I purchased Lumare skin serum and eye cream on a fourteen day trial. I received the product 6 days after the purchase. On day fourteen I had a charge on my debit card for almost $180 for both products. I called the company immediately and they said they could not do anything about the charge because my 14 days were up that day. The person on the phone states that she was the manager she would do nothing and hung up on me.

Review: Early August I ordered "free trial" of Lumare Anti-Aging Serum ("as seen on Dr. Oz"). Those 2 products for 5.95 each, plus I bought lip plumper, regular price of $17. 8/29/15 Lumare charged my credit card $89.77 and $98.71 for the 2 products. I called them twice last night (9/16/15). [redacted] "No Last Name" informed me that I was a "member" because I had agreed to their Terms and Conditions. I said I had not agreed to any such Terms and Conditions on the Facebook ad, there was no box I checked agreeing to become a member or pay that exorbitant price. She said it was on the bottom of their website. It was not anywhere on their small Facebook ad. She said I could not return the unopened product, because they could not sell it, that it would not be effective anymore after sitting in my air conditioned home for a month. Apparently, it has a very fragile shelf life. I canceled the "membership" to the company I had never joined. And by the way, no receipt came with the products or any papers informing me about my fake membership or that they would be charging me for more unrequested products. When I asked [redacted] "No Last Name" ( wouldn't give it to me) if she got lots of complaints like mine, she said, "No, just from a few old women who don't know about Terms and Conditions." She was clearly implying I was (a) old and (b) not very computer savvy. I thanked her for the thinly veiled insult. And then she said, "Everybody knows about Terms and Conditions, it's 2015!" She was rude and demeaning. I'm not very old, but if you're trying to sell an anti-aging serum, you can bet that your clientele is not 23. I looked online after our phone call and noticed a lot of dissatisfied people on [email protected] so I called back and spoke with a man that said he was her manager. He said he didn't agree that the shelf life of their product was so fragile, that wasn't part of her "Script" and she would be retrained. He said no good to contact the Revdex.com, it would end up costing more $Desired Settlement: I want my money back! $89.77+$98.71= $188.48

They are in the business of tricking people.

Review: I placed an order from Lumare for 1 product line for a free trail I only needed cover shipping. When the products arrived they came shipped in a box with no packing material and not packing slip, I actually didn't know who it was from and started not to open it because the box was rattling. When I did open it , the very expensive eye cream the plastic lid was cracked and the ,Lip plumper had NO LID! So unsanitary!!! A few days later I called the Lumare to report and cancel any future shipments,and say I wanted a refund because my credit card had been billed by 3 different companies not just Lumare ,for a trail of something I only ordered from lumare. He ( [redacted]) then told me too bad it must have been USPS fault and I said no my husband works for the USPS and they don't pack the merchandise they just deliver it and your company delivered it without lids and no packing! He was rude and told me my account was already billed again over $200.00 for damaged merchandise that I only had a couple of days to even try, I said I didn't even have 2 weeks to try it and he said well it is from tithe time you place the order.!! So how can anyone try anything in 2 days! They are a SCAM company. It should be a health violation to send out lip plumper , with no lid and then refuse a refund.

If you offer a 2 week trial it should be from time of receipt of merchandise not from the time you place an order. That is FALSE ADVERTISING. And I know because I've been in the retail industry for 30 years and we would get fined for each false advertising occurance.

I would likes refund because as I stated for HEALTH red.asons alone I wouldn't put this product on my skin and it arrived late and damaged and I urge the Revdex.com to investigate them and the FDA.

When need to protect consumers from these online predators.Desired Settlement: I would like my accounts credited and the the company to change its practices regarding packaging and shipping and most importantly Billing.

The number one rule of thumb for Great Customer Service vice is

The Customer is Always Right not the customer is a person to be spit on!

Review: Company refuses to issue refund for unauthorized charge for trial offer and charged bank account without permission.

Company sent a trial shipment, authorized charge for around $11. Then a charge for $188.48 appeared on my bank account. After I contacted the company as soon as the charge appeared (8/21) and said to cancel the account immediately, the customer service rep said that they would not refund the money. There was nothing in the trial offer that said anything about an additional charge. This company is operating with extremely poor business practices and the complaints against them are in the hundreds.Desired Settlement: I want my $188.48 refunded and any account information they have on file cancelled immediately.

Review: Product was advertised as $4.95 for the product. I was later charged and sent another bottle and my checking account was charged $89.71. The add said nothing concerning a "subscription" and the web site does not respond to efforts to cancel. I would like my money returned.Desired Settlement: replacement of money withdrawn from my checking account.

Review: I ordered a trial sample of Lumare skin 10/22/14 one eye serum $4.95 the other skin serum $3.95. I received the first of two products 10/26 and the second product 10/28. (I even called the company to see what the delay was) My face broke out in a rash using the product in just 2-3 days. I called the company 11/10/14 to cancel any future products. I then check my bank account and realized the Lumare company has ALREADY charged my account on 11/4/14 two charges in the amount of $179.42!!!

This company's billing practices are suspect! They say the clock is running on products you haven't even received yet! No time to sample the product before they are gouging your account for more money!!! This is an unfair and unethical business practice and I am requesting a full refund.Desired Settlement: I've called the company 11/10, I spoke with a couple different representatives that offed different information ( [redacted] & [redacted]) I'm returning the products effective 11/10/14. I was told this is the only way to receive a full credit. How can a consumer continue to escalate a concern of this nature, other governing agencies, etc.? The billing information should be transparent and up front and not buried as well as when and how billing will occur. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.

Review: There are lots of issues involved with this company. First of all, I ordered a product and supposedly I had 14 days to trail and see if I like it. After the trial is over they charged my account apprx: $200.00. First of all, I received the product on the day #13 and on the #14 day, I was supposed to cancelled my subscription, otherwise, I would get bill. Well, according to them, I received an email when I ordered product which I couldn't find. The order arrived and no paperwork came attached stating such terms. I looked this company up and there are many complaints stating just about or similar to my situation. This is totally a scam and rip off. I called them and they were very rude stating I should have been responsible to look up at the terms. How can you start counting the 14 days the minute you ordered the product? They did not even give me any change to try the product before they were charging my account. I feel they are ripping off many people per all the complaints listed. Is there anything that can be done so this doesn't continue happening? They couldnt even provide me with the orignal email that they supposedly sent me!!Desired Settlement: I want my full refund back from this company and someone to check on the bad representation that they are doing to the public and customers. Totally unacceptable, unprofessional and a total scam. They should be stop on their tracks!
