We contracted with Matrix to install a new tub and surround. After several problems with items and installation both parities agreed to a $500 credit. It was verified and agreed to by both parties via email and text on 9/9/2019. Even though the contract terms were changed on 9/9/2019, they withdrew from the loan (we financed through them) the original amount of $6196 instead of $5696.
I called and left a message for the accounting department (I have his name). I texted one person(on site manager) on 9/11/2019 and 9/19/2019. I texted the other person (sales manager) that offered the $500 credit on 9/12/2019, 9/14/2019, 9/18/2019 and 9/20/2019. No $500 credit or check has been sent to the date of this complaint. None of the 3 people I contacted have let me know the status. I also tried to dispute the charge with the third party creditor and have them investigate it, but they have not responded. Matrix has breached our contract.

Matrix people are so polite and professional. Ben the carpenter is a great guy with top notch skills in carpentry . the attention to detail is amazing including the electrician , plumbing, ventilation company , dry wall people etc . Brian is always on top of things and scheduling keeps you on the loop every step of the way . Very systematic and precise . No false promises they are the basement people at its best . Im so happy they did ours!

We had a great experience with Matrix Basements! We were able to track the full project schedule on the app that they provide and our project went smoothly and finished on-time. Every person that came to our house was personable and professional. They would let me know when they were coming/going and were always courteous to my 3 kids. I would recommend this company to any of our family and friends!

We had a phenomenal experience with Matrix. They worked with us right from the beginning to make great design choices and recommendations about what to do with our unfinished space. They were incredibly respectful of our budget and offered cost saving ideas and options for financing. Once the work began, they were incredibly efficient and kept us informed every step of the way. The trades were skilled, friendly, professional and kept our house clean. We are so incredibly pleased with our final result. They are a first class company to work with!

and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. Later the same day someone called from their offices that
someone was available to come out the same day, and we met with their Design Consultant Kyle *** who
looked at the project and and pulled out his PC to show us what ‘wonderful' materials they are using to create a
new shower.
At first he quoted us $18,000 but when we balked at that price-tag he offered generous discounts if we agreed to
positively recommend this Matrix company and say how wonderful they are.
He asked what budget we had in mind and we said certainly not $18,000, and he lowered the price to $10,000
immediately for the entire shower remodel. We picked what color, and paid a $5,000 down payment.
We later realized that price did not include the shower door. We called them to include the shower door in the
$10,000 total price and they said they could not include the new shower door in the $10,0000 cost, and it would
cost an extra $4,000 for the new shower door, to which we did not agree, going elsewhere for a fraction of what
Matrix wanted for the door.
Two weeks later a two-man crew came out with the materials to build the new shower. They failed to remove all
the old tiles, and installed very cheap materials over the existing tiled shower walls. When they finished the crew demanded the entire balance. We only paid them $3,000 because they failed to do what was promised by Matrix.
Now a person named Jake from Matrix is harassing us, making daily harassing and threatening telephone calls.
They use such Gestapo tactics by sending very menacing looking men to our home in an attempt to intimidate
and scare us. Their vehicle even sat in front of our home for part of the day to intimidate us. This Jake even called
us to say that if we did not pay the $2,000 immediately he would put a lien on our home.
We are both retired folks and my husband is physically handicapped. We are contacting our lawyer to discuss this
and get them to stop the harassment and these Gestapo tactics.

cost an extra $4,000 for the new shower door, to which we did not agree, going elsewhere for a fraction of what
Matrix wanted for the door.
Two weeks later a two-man crew came out with the materials to build the new shower. They failed to remove all
the old tiles, and installed very cheap materials over the existing tiled shower walls. When they finished the crew demanded the entire balance. We only paid them $3,000 because they failed to do what was promised by Matrix.
Now a person named Jake from Matrix is harassing us, making daily harassing and threatening telephone calls.
They use such Gestapo tactics by sending very menacing looking men to our home in an attempt to intimidate
and scare us. Their vehicle even sat in front of our home for part of the day to intimidate us. This Jake even called

Overall process was extremely smooth and easy. It was overwhelming to try to do this project but with Matrix I didn't have to worry about anything. Going over how I wanted the basement to look and getting the window seat I always wanted and a secret office room was an easy, hassle free process and once the work started things happened fast. I'm extremely grateful to my project manager *** who is very easy to get in touch with and quickly replies to any questions I had along the way. No need to worry about permits or inspections or scheduling electricians or plumbers, Matrix takes care of it all. It would have been impossible for me to do the basement on my own and sell my condo all at the same time but having the project managed for you from start to finish made all the difference. *** was a phenomenal contractor that always went about and beyond every time he showed up for work. Super grateful for *** who was on site for my final day of inspection! Everyone that Matrix hired was friendly, professional, on time and always left the basement clean once they were completed. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get their basement done to use Matrix!
