Per the Supervisor he expressed to Mr. [redacted] on one of their previous phone calls that the shipment would be running late, utilizing the 21 days timeframe. Unfortunately, in the trucking industry there are delays and we are working diligently to get the shipment moving to Mr....

[redacted]. It was expressed to Mr. [redacted] that compensation for his late delivery will be issued as soon as the moving documents are received back in the office. 
We understand that the delivery not being made in a timely manner is creating a hardship on the customer and we most definitely apologize, however we are working diligently to get the shipment confirmed on the road for him with an ETA for delivery. We do expect to have this for him asap.

Simply the same cut and paste reply to my [redacted] review. The facts are these. I had to call the business five times before the company responded to my call.
1. If it is common for people to underestimate the size of their move as the owner claims, whey don't they measure what is to be loaded before putting it on the truck and telling you that you are over the sf of your estimate. 2. They did not indicate during the estimate process that a bed or any piece of furniture taken a part would count as 'additional' pieces.
3. Benjamin forgets that we had a 45 minute phone conversation, I can provide the phone bill if necessary. To say I did not take the opportunity to try and resolve the complaint is patently false. 
4. If the Revdex.com wants to retain it's reputation as an advocate of 'good business' I would suggest you look at the [redacted] reviews for Master Movers. All of them report essentially the same problem. What are the odds that 12 customers could be wrong and the owner be right. If Master Movers is a member of the Revdex.com I would seriously reconsider your membership standards. 
5. His claim of showing the paper signed upon delivery with no damaged goods is ludicrous. Of course he's showing a signed document now, because my daughters boy friend refused to sign the blank document until the furniture was unloaded. Why would he expect we would have a blank document to support our claim? Our furniture was essentially held hostage on the truck and until my daughter boy friend insisted he was not signing the document until the truck was unloaded did they remove the furniture. This is tantamount to blackmail. 
6. He has no knowledge of any conversation with the foreman or dispatcher that I had on the night of the move? No knowledge? First, he does as we talked about it at length during our phone conversation. Does he mean to say he is unable to ask the dispatcher or foreman on the move that night what happened? Are they no longer employed by Master Movers? If not, he should be easily able to get the info from them.
7. As I said, there were also late, and did not packing of any kind, though they charged us for packing. Look at the other customer complaints on [redacted] and other sites and decide whom to believe. I am also sure this is not the first complaint you've received about this business.]

This business is the worst moving company I have ever seen. They never follow through on anything and lie about everything and will not return a phone call. I have been waiting since last Sunday for my furniture and I'm still waiting even though it was supposed to be here this morning.

We can not accept his claim for the damage as all of that will be handled by Movinginsurance.com. His request for a compensation on the late...

Hey guys!I shifted just a month ago and I saved myself from any shifting hassles because thankfully one of my good friends told me about the packing and moving industry moreover he specially mentioned the name of Master Movers as he had himself availed their services and was quite boastful about them. Good gracious I'm so glad that I chose them, they made the whole shifting thing so easy! They are so advanced at what they do and have an energetic, organised and ready to listen staff. I'm pretty sure I'll choose for next time I shift. Guys choose Master Movers and have a content experience.

The issue has been plagued with not only multiple contractors but a situation that turned into a bigger one, this issue was not a simple fix. The homeowner lives a busy life and some of the delay in completing this process had to do with scheduling around...

her. The situation has been resolved and the needed payment will be sent to the homeowner as soon as possible. Our billing department had a check cut  to pay the contractor and the homeowner decided she did not want the particular contractor to do the work so he has opted to hire a company at a more expensive price to do the work. We are covering our portion of the estimate given to us and sending it to the homeowner. I have explained to the customer that the billing department is only in twice a month so changes unfortunately prolong the process, however the payment will be sent now that all has been resolved.

I totally agree that the information is only as good as what the customer can give us.  That is why I provided an extremely accurate inventory list – not a single item was added the day of the move or was unexpected.  Again, I was only 2 items over the count because THE MOVERS decided to take apart the dining room table, not me.  So what was 1 item on the inventory list became 3 items, and therefore we were 2 items over.  It was the choice of the movers to add the 2 additional items when they took apart the table.   Again, I am questioning how by providing an extremely accurate inventory list to a professional moving company, the professional moving company can be short on their estimate by over 25% for reserved space.  I was well aware of the $6 per cubic feet of space reservation charged for additional space.  But since I provided such an accurate inventory list with NO ADDITIONAL ITEMS, I was not expecting the professional moving company to be so under (by 100 cubic feet) in their estimation and therefore leaving me with an additional $600 charge, which I had no other option but to pay for.  Was my other option to take out 100 cubic feet of items from the truck on the day of the move even though Master Movers had it documented that those items are included in the inventory list?  What would happen if I didn’t pay for the $600 charge?  I wouldn’t know because no other option was provided to me on the day of the move.   As far as having a supervisor available to talk to about charges on the day of the move, Jamiyl Gilbert (the driver and head mover) called the office to ask about the charges for packing material after I showed him the official agreement from Master Movers with the free packing materials clearly stated on it.  Jamiyl was confused so he called the office.  The office person pulled up the email quote and saw the $0 charge for packing materials too but could not figure out why Master Movers would not be charging for these items.  The only option they gave me was that I had to pay for the packing materials regardless of what was stated on my agreement since Master Movers always charges for those items.  They suggested I pay for it first so the movers can finish and then take it up with billings the next day.  Was I expected not to pay for the charges and have the movers and truck with all my belongings just sit outside in the parking lot until the next day when someone could resolve the issue?  Because no one on the day of the move could explain why I was being charged for something that the official quote says was $0 or was willing to figure it out so the truck could leave.  The ONLY option they gave me was to pay for it and sign off on the paperwork.   Also as far as signing paperwork, I had to do all that with Jamiyl BEFORE the movers could start.  Only the revised estimate and packing material charges was done at the very end when everything was on the truck already.  And those were signed off after Jamiyl talked to the office person who did not have an answer to why I was being charged for packing materials.   In regards to the rating on the survey, I totally still believe the actual men who came out to load and unload the truck were great.  They were courteous, helpful, efficient, and careful with our items.  No arguments there.  Marilyn, the person who provided the initial quote, in the office was also very helpful.  The only other person I spoke with from Master Movers was the dispatcher.  No problems with any of these people, therefore the great ratings.   But no one has been able to explain to me how by providing an accurate inventory list, how I still ended up with a $600 overage charge for reserved space.  What’s the use of getting an estimate if it’s going to be under by over 25% regardless of the accuracy of the inventory list.  All Master Movers keep telling me is that I changed my inventory list and that I had 2 items over.  And I keep explaining that the changes to my inventory list was not unexpected on the day of the move – I emailed Marilyn the final changes 2 days in advance – and the 2 items over is because your movers decided to take apart the dining room table into 3 items instead.   Again, I am not disputing how much space I took up in the truck.  If the items took up 576 cubic feet, it took up 576 cubic feet.    I am questioning how by providing an extremely accurate inventory list to a professional moving company, the professional moving company can be short on their estimate by over 25% for reserved space.

DO NOT USE Master Movers. I can safely say and with 100% conviction state that Master Movers made my moving weekend one of the most stressful times of my life and I have moved seven times in the last 9 years. Everything starts off well in the sales department, or what they refer to as their acquisitions department. During conversations they give you an afternoon time frame of 1pm – 7pm and then clearly state several times that the company would contact you 24 hours prior to that time frame and give you a clearer estimate which is a 2 hour time frame (for example 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm). This DID NOT happen.
I moved on Saturday and did not hear from them on Friday so I called Friday at 11:50 am, 5:22 pm and 5:46 pm. I then received a voicemail at 6:50 pm stating they would be here between 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm which is what I already knew. I called right back and left a voicemail stating that someone needed to call me back to give me that better time frame that they ensured me I would be getting. That DID NOT happen.

Saturday, the day of my move, I still hadn’t heard from them. I called at 1:19 pm and was told someone would call me back. At 4:14 pm I called again since I hadn’t received a phone call. They said again someone would call me back but that they were busy. I received a phone call after 6:00 pm stating that someone may come after 10:00 pm but they couldn’t guarantee that and that the movers may come out Sunday or Monday instead. At 10:00 pm we called again and they said someone may come out after 1:00 am or Sunday or Monday but they could NOT guarantee a time. This company clearly had no intention of assisting with my move even though I had placed a deposit down. In addition, what company allows movers to move after 10:00 pm or even worse, after 1:00 am. I’m not even going to go into the safety concerns and moving concerns associated with that.
I never was given a manager’s contact information and still have not heard back from a manager with an apology that is owed to me; however, they did refund my deposit. BUYER BEWARE with Master Movers. DO NOT USE Master Movers.

Called and had a couple of questions, spoke to customer service; very professional and very helpful! I've never used movers... sounds a lot easier, can't wait! thank you for helping me understand how the process works!

I am very happy with the service I received from Master Movers with my recent move from Indianapolis to the Louisville area. I would use Master Movers again, and would recommend them to anyone I know. The service I received over the phone from [redacted] was great because she answered a lot of questions without pressuring me to commit. The movers [redacted] and [redacted] were polite, friendly, professional, and efficient. The price I expected to pay was the price I paid. I asked questions beforehand to make sure there would not be additional charges. Everything was great, there were no snafus at all, and they do a top-notch job at Master Movers.

This was are first move with Master Movers. Not only did they call to verify our move but they were able to arrive within our very tight window of time that we needed because we had many things going on that day. They were friendly, very professional, and extremely fast at what they do. Even under pressure due to a mixup on the move in address that they recorded from the office which was corrected on their arrival they kept to the quoted time frame and cost. We will more than definatly use them again and recommend them to all our friends and family.

I'm nearly 60 years old and have moved several times before and I'm a Real Estate Broker and wanted to use pro's not child labor. The driver was extremely upsetting, he started the day by calling me 10 mins after I left my home to walk my 2 little dogs, one is 14 years old and the other one is 16 years old. They would be upset staying in the home with all the activity. He started calling me and wanted to go over more charges. I said this is upsetting me, and this is not what I expected. I went over my my 4 rooms I was moving with the person Kyle that took my order, I was very detailed, my bedroom has a king bed, chest, 1 night stand and a TV and chair and ottoman, I ask for wardrobe holders since I can't carry my clothes up and down stairs. I can detail each room for you if needed again. I spoke with several companies and they all seemed about the same cost, but they offered 3 movers and a supervisor. I thought this would go so well. Plus, I still thought I was getting the wonderful company my co worker suggested. I have had good experiences moving every time until now. They should fast and get more done with 4 people, but when they use children to do the work, you get poor results. They did not care about home or items, the put things all over the place and turned my move into a nightmare. In the past 2 men would move my items and the 3rd man would put items together and all I had to do was hang pictures and window treatments. They took no care of my walls, my furniture or my new place which was like new, they painted the walls and trim and it looked brand new. I have hand prints and scrapes on the walls and a toilet I have a plumber coming out to repair. I wish they would have let me know they where not Sherman Movers and proceeded to give a discount of $50.00 on my deposit (very misleading) I wanted a professional team, not untrained children and a supervisor that only wanted to keep asking me for more money and calling his boss for more ways to charge more money. They need to take care of me the customer and take care of my things and property. They should not be even called a business, it's a joke and nightmare for someone needing a professional to help make my move easier with professional help. That's what I do for my clients. Let me know if you need anything else from me, I have had with them. I moved all my food myself, and numerous car loads myself, and still need to go back and get my window rods and curtain panels, and flower pot. They only had 4 rooms and a 1 car garage full on all 3 walls, my car was always in the garage and 2 tiny patio's, 1 with a folding chair and folding table, and one with a chaise and side table. My prior residence was less than 1000 sf, and no appliances or items in refrigerator where taken by the moves. It should have been quick move for them. It's not like I had a large place or any thing like appliances or lawn & snow equipment to move. I would never use this company and will only warn people not to use them. It was a BIG NIGHTMARE.

This company is a horrible company. Would not recommend them to anybody. Broke, and did not deliver over 10 of our items when they delivered to our home. Sent in a claim for damages, and even thought we could prove damages refuse to pay a claim. If these are the kind of business you recommended then you need to get out of the service business. I would not recommend this company to my dog for moving needs.

I was not given any offer that included all the damaged items and missing items.  Their offer was only for one desk and two endtables!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was another desk destroyed, a shelf unit destroyed, mattresses damaged, couch damaged, missing waterhose cart with hose, a chair was destroyed, etc.  All the items were noted in my claim which I have sent to you.
 
Their advertising and salesmen intentionally misrepresented the company and their policies.  And the insurance company is not considering all the damages which was insured for 60 cents per lb per aritcle.  If the article weighed 100 lbs and is missing or destroyed, then it would be $60 insurance on it.  The desk and two end tables warrant more coverage than $102.  $50 was for the hole the delivery people put in our wall.  AND THEY WERE NOT EMPLOYEES OF MASTER MOVERS AS WE WERE TOLD THEY WOULD BE.  The whole contract should actually be refunded as they did not adhere to their sales contract.

I agree with the response regarding the damaged materials and have filed with the insurance company. But I'm assuming that by accepting it means the issue has been resolved, and it has not.I would like to be credited for the requested amount due to the late delivery. The message stated that I would have a response from the company this week.I am rejecting the response until I have been credited and the issue is resolved.

This was our 2nd move within past 7 years and we availed their services after being recommended by a friend and we surely don’t regret it. They were quite responsible since the date we booked them. Contacted us several times. Arrived right on time, packed everything in a professional manner and loaded in their secured vans. All we had to do is to follow them to our new house and unloading was equally easy. Cant thank them enough as they turned a hard task into so much ease.

Advertising is done by the owner of the company and Mrs. [redacted]'s concerns regarding our advertising has been given to him. Unfortunately, all claims are processed and bound by the claims rules and regulations. As you can see the items that were notated at the delivery as either damaged or missing were approved in the claim resolution letter. We again do apologize that Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] had issues at the delivery and we do look to resolve her issues for her via the resolution sent to her.
