Dear Sirs: I recently employed Master Movers, a crew of three lead my "***", to load my entire four bedroom house of furniture into my rental van, which I drove to our new home in Virginia The crew was very polite and professional, and they finished ahead of the allotted time; but best of all, was that when we unloaded in Virginia, nothing was broken or damagedand I mean NOTHING Bravo to those guys I would and will recommend Master Mover to anyone who is in need of such service Job Well Done ! I used Master Movers services on October 16, since then, I've been postponing this review, but I really wanted to write it because I was so happpy with their service that they deserve a great review for a great workAll my stuff arrived in time and in perfect conditions, thank you bros!!

Dear Revdex.com,Mr [redacted] booked his job on 7/30/the attached reflects the estimate that was sent to him, which spells out the charges for services included for moveWe understand that there is alot of information that is given to customers when booking a move and this is why we email an Order for Service that spells out all of the chargesThe information sent to Mr [redacted] on 7/30/spelled out everything including the travel charge which is standard in the industryMr [redacted] did not opt to cancel his move until days after the booking which is well past the hr requirement for cancellationsPer the Cancellation policy this customer is not eligible for a refund on the depositWe thank the Revdex.com for assisting in resolving the customers issuesSincerely,Master Movers

[redacted] Last but not least, the foreman and I went over everything on the contract, I had everything separated even, Rodney knew the game plan, we counted every piece and I helped Rodney wrap stuff and carry bar stools down and the couchThey did not move ten pieces, they moved, my bed, my daughter's dresser, her bed and the tv standWe moved bar stools, both bed frames and the couchSo, how are they coming up with ten pieces? Second, the boxes...They did not move any boxers...*** [redacted] , [redacted] *** and [redacted] , moved all boxes for [redacted] *** They moved some boxes for me, but not all of them because while at the [redacted] moving me in, my husband again, had to step in while I listened to the Foreman on the phone with whomever, again, charging me another $for the paperwork chaosPlus, we were supposed to get money back for any supplies we did not useThey used my tape because the foreman told [redacted] and I he would have to be charged for itI said, no, it states in the contract we prepaid for tape, I showed him...We still used mine, but we did not use seven rolls of theirs or any of their boxes [redacted] got boxes from his workHave we seen a refund for that NOThe only thing they used was mattress covers, but than that is really not true because the mattress cover that was supposed to be on my bed was off before it even made it to my apartmentI have no idea what happened to it I do not know how to get this resolved, but Master Movers is lyingDEAD LYINGI hate saying that, but they did not move everything they stated in the emailAnd again, I will be happy to have [redacted] , ***, [redacted] and even [redacted] can state what was going onShe had to come up to my apartment several times and ask what was going on with the freight elevatorI have emails to Linda regarding the time restrainsts which I have attachedI probably could dig up more, if necessary, but I feel we were treated unfairlyPlease let me know what you need from me Regards, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com, The below is the response sent to the customer regarding the complaint made with their service Dear Mrand Mrs***, Per our conversation earlier Mrs***, first let me again apologize for any inconvenience caused to you on the day of your moveThe moving documents were given to a supervisor to reveiw, along with the notes of the conversation with Mrs*** had and the notes per the dispatcher and foreman on the jobThe supervisor recognizes that your non-binding estimate was for a total of hrs (hrs of labor, 3hrs of packing to be done, 2hrs for an additional stop plus the travel time of hr and any packing materials used)The contract shows to be opened at 12pm and closed at 9.30pm, per your estimate you had a arrival window of 7am - 1pm then the dispatcher sent you an email that the team was going to be arriving to you anywhere from 7am - 11pm (this latter window of arrival time is a courtsey timeframe as we try to get the window narrowed for you in the AM), however according to the contract the arriving crew was not late (however we do apologize for any misunderstanding in the arrival timeframe windows)Per the notes from the conversation today, Mrs*** stated that Mr [redacted] directed the crew to not pack anything, yet the Packing Materials form shows that the crew did perform minimal packing services in the amount of $211, due to the foreman not charging you the hourly rate of the $for the service he saved you money by charging you per the pieces completedThe information from the foreman shows that upon his arrive he informed you (Mrs***) of the move going over and in speaking to Mr [redacted] he would or already had a U-haul truck and bought some packing supplies for the jobMr [redacted] also stated that he did not need the crew to go to the storage unit or do any of the packing as his wife would be doing thatPer the foreman when he spoke Mr [redacted] for the second time during the move it was expressed that the crew was waiting on certain items (found inside the dresser and in the china cabinet) to be packed as they were breakables and it was reiterated to him that the crew was not to pack anything his wife was going to be doing it, so the drawers were taken out of the dresser to allow Mrs [redacted] to pack themThe foreman stated they never did get packedDue to the injured crew member your account has been adjusted $and the packing labor charges were adjusted in the rating to reflect it per piece and not per hourIn the review given at the end of the move the only complaint given was that "one of the movers hurt himself and wasn't able to help the other two with putting our furniture back together" this indicates that it was towards the end of the move that the crew member was unable to helpDue to the fact that you only wanted one trip with the crew and had a full truck, the crew had not other choice but to leave certain item(s) behindDue to the full estimated timeframe not being used we can always get you back on schedule for the original price at your booking (as you had a promotional price of $95/hr) if you still needed to have items movedPer the supervisor he stated that you understood your move was large and was going to take some time and in trying to save some money you changed a few things you wanted to have the crew do which is completely at your discretionWe appreciate you choosing Master Movers for your relocation needs and please let us know if you need anything else**Mrs***'s request of a refund for $has been given to the supervisor for review." We could not have been more disappointed with our experience with Master Movers They are dishonest, unprofessional, and unresponsive to callsWe tried very hard to resolve our dispute with respect to overcharges with them, but they are completely impossible to deal with I struggle to think of another time when I have been this frustrated with a company We are considering legal action at this time

This business is the worst moving company I have ever seenThey never follow through on anything and lie about everything and will not return a phone callI have been waiting since last Sunday for my furniture and I'm still waiting even though it was supposed to be here this morning

Dear Revdex.com,According to the estimate sent to the customer he was to have items, with a hr estimate of labor hoursPer the moving documents the customer ending up having items over the amount given at the time of booking, which brought his item count to itemsWhich of course will
take more time especially to protect everything neededPer the estimate given to the customer he had some packing materials considered to be pre-sold and additional materials needed (as there were more items being moved)Per the notes in the system it is not notated that the customer called in to say the crew was having any issues with maneuvering any of his itemsWe do understand that there can be issues on the day of the move and had we been notified of the progress we could have given some instructions to the crew to helpAll of our movers are screened put thru various training and orientation sessionsA claim form has been emailed to customer and call placed to alert him of the formPer a further review of the moving documents by a supervisor the customer was charged correctly for amount of items and time usedWe will handle the customers claim issues as soon as we receive it in.As always we thank the Revdex.com for assisting in resolving the customers issues.Sincerely,Master Movers

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I already received the claim form on December 30, 2014, the day following my move I submitted the claim form to them and they received it on January 7, via certified mail My reference number for the claim was assigned to me by Master Movers as Claim Reference #***?, so there is no need to send me the claim form, I clearly have already submitted the claim, I just need them to process and finish the claim that I already submitted and send me SOMETHING I have been told numerous times this would be processed and absolutely nothing has been done at this point It is clear I am getting no where with this process as Master Movers doesn't even acknowledge they have received my claim.

Dear Revdex.com,Mr***'s move was in a troubled area for us and an agreement was met in which the customer chose to come pick up his shipments (since he was going to be in Indiana)This agreement also involved a revising of the charges for only the work that had been done (pick up / packing)
which left a credit on his account to be issuedUnfortunately the supervisor who approves all refunds was in and out of the office a lot last weekHowever, now that it has been confirmed by the customer which credit card he wants the refund to be placed on the billing department will issue the credit promptly. The news of the customer feeling he needed to file a compliant with the Revdex.com has also been sent to the supervisorWe will get the refund issued as soon as possibleAgain, we thank the Revdex.com for assisting in resolving the customers issuesSincerely,Master Movers

Contracted with Master Movers for our relocation They loaded our belongings on their truck in mid November We didn't receive them at our new residence until mid-December Fortunately, we drove down with enough items in our van (laptop, pots and pans, coffee maker, Aerobed, etc.) to maintain our household until their truck FINALLY arrived
After they unloaded our personal goods, we found some items were damaged, some were missing They even tried to give us an item that didn't belong to us Anyone missing a nice, 5-gallon gas can?
They broke the tail light on my motorcycle while they were unloading it They damaged my compressor when they dropped it off the truck I noted the damages to the movers and they told us that they would report them to the main office
Per instructions, I submitted a claim to Master Movers for the damages and missing items (@ $400) They denied my claim due to the fact that THEIR workers, who offloaded the truck at my new residence, did not report any damages as they had promised How is this my problem??? I can't help the fact that their hired help is either lazy, incompetent or both
In addition, we found out much later that several items (not reported on our original claim) were damaged due to mold during the month-long storage in their warehouse
Anyway, Master Movers has locations across the U.Sso be careful I certainly will never use them again I would suggest the same advice to you
