Cardpool advertises that they will purchase valid gift cards from a variety of vendors, and pay via check or *** gift cardI sold American Airlines gift cards for $I was promised $for both cards (transactions #*** #***) within one business dayIt has been several days, Cardpool has not paid me nor have they responded to several emails, Tweets, and voicemails

I brought a online gift card from this company in December I received the gift card through my email but I did not receive the pin number for this gift cardI have repeatedly emailed them to let them know that I have not received the pin numberAfter sending emails I still have not received a response

Advertising, shady risk analysis team, fake promotional codes and events, terrible customer service Problem Date: 3/21/Purchase Date: 3/21/Sales Reps: *** and *** Payment Amount: $Payment method: Credit Card Tried placing an order for an electronic Target gift card on their websiteUsed their advertised promo code of: ***Placed the order, got the order details in my email, then had my order promptly canceled because I was "deemed" a "risk" by their risk analysis team, with no given explanationTried reaching out to their customer service team only to receive replies with no answers or resolutionsTried placing the order twice after, both times got cancelled againNo real explanation given yet againCan't even purchase their products

I sold a $*** gift card to Cardpool over a week agoThey said my payment would be complete after 1-business daysI checked my account everyday and saw a pending payment from Cardpool for the past weekNow there is no pending payment on my account statements and I did not receive my moneyCustomer service WILL NOT email be back and I am a struggling college student so this money was literally going to pay my electric billThis is absolutely insane, something needs to be done about this business I've read, after my transaction with them, that several other people have had their money stolen from them and never received payment for their cards, even though the cards sold do not have money on them anymore

On 1/1/2018, I submitted a $*** *** gift card in exchange for a $checkCardpool provided Offer #***To date, I have not received a check for this gift card and they have not responded to my emailsThere is no phone number to contact themThe status of this check on my account, has shown shipped for the past months

Very shady operationSold me a digital gift card code that was not redeemableTheir guarantee for "any gift card" does not apply to digital or mobile gift cards, only physical cardsSo I spent $for a code that could not be redeemedCustomer service refused to help because their terms of service allow them to take my money and deliver non-redeemable gift cards

Cardpool says it takes a business day to sell them a card online After waiting days, I gave up and canceled If you can't timely complete a transaction then don't do it in the first place Not being able to electronically pay you is another negative but to be fair Cardpool does explicitly mention that payment would be a mailed check Unfortunately, given the fact that I waited business days and it was still "in review" when I canceled then we are looking at over a week to get this transaction completed Too long for me Also a nice feature assuming that it worked is that Cardpool said it didn't need the physical card to complete the transaction

I received an iPhone as a Christmas gift from my employer I didn't need the phone, so I decided to return it to Apple in exchange for a gift card After a few purchases at Apple, I ended up still having over $on the gift card I decided to look to sell the cardI came across several websites, with CARDPOOL seeming to get the best reviews However, my decision to use CARDPOOL was not an easy one Among the reviews were also several negative reviews of people claiming fraudI became extremely reluctant to give it a go After all, when selling your gift card, you're asked to take a leap of faith by providing your gift card details before receiving payment! I emailed CARDPOOL asking for some reassurance This was the week of December 18, 2017, the week before ChristmasIn the meantime, because I did not like to idea of giving up my gift card details on-line with a leap of faith, I decided to first try a CARDPOOL "cashier assisted location" which I found from their website This attempt was a bust I went to a Target that CARDPOOL listed on their site as a "cashier assisted location," only to find out at the Target that they no longer provided this service Didn't give me a great feelingNext, I decided to try one of CARDPOOL's kiosks I again used their site, this time to locate a Stop-And-Shop in my area that supposedly had a CARDPOOL kiosk At the Stop-And-Shop, I did find the kiosk and was extremely impressed by the kiosk It was located right by the customer service counter, and sat next to one of those Redbox dvd kiosks The CARDPOOL kiosk looked brand new, was extremely user friendly, and was flanked by VISA gift cards hanging on either side of it It looked legit, and this made me feel a lot better about using CARDPOOL I went through the beginning process of selling my Apple gift card to the CARDPOOL kiosk, but in the end decided not to because the offer given by the kiosk was several hundred dollars less than the amount the CARDPOOL website offered This actually made sense to me I walked away feeling reassuredA day or so after visiting the kiosk, I received a return email response from CARDPOOL customer service, apologizing for the delay, and doing their best to ease my worries by siting several outlets and publications positively reviewing their businessBased on my experience at the kiosk, the email from CARDPOOL, and having visited their Facebook page and seeing that it was pretty active, I decided to take the leap!
I sold my Apple gift card to CARDPOOL via their website They offered me 90% of the card value: a great deal in my eyes! Immediately after completing the sale, I received a confirmation email from CARDPOOL stating that they would mail me a check within one business day of verifying my gift card; they said they would send me an email once the card was verified After about 2-days, I hadn't heard anything I emailed customer service Within hours, I received an email response again apologizing for the delay (stating they were extremely busy due to the Christmas holiday), but also letting me know that because of the high value of my gift card, I had been placed on their phone call verification list and I should receive a call from CARDPOOL within hours The next day CARDPOOL called me and asked several questions about myself and the gift card At the end of the call, the CARDPOOL rep thanked me for my time and told me he would give my information back to the team for processing and that I should receive another email within hours with final confirmation of the sale I did indeed I received the email confirmation the next day, stating that my card had been verified and I should receive my check within 3-business days I received the check from CARDPOOL business days after that email, and I deposited the check into my account with no issuesI give CARDPOOL stars -- and I'd give them more if I could! Though my initial attempt to sell the card at Target was a bust, everything after that, aside from my nerves, was smooth sailing on the part of CARDPOOL All it took on my behalf was a little patience Best of all, I have money in my account instead of an Apple gift card that I probably would have no use for for several years to come Thank you, CARDPOOL!!!

I purchased four Chipotle gift cards from Cardpool.com in 2016, all within month period when Cardpool guaranteed the value of the cardsUnfortunately, I found out that these four cards were inactivated and had zero balance on the cards in December I first emailed Cardpool's customer service on 12/16/but got no responseSince then I have emailed three more times without any reply from CardpoolThey have no phone numbers listed on their website so I tried looking up their number on the internetI called three times and left messages but again have no success in having anyone returning my callsThese gift cards are supposed to have $on each cardI spent almost $purchasing these bogus cards and I would like to have my money back

I use to buy all the time from them and never had any problemI bought several gift cards online and two of them did not workI lost $I emailed many times and sent picturesI even called and never did I get a responseIf you call you have to leave a messageThey will not call or email back so if you buy beware that your gift card is non refundable which is not written on their site

I sought to trade $worth of Home Depot gift cards for *** gift cards totaling $The transaction was made on 5/23/Because of the high amount, Cardpool sought to speak with me to verify the validity of the transactionWe spoke via phone 5/24/After our discussion I was told the gift cards would be issued in 24-hoursThe gift cards were issued later that night on 5/24/in separate gift cards - the first for $and the second for $To my surprise, the second $gift card had already been used on ***At this point my frustrations really took offI was first issued a second e-mail with the same failed $gift card number on 5/I brought this to their immediate attentionOn 5/they asked for me to verify that the card had been deniedThe immediately sent a screen grab showing the failed attemptI was then told that it was my problem and I should deal with *** directly*** has verified that neither I nor anyone associated with me r

I sent a store card to Cardpool on January 1st, after making arrangements for them to directly buy my card It is now January 26th and I have yet to have a response back and have not received a check for that purchase I have called the number two times and e-mailed them twice and have received no response Poor business as far as I am concerned!!!!

traded in gift cards from *** for an offer to get *** gift card instanly, after giving them the card info and my bank info, and completing the transaction i'm told business day, today makes business days and they called me to ask where I got my cards from and told me business dayadvertising at least if not a breech of contract

Google search it: you can find hundreds of reviews by real people Good places to start are ***, *** and maybe ***All of the good reviews, including the reddit article that is a top hit, are ALL many years oldLong story short, do NOT do business with these people

Sent in a physical restaurant gift card in exchange for an *** gift card, company has simply taken my gift card, I have received nothing in returnThis company has simply stolen my gift card and seems to have absolutely no intent to return it or to make the exchange originally agreed upon

I listed several giftcards with Cardpool recentlyI double checked each and every card balance before I listed my cardsCardpool has completely wiped the balance off of two of my cardsThere is *** *** giftcard which had an initial value of $and an ***'s giftcard which had an initial value of $Both of these cards now read at zero balanceI expect Cardpool to refund the money they took from my cards or to honor the original agreed upon sales price for my cardsThe *** *** card was listed twice: the first offer number was *** and it was cancelled by cardpool for an unknown reasonI assumed it was because I had listed too many cards at onceSo a few days later, I listed the card again with offer number ***This was denied for having a zero balance which should not be the caseThe ***'s card was listed twice: the first offer number was *** and it was cancelled by cardpool for an unknown reasonI assumed it was because I had listed too many card
