Review: Sending a products without ordering. Don't want me to return the product. Still black mark on my face cuz of the product. The representative or agent is very rude and hang up on me. Take money on my credit card without the two items. Over charged, they charged me $538.44 for 4 items. They email me March 7 and 9 (regarding to my refund ($134.75).Desired Settlement: I want all my money back, $538.44

Review: I ordered a trial sample of this product. There is NO SPACE on the website that clearly disclosed the terms and conditions. There was NO SPACE where it asked me to agree to their terms and conditions - it is hidden at the very bottom of the website. I feel like I have been LIED TO especially since the product does not deliver on promises, it is a totally USELESS product, I did not agree to receive monthly shipments and did not agree to the $188.48 charged to my credit card. I agreed to pay shipping on the trial offer and that was all! Nowhere on the packing slip did it say I was signing up for monthly shipments. This is false advertising and a scam. I would like my money credited to my credit card.TOTAL SCAM!!!!Desired Settlement: To return the money TO MY CREDIT CARD! And apology from the company for being rude, for selling useless products, for misleading their customers, and for false advertisement

There was not an area where it asked me to agree to their terms and conditions - it is hidden at the very bottom of the website. I feel like I have been taken, especially since the product does not deliver on promises, it is a totally inferior product, and I am certain that it does not contain any of the the ingredients advertised. Nowhere on the packing slip did it say I was signing up for monthly shipments or I would have cancelled immediately. This is false advertising and a scam. I would like my hard earned money credited to my Visa card. Totally outrageous, can't believe they can sleep at night.Desired Settlement: To get a refund and for them to state clearly on their website of the extra charges.

Review: Ordered on line free trial of anti aging serum and eye cream on 6/15/15 at 9pm. $4.95 + $5.95. They are playing with words to rip the consumer off. Says to cancel within 14 days or be charged $98.71 + $89.77. They charged my bank account today 6/29/15 at 2:27am for both. Today 6/29/15 is the 14th day. I called 3 times trying to correct. The only thing I got was offered on the second call 50% refunded in two to three business. days. My third call Samantha said I needed to call yesterday on the 13th day.

This is such bad business and somewhat a scam. All you have to do after you get took like me is look up the many people like me getting took on the internet.

They should be shut down or made to rewrite their policies. It's unfair practice to the consumer especially when they just don't have hundreds of dollars in their bank account doing nothing and blowing up peoples bank accounts.Desired Settlement: I should get a full refund not 50%.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

[redacted] P.S. I do of course accept the full refund I deserve. Revdex.com you can close this complaint if you decide to do so. I do not agree with the explanation that was given with the company's response about how they do business. Their "within 14 days" policy starts the day the product ships not a few days after a person receives it. In addition 14 days should be 14 days not 13. And there is no reason to have rude csr's when they know taking that job would include customers like me being already besides themselves of almost $200 being taken out of their bank acct on the 14th day. I feel some opportunities are here to have better customer service and improve company image, etc. All the company has to do is google their company name and see how many people are disagreeing with their business practice and reputation.[redacted]

I had ordered the Lumare skin for the free trial .I paid for the shipping and handling. They continued to send the serum to me at $100.00 a bottle which was never full. I lost my job in December so I called to cancel The guy said they would stop my order for 2 months. I said fine until I find another job. I still had 2 bottles I hadent opened. Then I opened one of the sealed bottels and it was empty. I called the customer service and told them they did send me another bottel. The main thing with me was I wasent seeing any results and I saw the first ingredient was water thats not good ive bought serums b4 and some had no water in it. So I just called today to cancell and I had no problems with the lady she cancelled my order. Alsi my bank told me if I had any problems with them they could help me. I would never order anything with a credit card they will not help u. But if u use your debit card your bank can help you with any issues on taking your $. So now ill wait and see if they did cancell it.I hope so

Review: While I was on the internet, a pop-up appeared advertising a Dr. ** approved product that I could purchase for only the cost of shipping and handling. I read through the offer, specifically looking for a catch, and did not find any further obligation on my part. I then ordered the product authorizing the payment of only shipping and handling. The product arrived, and I was dissatisfied. The results were not as claimed, and I was glad I had not spent more. I summarily dismissed it from my mind.

A few weeks later while I was assessing my finances, I noticed an unusual charge on my credit card for $98.71, entitled JDM[redacted]. I did not recognize the charge, so I called the number. After a few questions I realized that the company had charged me the extra $98.71, the full price of the product! Advising me that he would not refund my money, and that I should have read the full disclosure, "[redacted]" informed me that I had reached a call center. When asked, [redacted] refused to give me a physical address where I might contact the company to protest the charge. He allowed only that it was on the West Coast.

Not only was the product unacceptable, the customer service left me frustrated as to an equitable resolution.Desired Settlement: Charge of $98.71 refunded to my credit card.

Review: Hello. I came across a Lumare Eye cream advertisement on [redacted]. The advertisement was for the eye cream and it was under ten dollars. Before you knew it this companies page wouldn't let me order the eye cream unless I ordered a lip balm and facial cream too. Then before I knew it It the bill was up to $29.80. Not happy about it but, I wanted to try this product line. Well, two weeks later without any warning, phone call, or email, This company charged my debit card without authorization about $190. I went to my bank to dispute the charges and it turns out Lumare automatically enrolls you into an automatic refill program where you receive product in the mail. Now my bank won't dispute the charge because I must deal with Lumare. I didn't want this and no where on my ordering screen did I see anything about this Trial-Period. This company is filled with fraud and they take advantage of the elderly and people. I wanted them to refund my money but they told me that I have to wait for this product that I didn't order to come in the mail and ship it back. Now I will have to pay for return shipping and provide an RMA#. I dislike this company very much. If you look up reviews about this company I am not the only one who has had an issue, many other people too.Desired Settlement: I want them to refund my money immediately. They are a dishonest business and charge you a ridicules amount of money. I don't want to have to wait for this product and be responsible to return it and pay for shipping. Its not my problem, you ripped me off.

Review: I signed up on-line to receive 2 products for free paying just for shipping. The 2 products arrived as promised, I paid $5.95 in shipping for each product.A few weeks later I noticed that I had been charged $98.71 and $89.77 for products from this company. When I called them they advised me that I had signed up for a program where I would receive these two products monthly and that these are the monthly fees I can expect. In no way did I sign up for this program. The company representative then went on to advise me that what I received originally when I just paid for shipping was a 30 day supply of the product and that the free sample was just for 14 days so I now need to return what remains of both products by mail after which they will issue a credit in 30 days minus a re-stocking fee of $5.95 for each product.Since they cannot resell the products I am sending back, I wonder why they think they should charge me a restocking fee. This is a terrible company. They never provided me with a follow up email after I made the original purchase which should have clearly spelled out what I was supposedly signing up for. I'm sure there was fine print somewhere but I did not see it.Desired Settlement: I want to be credited in full for the two charges of $89.77 and $98.71 and I do not want to pay a restocking fee for the products that I will return to them by mail on August 11, 2015.I have contacted my credit card company ([redacted]) so they know I am disputing the charges.Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Regards,

I purchase facial skin care products from Lumare while watching T.V. what I saw was you had to paid for shipping of the Serum and face cream. I was charge for both products at $5.95 apiece which both came together in the same box. Receiving this package was the two items and an invoice showing what I got. The problem is I was charge for these items at $99.01 and $98.07 with no indication from what I received on the invoice of a 14 day trail. I did not see any information on T.V. saying you had to call to cancel or ask for more time to use these products. I've call to get my money back it's fallen on deaf ears. I'M pass Pissed at this point dealing with a so called company that can take your hard earn money and said its your problem if you did not read the fine print on the T.V. commercial. I need my money back and need help getting it.

Review: I ordered a skincare product, off the Internet but when I got the product I only authorized them to take out 3.95 & 4.95 for a 14 day trial, ordered it on Oct. 14th called to cancel the 28th and they had taken out of my chking acct. An amount of 89.71 I sent product back, that 14th day I called and canceled it that morning.the# [redacted] I want my payment put back in my bank acct.Im on disability and live on a fixed incomeDesired Settlement: I just want the 89.71 returned and put into my bank account the place is a scam!!

$89.77 and $89.71, under two different names ! I did not order anything else and samples were free! Beware consumers! It's a scam! Make sure you double check your credit card bill! Luckily I got mine removed! Live and learn!

Review: I ordered a free sample of skin care products (2) and was to pay only $5 per product for shipping. I was to get 14 days to try the product. I received it on 9/5, and on 9/13 my account was charged $189. I have complained and they are giving me back 75% of the charge. It looks like this is how they make their money.Desired Settlement: I want all my money back

Review: Order this product's "free" 30 day trial offer. Should have picked up on their bad cheating business practices right away as it was impossible to order only the one product to try. They have created a scam in that they claim you have agreed to order their extremely high priced product just because you order the "free" 30 day trial. The website is not clear and if they had good intentions towards customers they would refund when there is a problem with the product. It burned my skin on one use and made my face swell up. I had no clue as to their deceitful practices until I subsequently received another shipment from them they I did not want and would never have authorized their outrageous charges which amount to almost $500. They have a different "customer service" for each product so you have to spend an unreasonable amount of time just to be spoken to in an unreasonable tone that because you failed to follow their company rules that they have the right to apply those charges to your credit card and they refuse the return of an unopened shipping box. One "customer service" is allowing me to return the one product "Eye Cream" for a charge of approximately $15.00 but is still charging me almost $100 for the "free 30 trial sample". It did not matter to the company that their product burned my skin and caused my eyes to swell up even though I immediately washed the product off my face as soon as it started to burn. I have placed 2 phone calls and find it crazy that they will allow the return of one product but not the others and for that one product and the "free 30 trial sample" I am being charged close to $300. I actually wasn't going to waste my time complaining to this company about how terrible their product is until I received the new unordered shipment and realized the outrageous charges. Sure I have heard buyer beware but they are set up to make it impossible to realize what you are getting into. Not consumer friendly or fair.Desired Settlement: I feel this company should reverse all the charges for the products on my credit card. I will pay the approximately $5 charge for the shipping of the "free 30 day trial sample".

I would also like to see the company change their practices which are abusive to the consumer. From comments on the Revdex.com website and other consumer websites I am not the only victim of this company. I am a senior citizen and cannot afford to pay for something I don't want and that proved harmful. Please help me get my money back from this unscrupulous company.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have not received the product to return to the business. Lumare Skim advised I had 14 days from date of order - August 22, 2015 - to cancel my order, which would be September 5th 2015. Lumare will not let me cancel this order until it is received, and if I do not cancel it within the 14 day trial period they will charge me full price - not the free trial rate.

Review: Lumare skin care offers their product for a trial price plus shipping. As you continue on website, they add an additional product plus another shipping price that you cannot undo even if you click no. The total price came up to $28.00.I was mad but figured I would try the product for that price. My original purchase was on July 1, 2015. On July 15, 2015, my credit card company alerted me about fraudulent charges pending. The company was now trying to charge me $98.71 for one item and $89.77 for another item. [redacted] from [redacted] and I contacted the company together and they claimed they could only reduce the price by 50 percent because I did not cancel within the 14 day trial period. It was the fourteenth day because I called my original order in after 10:00 p.m. on July 1, 2015.The conference call was made July 15, 2015 around 10:00 a.m. She would not allow us to speak with a supervisor. I agreed to the 50% reduction because [redacted] said If I checked the agree button I could be obligated to pay the full amount. Here's where it gets sketchy. A box comes up that you agree with the terms of shipping by checking it. Somewhere in that fine print it states that this is a trial. However, a week later I got a phone call to add something on for a dollar that would give me future discounts on all types of products. They say that this if a trial and you could cancel any time within 14 days and would not be obligated to future charges. I told them no I did not want to do that. They have since refunded half of the $89.77 and of the $98.71. I think I should get a full refund because I did technically cancel within 14 days and paid the original $28.00 I agreed to pay. They also say you can return it for a full refund if your not happy with their product. However, if you tell them that you want to return it, they tell you that if it has been opened you cannot return it. That's funny, how can you try a product without opening it? I think people should be aware of their unethical business practices.Desired Settlement: I think my original $28.00 should be all they get and they should refund the remainder of the additional charges they try to scam out of people. Worst company I ever had dealings with. If they had a good product it would sell itself they wouldn't have to cheat people. I am thoroughly disgusted with this company.

Dear [redacted],,

Review: I got a call from these people offering a free trial of their product. I was only to be charged $4.89 for postage. My account was charged the proper amount on 2/27/15.

On 3/12/15 my account was charged $89.71 from this vendor. I immediately called them and secured a refund with a confirmation number 2610752407. The pending charge was taken off yesterday. Today my account was again charged $89.71 which overdrew my checking account causing a $35.00 over draft charge. My Husband and I live on Social Security only. I don't any extra money to spend on this kind of thing. I only said ok because there was only a small charge for shipment.Desired Settlement: I will send the remaining product back if the vendor gives me a Return authorization number.

Review: Company claims 14 day trial however, they do not honor it with 100% refund of their auto charge i.e. Ordered 8/29 received @ PO box 9/2, called on 9/13 (chg'd on 9/11 which is only 10 days) offered only 75% refund, claimed that they ALWAYS win if a depute is issued, that they usually don't give more than 40% refund on (98.71 + 88.71). Customer service is very rude, and no one seemed to care that product broke my face out. They do not seem to be concerned with complaints about either of their trial offer products. According to supervisor, they do not give 100% refunds at all.

Review: I first clicked onto Lumare Skin care from a face book link and believed that [redacted] endorsed these products as there were Images of [redacted] and numerous positive reviews posted on 11/27/14. After agreeing to the free trial and paid shipping via credit card, within 30 days, I was charged with approx. $360 for two of their products. Lumare advertised that by paying shipping, you receive a free 30 day supply trial. But in reality, on 12/11/14, I was charged $179.88 ($89+ each) and 12/27/14 with second shipment and charges of $179.88. As with the trial products, I stopped using them within a week since it irritated my eyes. Both shipments were received without any shipping slip/contact info and although I tried looking online was not able to locate any number to call. Only until I received my credit card statement was I able to locate a number, unfortunately according to Lumare, by then it's too late to cancel the trial. Since my credit card payment was due, I was advised to placed a dispute and as a result, Lumare then refused to take back their products and charged me the second shipment that I want to return at half price.I believe this company is designed to take advantage of online internet consumers. shortly after I placed the order, I can no longer locate the original advertisements and claims that convinced me to the trial. The "Free 30 day supply trial" and was misleading because there is a "14 day cancellation requirement" that supposedly was stated on the "term and conditions". The fact I disputed the charges through my credit card also disqualified me to return and was charged at half price for auto-refill products that I didn't want or opened. In dispute process, Lumare also submitted "falsified" documentations such as shipping slips that they claimed to enclosed (I still have one unopened box from second shipment as proof); online email billing/charges (I searched my entire account and never received any emails) and a "partial and selected" cancellation conversation log.Desired Settlement: I was deceived to agreed to a trial with products that I didn't want in the first place (believed it was endorsed by [redacted] with debunk images and reviews that no longer exist) and was not provided with adequate information to product charges, cancellation requirements and access or opportunities to cancel. If this is a legitimate and useful skin care products as it claimed, then the product should sell itself! I want to return all your unused trial and unopened products and receive my money back

Review: I went for the free trial. Paid the shipping and got the lotion. I looked for anything that said that I would be charged more on the offer. There was nothing. I checked the box and the contents for any written indication that I would be charged more or that they would automatically ship me more and charge me. There was one card boasting the product, but no indication of additional charges or shipments. Then I received a call from the fraudulent activity department for my credit card. This company pushed through two charges. I did not agree to pay anything other than the shipping for the sample they were sending me.Desired Settlement: If the charges go through on my card, I would like a full refund. If the credit card company was able to stop the charges I would like the account to be $0.00.

It was canceled on the 25th of August.

The 21st is 10 days from the order date and fewer from the actual

delivery date and start of trying the product.

What happened to the 15 day that they advertised? That is unsatisfactory. It appears that this companies definition of

free trial has nothing to do with an actual free trial. .

Regards,

Review: Lumare Skin posted an add on my FaceBook page for their Anti-Age Serum stating a Risk Free Trial, pay only the $5.95 shipping. Foolishly I signed up and at that time they offered a Risk Free Trial of their Eye Cream for an additional shipping fee of $5.95. I was charged the Eye cream $5.95 on July 4, 2015 from an address in Il, US and the $5.95 for the Face Serum on July 6, 2015 from an addres in KY, US. The two items were shipped together and arrived with the product leaking out of both containers. The products are not at all what they claim to be. There was only a packing slip with the product, no invoice, no instructions and certainly no mention of an auto-ship contract. Today, July 17, 2015, I noticed two pending charges from Lumare, one for the eye cream, $89.77 and the other charge of $98.71 for the serum. I called Lumare immediately, and a person called Minday informed me that I should have read the fine lines when I ordered the Risk Free Trial becasue I signed up for Auto-Ship and I had 14 days to inform them that I wanted to cancel. I told her to cancel me immediately and to reverse the charges immediatley because I was under the 14 days and I did not want to receive anymore of their product. She told me the only thing she could do for me was to reimburse me 50% of the charge and I would have to send the product back to them at Lumare Skin Return, PO BOX 25380, Santa Ana, CA 92799, but I would be charged a restocking fee of $9.95 per product. I informed her that I was going to contact my credit card company to put a stop payment, and she told me that they would be unable to do that since Lumare could prove that I had agreed to the charges. I told Mindy that I would be submitting a complaint to the Revdex.com because of their unethical business practices. I have contacted my credit card company about the charges. It is interesting to me that they have many web addresses, phone numbers and billing addresses.Desired Settlement: I want to be sure that this company does not scam other people out of their money. They need to be upfront and let people know what the true cost will be if you do not cancel by a certain date. This information should be included with the mailing of the RISK FREE TRIAL! I know I looked on the site before buying to see what the product would cost me if I liked it and wanted to order more, but I could not find information. I then expected to get information with the product but did not!

Response:

Dear [redacted]:Thank you for contacting us. We appreciate the opportunity to help you.During the trial period a customer has the privilege of using a product for the cost of shipping and handling. After the trial period has expired, the customer is charged for the full price of the product. Thereafter, automatic shipments are sent out and charged to the customer every month, eliminating the need to remember to reorder their favorite product. A customer is not obligated to continue automatic shipments and can request cancellation at any time. Please accept this email as confirmation that your account was cancelled effective July 17, 2015.Please note that we are not able to stop product orders that may have shipped or payments processed prior to or on the effective date of your account cancellation. And, because it can take a few days for your credit card company or bank to post payments processed before your account cancellation, your statement may show a payment made after the above effective date.We are to help you with your refund question. After taking a look at your account, I've verified that a refund was issued to you on July 21, 2015 of $89.77 Trans-ID: [redacted] and $98.71 Trans-ID: [redacted],Refunds are made to the source of the original payment, and processing generally takes 4 to 5 business days. We suggest that you contact your bank or credit card company directly to inquire as to when you can expect this refund to show up in your account.Thank you for the opportunity to assist you.Sincerely,[redacted]Email Support CenterLumare Skin Products ?
