Matrix was a great company to work with when we finished our basement. The selection process and financing were easy to navigate. Our project did take some twists and turns with some modifications needed to make everything work, and Matrix was clearly committed to making things right for us. Our project did run a little long, but Matrix was diligent to make sure we finished everything needed before our final walkthrough. We're very pleased with the finished project!

On 09/19/2022 I browsed Matrix on Angi's list and within 10 seconds I received a prompt call to set up a visit to have a rep. to come to the home to assess the project we wanted done. On 09/20/2020 a Gardenia (Nia) Popoca came to see me and the wife to assess and order the project we desired. Gardenia had good good knowledge about the products and was very sincere about addressing our project needs, and obtained a very good cost on the project. The wife and I were very pleased and satisfied about her customer service skills. A big 5 stars and job well done to Gardenia.

Waiting 17 weeks for any date of installation from this company, Alex Cruz, Ops Manger and Christine Lujan, office Mgr. We have given them a $3,000 check in May, 2022 and to date (9/1/2022) have not heard from them as to when our install will take place, and any final drawings. We have a number of emails and phone calls to them where they keep telling us they are so busy and one where they say they are waiting on some material. Meanwhile no information or commitment from them on the work to be done in the last month. This is no way to handle business. We were promised 8-12 weeks for install. It's now 17 weeks! We had hoped to have our bathroom done for a special event, but that looks like it will not happen. This feels like it's on the verge of fraud, and we will be handling it that way if we don't get some answers soon. All I can say is beware with this company, they don't deliver what they promise. Even the salesman who sold us this quit. I wonder if he just didn't save his own reputation. Very disappointing.

Matrix Basement Finishing Systems created a great area for our family and friends to enjoy. Their quality of work and professionalism is superb, and they completed our basement on time and on budget! We were really impressed with their overall quality of work and attention to detail. Their lead supervisor Victor was attentive and engaged throughout the entire project to ensure each facet of the job was not only finished but completed correctly. Temo, our lead installer was excellent in his approach to everything from framing the walls, installing the doors and cabinetry, and installing the window and drywall. Also, their electricians and plumbers did a great job and were always on time and met their required schedules. Overall, we are incredibly pleased with the entire project as each team member was professional, thorough and courteous. The quality and workmanship typified their dedication in ensuring customer satisfaction. Matrix is a great contractor, provides quality workmanship, and we are very satisfied with our finished basement!

Victor was our general contractor and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Matrix gave us an online schedule and Victor guided the project from start to finish. He was available to us via phone or text and would always get back to us in a timely manner. We felt all the guys coming to our house were professional and really did a beautiful job. We are very pleased with our new basement and can’t wait to show it off. Highly recommend.

My project was just completed on 8/4/20 and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience with Matrix Basement Systems. From concept to completion they were very professional, efficient and patient.

They weren't intrusive, they didn't interrupt schedules and even during a global pandemic they rose to the occasion safely everyday, each and every contractor that entered our home were respectful and polite. Great service and execution of sales design to completion. I would recommend to friends and family

The salesman came to my house and gave us a quote on a shower/tub area. There was pressure to lock down the price after telling him we were going to get a few more quotes from other companies. We gave him a $100 check on Saturday, July 11 which he promised to hold off on cashing until the following Saturday-July 18th after we received all quotes and could make a decision. The company cashed our check 3 days later. We never signed a contract. They claim they are issuing a refund, but that it will take one week. So if I'm to believe them, I should receive a refund by Tuesday July 21.

They finished on time a budget. One guy stood out his name was Rudy, he really went above what he had too.

They were timely and did a high quality job on our two bath tub replacements.

Matrix and their whole team was great to work with: everyone was very respectful and efficient, and we hardly knew they were hard at work as our routines were barely interrupted. They were communicative, as well as glad to pivot on a task or make a revision to the original plan as the process moved along in order to meet the basement's changing needs as it all came together. I would say we would gladly work with them again, but this basement was a one-and-done deal. :)
