Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC Reviews (177)

Revdex.com:
[redacted] was beyond helpful, MUCH more so than any other person we spoke to at MB Finance. She not only looked into our issue, but she also had great follow thru and didn't make us feel like a number, but like a valued customer. Hopefully, she is recognized for her efforts because every other person we spoke to had either given us incorrect information, or passed us off to someone else. It is because of [redacted] that we will continue to use MB Finance in the future. Maybe she should give the rest of the staff lessons in customer service.

Thank you for contacting the Consumer  Protection Financial  Bureau (CFPB)  regarding your  loan with Mercedes-Benz  Financial  Services  (MBFS). We  appreciate  the  opportunity  to  address  your  concern regarding the...

above-referenced account. While we regret to learn of the miscommunication you had with Mercedes-Benz of Arlington, we sincerely appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to review your concern. Please note that MBFS is an indirect lender, which means we purchase contracts that fit our credit standards and program criteria frorn independently owned dealerships. As an indirect lender, MBFS is not involved in the discussions and negotiations between a dealer and lessee. Since we are not present at the time of sale, we must accept all signed contracts as being read, and agreed to by the buyer upon execution.Per your Motor Lease Vehicle Agreement (MVLA), you agreed to pay for any excess mileage on the vehicle.  Enclosed is a copy of your MVLA for your reference.  MBFS can offer you a payment plan if you desire.  The payment plan option would be: 6 payments for $215.32 starting September 2, 2016.  If you are interested in establishing this payment plan, please contact our First Class Finish department   [redacted]Ms. White, we know you have a choice, and we thank you for your patronage. We sincerely hope thatyou will continue to choose Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.

Responded to [redacted]'s, suggested he contact the RMV in regards to wrong name on registration. We did forward outstanding parking tickets to the transferee. Explained excise tax abatement was received and applied to account, it was received after the transfer of interest was completed.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.MBUSA needs to call me to discuss, not once did I hear from anyone via telephone.  The matter remains MB of Pleasanton tells me that they will not refund anything to me.  The 999.00 was listed on the contract financed by MBFS.  That is a MB maintenance and can be used at any dealership in the continental US according to when I called the service department.  Therefore this is not administered by a third party and I do expect MBUSA and of MBFS to refund these monies to me.  Otherwise I will continue to proceed in escalate this situation with other federal/state agencies whom I can file complaints within.

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. Exactly as I feared would happen, MBFS punished me for making a complaint to the CFPB & Revdex.com. Just a few days after my complaint, MBFS is now reporting to Equifax TWO separate (duplicate) accounts on my credit report. My credit score dropped by 81 points! Both have the same account number with different balances owed. Now it appears that I have $99,323 in automobile loans when I actually only have ONE account with MBFS and my principal balance is $48,981. Please see attached credit report directly from Equifax. MBFS is now listing 2 accounts under the same account number. One shows a balance of $50,342 and another shows a balance of $48,981. MBFS was NOT reporting 2 duplicate accounts prior to my complaints.  MBFS has caused me damages and I cannot get approved for a home loan because of their irresponsible credit reporting. I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Attorney General as well. This is ridiculous and very unethical behavior.

We spoke to [redacted] and reassured her that both of her accounts (Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and her Battery Assurance Plus) are scheduled to debit in 5/2017. The MBFS account is set up on Autopay and the Battery Assurance Plus account is set up on a recurring Western...

Union payment.  [redacted] was advised there are no credit late marks on any of the three bureaus.  I was able to able to assist the customer regarding her finance needs.  The customer was referred to follow up with Mercedes-Benz USA (manufacturer) in reference to her battery, as MBFS is not the manufacturer.  We are her financial institution.  The customer was satisfied and said she has no further questions.

I am rejecting this response because:  the response in appropriate to say big company can do whatever it wants to the little guy.  The tone spoke by the customer service representative was arrogant. I did inform MBUSA and MB...

Financial Services that you sent me bill and I send one right back to them times three (3), which equals six (6) times $3433.00.  Yes, I will be taking on the big company.  I am going to get my refund of $21500 plus $3433 one way or another.

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. Please keep in mind that Mercedes Benz has been uncooperative and providing poor  Customer Service but also not maintaining a SAFE vehicle to Drive.  Mercedes Benz is  Unprofessional, Unethical, and providing practice in BAD faith.Per my documentation on 06/03/2015, the vehicle has been returned in excellent condition and in Good faith!

While we regret learning of [redacted]’s mechanical issues with his 2015 Mercedes-Benz ML350W2, we appreciate being advised of the situation. Please be aware, however, that MBFS is a leasing and financing company and is not qualified to respond to concerns regarding the design or performance of the vehicles we finance. We have forwarded a copy of his correspondence to the MBUSA Client Assistance Center and understand that a representative is now working with [redacted].
Please be aware that MBFS is an indirect lender, which means we purchase contracts that fit our credit and program criteria from independently owned and operated dealerships. As an indirect lender, MBFS is not involved in the discussions and negotiations of a dealer with the buyer or lessee. And since we are not present at the time of sale, we must accept all signed contracts as being read, understood, and agreed to by the customer upon execution.
We have enclosed a copy of the contract which highlights [redacted]’s obligation to MBFS and recommend that he continue to fulfill that obligation in order to avoid negative impact to his credit. Please see the section entitled "Promise to Pay" on the front page.
We have responded directly to [redacted] regarding his complaint, and to the CFBP.

Called the customer and advised him we sent an update to all three credit bureaus confirming all of his payments have been paid as agree.  I verbally provided [redacted] a control #to reference for the bureaus confirming we have sent the update, also mailed the customer a letter to his...

address on file confirming out conversation along with the control number.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. The issues regarding my complaint against MBFS are even worse now.  I now have duplicate auto loans reporting to TransUnion.  I was told by MBFS that the issue with my auto loan reporting duplicate open accounts was exclusive to Equifax and that it was Equifax's fault-which is NOT true.I was told by MBFS that this issue of duplicate auto loans would not occur on Experian or TransUnion.  As you can see from my attachment, my auto loan is now reporting TWICE on TransUnion.  My TransUnion score has tanked due to this.  This is NOT the fault of the credit reporting agencies.  It is the fault of MBFS and the severe and damaging reporting caused by Mercedes Benz Financial.  As I stated in my previous complaints, I am in the middle of a home loan.  I cannot begin to describe how devastated I am over this situation.  There is NO way that I will get final approval for my home loan when MBFS is reporting falsely that I have over $90,000 in auto loans.  I only have ONE auto loan with MBFS and my balance is approximately $48,000.  I am expecting that this duplicate account will soon appear on my Experian credit report.  This false reporting puts me in a dire situation where not only can I not get approved for a home loan but my current creditors such as credit card companies could lower my credit limits or close my accounts.
