Tiffany from Master Movers called me yesterday and said she was calling about the complaint we filed with the Revdex.comI have been in contact with Tiffany over the past year and a half on numerous occasions as I reminded herShe said she was sorryShe claimed a check had been sent outI asked her when and she claimed in October. She asked me for my credit card information I told her I wasn't comfortable giving it to her after all the run arounds I have hadShe verified that she had my correct addressShe said she would put a stop on the check immediately and call me right backIt has been over hours and she still has not gotten back to meUnfortunately over the course of the past almost years whenever you call or email them they claim it has already been sent outI heard that over the claim, that I would get it in a week then a month later , they would say we will mail it out today, etcI have found they say whatever they think will satisfy you at the momentWe still have received no refundThe offer they made us was totally an insult and should have showed us what kind of business we were dealing withWe really just want this behind us and don't want anyone else to fall prey to their poor business practices

Unlike some other movers, Master Movers gave me a quote for a move from Indiana to Virginia I was warned by other people that Master Movers would take a long time to make my move and raise the price with additional charges That is exactly what they did Their initial quote was for $ After the truck was loaded they said they needed an additional $due to the fact that my load took up cu ft more space in their truck than was quoted to me and they had to build additional cardboard boxesThe boxes cost me $and a partial roll of tape cost $ After an hour on the phone with several people, I agreed to their final quote of $That is a 62% increase or $821...ridiculous The customer service rep who gave me the quote said they could have the load delivered in days...it actually took them days

Enclosed are documents relating to my complaint against Master MoversI have highlighted important things on each documentMaster Movers had started that all their crew members were employees and they were a national company with facilities throughout the USA at the time of their quotationHowever, in an email, the customer service states that only the administration staff are employees and the drivers/loaders are subcontractorsMaster Movers did not handle our shipment from the origin to the destination as they statedThey brokered the shipment out to unprofessional people who made me sign receipt of all items before shipment was offloadedI filed a claim which is enclosed and calculated cents per lbMaster Movers have indicated that they will only pay for one desk (two desks were destroyed) and two endtablesThey are refusing to pay for the other damaged items and missing itemsPlease note the several inventory line items that are unmarked as received as well as the items marked damagedMaster Movers lied about their company operations and provided documentation/ads to support heir falsehoodsMy inventory of damaged goods totaling $plus the wall damage of $should be accepted because of the damage and their misrepresentationAnd they should be reprimanded for their advertising falsehoodsPlease help settle this claim with Master MoversThank you.Sincerely,

They were freaking awesome! I was in a time crunch and needed to move the same day I called themThey got me scheluded, out of my old apartment on time (which was on the third floor), and even put my suit cases in the trunkThey also got done in less than the quoted timeI will probably use them again to move my things out of storage

I chose to leave a neutral ratingInterestingly enough, I found the movers to be more courteous and understanding than the customer service agentsI made a full payment in good faith that I would receive the services that I was promised and expectedGiven between 2-4pm as the scheduled arrival time, I received a phone call every hour on the hour to let me know that the wait time has increased by at least 2-hoursThe gentleman who informed me was very professional but needless to say, I was not a happy customer by the time he told me it would not be until between 8-9pm that the movers would arriveI was patient up until this pointHe explained to me that the customer scheduled before had not disclosed all items to be moved and they would not leave their customer strandedAlthough I agreed with this stance, I wondered how they could satisfy one paying customer to disappoint another exact paying customerNot sure how this became my problem at this point but he asked if I wanted to move my scheduled date to SundayI planned the schedule strictly for this move as it was right before the holidays and I had to go out of state for a previous engagementAlthough the company ended up obliging, it was not until 830pm that they fulfilled the services in which I paidI emailed the sales representative *** whom was very persistence in follow up for booking the move initially was now non-responsiveI was passed around times to finally end up at "customer service." I asked the lady if this was frequent that schedules were moved to the next day and she said it just depended on the situationShe was neither friendly nor understanding and stated she would relay my dismay to the companyI did advise her that I'd be posting my commentsAlthough not out right rude, her tone was evidently annoyed as was IAt the end, she slammed the phoneCustomer service is a rarity these days and I've never been one to voice my opinion on these websites but felt impelled to do so on this occasion

Dear Revdex.com,Per the Ms*** moving documents I do not show that she called in with these issues to alert us so we could handle them immediatelyIn a careful review of her documents she stated in her wrap up form that yes there was damage to certain items and property (however she also
listed these items as an inherent risk item due to where they were coming out of thus releasing Master Movers of any damage should it occur)I also see that she signed a wrapping waiver which states she did not want her items wrapped as standard in the moving industry and her packing materials form also confirm this as she was only charged for mattress coversWe are sorry to hear of her experience and will get her claim processed and sent to herWe understand in the moving industry there are issues and this is why we have the claims processNow that we have these details of Ms*** experience we will take them back to our training session and use them to further our movers in their knowledge of being professionals in the moving industryMaster Movers has been in business for over years and we when we fall short of the giving 100% we take it very seriousAgain, we will get Ms*** claim resolved and sent out to her.Thank you,Master MoversMgmnt

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Stating that the issue has been plagued with multiple(two) contractors was Master Movers fault by not having one contractor fix all the damages they had done to the propertyYes, *** is busy, but when your company has done something wrong - you are responsible in fixing itNever did I get a pone call from the company firstI had to constantly call or e-mail to make sure things were moving along - which they never wereI understand that the billing department is only there twice a month; I however, was never told thatI still do not think that mattersOn Oct28th I had e-mail *** stating that *** would take the check and *** responded by giving the documents necessary to move forwardThe document was sent to Master Movers on Nov 13thI feel as though the billing department had plenty of notice and still NOTHING has been done. This has been the worst experience with a business I've ever hadFrom the beginning with having a smaller truck than I asked for to getting my furniture damaged - I didn't say anythingHowever, the fiasco with the damaged gutters and tiles has been the icing on the cakeThe fact that this matter has gone on for half a year is beyond meI have no idea how this company is still runningI need this matter to get resolved right now Regards,*** ***

They were amazing! These movers really move fast, were polite, careful with my belongings, listened to my requests, much less expensive that the big name movers, and I will be highly recommending them to others

No items where broke
movers where very fast, strong, and courteous

I had good service from beginning to end! I have recommended them before and would definitely do it again!

The sales rep and coordinator *** *** was very good and very thorough The man crew was hard working however the 4th person who was supposedly there to supervise and translate was shadyHe followed me from room to room, talked about inappropriate topics and how he locked one customer in his car because he had an issue with themHe didn't do what he was there to do....supervise! If it wasn't for my husband being there I would have felt very uncomfortable *** quoted me a guaranteed price, plus some supplies to move our TVs We ended up moving our TVs the night before therefore no need for supplies, however we were still charged, plus we were charged additional for time When I showed the quote the supervisor he told me no I owed more I contacted *** at the office and she told me to forward her my email from ***, which I didShe never called backThe supervisor still insisted I owedI felt very uncomfortable and just wanted them to leave so I paid $cash in addition to the $deposit I feel this was purposeful intimadation and was very calculated by the supervisor

I had a bit of a smaller move but with a large percentage of breakables The crew were very polite and meticulous about wrapping the items Right on the time frame they saidQuote exactly as charged I would recommend for your next Indy area move
