Thank you for this concern regarding Ms *** ***I know a lot of attention was given to this concern step by step. Victor A*** was constantly helping her along with the technicians adhering to the rejected inspections by the county My understanding is that we removed
and existing sink that the customer needed changed to a double sink.
The county had safety concerns and asked we make several upgrades to make things right Our job is to make sure what ever the county want we have to adhere to it.
The concerns mounted and many visits were requiredEach time we believed things were done the county failed us on another concern.
We have installed many sinks and water heaters in the past and had no concerns at allWhy this occurred is hard to understand but we believe all is corrected at this timeI will be glad to speak to Ms *** but I don't believe the refund of the $is the correct way to handle this concernThanks Vance S***

Erik from Michael & Son did the job for us and fixed our problemsHe did a great job and found another area where work needs to be doneWe will call Michael & Son again any time for future problems, very good work by him

Morgan came out to do the HVAC inspectionHe was professional and knowledgeableDuring the inspection he found a trunk line that went to a hard vent that just vented to the crawl spaceHe also found the supply trunk was wet and needed replaced and two smaller vents that were wet and needed replacedHe removed the trunk that went nowhere and closed the holeAlso during inspection he found that the thermostat cable was spliced and laying in mud, causing the unit's contact to randomly closeHe removed the splice from the mud and cleaned up the connectionI told him I would put the splice in a junction box myselfMorgan was great and found many issues with my HVAC systemThe problem with this is that Michael and Son installed the unit years agoThe unit has been inspected a couple of times since the installLast year the tech found the supply line wet and installed a metal ductI thought that this would take care of the problemThen this year the same thing plus the other issuesMichael and Son quoted me over $to replace the ducting that they installed not once but twice and still don't have correctThe spliced thermostat cable was not quotedMorgan said that he would talk to his manager about my concerns on Monday and that he would most likely give me a callI have received no callAt this point I am losing faith in Michael and Son to get this right

Michael & Son Services, Incmust do a better job of telling its techs to allow customers to make a decision of whether or not to do a job instead of just doing it The tech who came to my home found the problem (very simple) for which I already had the part and I could have easily (in one minute) fixed with my own two handsIn fact, I went thru the trouble to work diligently with the tech to turn on and off the breaker to fix the problem I was charged for minof work (the minimum) when that was NOT necessary, but the tech specifically told me that Michael & Son do not like their techs to go out and not work I am writing this after I notified my tech to be more careful in the future with their business interactions AND to tell future customers to be very wary of this business The rate that I would have been charged for the minfix would have been $more if I didn't have the part However, I was not given the choice sadly

The only bad thing is the price Water heater was over $when I know of people that got one for under $Now onto the good news - The worker was very professional and qualified to do the jobThe water heater has all the bells and whistles ( sensors, overflow pan, CO monitor)I chose Michael and Son because they do quality work, even if they are expensive I have had them help me with electrical and a sewer line years ago and their work has held up fine

Roland Hrepaired two light fixtures, one of which hadn't worked for 3+ yearsHe was thorough and conscientious and did an excellent job

This was a difficult electrical re-wiring jobPaul gave me an upfront estimate, arrived when he said he would, worked all day in a dark crawl space and a hot attic, was always polite and professional, took care to protect my flooring, was even nice to my catHe did an outstanding job at the cost he quotedI would definitely hire him again!
