling a residential shower 4-7-2014 and had 3 days to rescind the contract. I faxed my recission on 4-9-2014. The contract specified that the down payment of $2,383 was to be "returned within 10 days following receipt" of my cancellation (the contract does not specify week days, work days, or business days). Even using the more lenient definition of days as "work days" meaning five days a week, Long Fence and Home violated this term of the contract by posting the check on 4-25-2014, 12 days following notice of cancellation.Desired Settlement: Change the language of their contract to "returned within 3 business days".

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted],

The request [redacted] makes to “change the language of the contract to "returned within 3 business days" already exists. Please see the contract attached.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: my complaint was not understood correctly. I was not complaining about the 3-day period for cancellation. I was complaining about the length of time it took Long Fence to return my deposit check. Their contract specifies that the deposit will be returned within 10 days. Long Fence took 12 days to return my deposit. That is the violation of their own policy. And it is the length of time to return a check that I am asking to be changed to 3 days from the current 10 days.

Regards,

Business

Response:

The 10 day period the client refers to here is federal law and thus cannot be changed. This complaint is not valid as it is arguing MD law.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will take up the issue with Maryland Attorney General as a violation of Maryland law.

Regards,

Review: I paid Long Home to have the insulation in my attic to be upgraded to R50. They supplied insulation for the attic that is insufficient. A recent home energy audit showed that the insulation in my attic is R30, not R50 which is what I expected. I have made numerous phone calls and sent an email to customer service. They have answered one or two of my calls, but they have not arranged to send someone out to my house to inspect the attic.Desired Settlement: I would like them to improve the insulation to what it should be for what I paid or refund my money.
