homeowner.  Long Fence and Home is a family run business doing thousands of home improvement projects for our customers every year.  We strive to make every one of our customers happy and satisfied. We will be happy to send someone out to meet with this customer to discuss options involved in replacing his roof.  We have found over the years that having all parties who own the home present for our product demonstration has been easiest and the most convenient for our customers.  At this meeting with all parties present, any questions or concerns that come up can be explained.  We will however make an exception for this homeowner since he was adamant that he didn’t need his wife to be present. Thank you again and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused in adhering to our internal request which we have found to be a successful business model for our customers over the years. Our previous message did not say that we are not responsible for the windows. We are responsible for the windows, and they are functioning properly. We are not, however, responsible for the insulation beyond the window frames, which are beyond the scope of our work, as noted on our contracted agreement. We completed the work as contracted in our agreement; any insulation beyond the window frames is not part of work that we do.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is not satisfactory to me, although this company will not be getting mine or any other business from friend/relatives.  I cannot continue to argue a point with a company that refuses to see no fault in what they have done.  I think that's it unsatisfactory that they are able to solicit in a neighborhood with these type of homes, and then tell me that they cannot complete the job; even when they do indeed offer a service to cover the side without disturbing it.  I think there is more to this than given, like possibly they didn't like the price that was negotiated.

I am rejecting this response because:  Long Fence does install gutter systems and installed a gutter
system at my home last week.  However, as agreed, and discussed with associate (Steven W[redacted]),
they did not replace the soffice.  I would like the soffice replaced.
