A re-image was done on the customers unitNormally we would charge $for a re-image as software is not covered under any warrantyUnder the service plan terms and conditions we must diagnose a unit and determine the cause and if it can be repaired economically In this case the hardware was not broken and the unit only needed a re-image to repair it

Customers unit was a clearance unit so it did not carry the full manufacturer's warranty which is explained at the point of purchaseWe do offer extended warranties at Micro Center on the sales floor and then again at the register but one was not purchased with this unitThe customers warranty was the manufacturer's warranty so the customer may reach out to the manufacturer who is the warranty providerWe do value our customer and so have offered to mark a new model of the same model of computer down for the customer from $to $

I am rejecting this response because: I wasn't given a choice they cancled that sale I found out later when I called that the order was cancled I only thought to call because another time when idid business with microcenter they wanted to confirm I made the purche or something like that don't rember but anyways I proactively called to move thgings a lot and that is when I found out the order has been cancledI would indeed like to purchase the monitor as for when it would be in stock would also determine my reply

Per Micro Center's attached work orderWe did not do any work on the machine aside from attempt to get the unit out of the loop, which we were unsuccessful in doingThe unit needs to be restoredWe offered this to the customer and she declinedI was able to find that the customer's mother of the same name (different spelling) did pay for the bench fee of $plus taxThis amount has been refunded back to her card per receipt - [redacted] (attached) for customer satisfaction

Kirk DID GET THE COMPUTER OUT OF THE LOOPKIRK DID COPY MY HARD DRIVEKIRK DID put on the on the wrong version of WindowsKirk then Put back MY files Back onto my computerTHIS THE ONLY PLACE IT HAPPENEDKIRK was the only who had access to the version of Windows HE PUT ON MY COMPUTER I WOULD NOT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THIS VERSION SO YOU CAN'T LIE AND SAY I DID ITYou could not remote access the computer while it was in the LOOP so there would be NO WAY FOR MICROSOFT OR MY FRIEND TO PUT THAT WINDOWS ON MY COMPUTER TOOMY friend who is a MUCH HIGHER LEVEL Computer tech was IN THE HOSPITAL ON TOP OF THIS SO HOW DARE YOU SAY HE DID OR ANYONE ELSE PLEASE DO The CORRECT THING AND REPLACE MICROSOFT OFFICE the version I wound up with because of KIRK putting the wrong version of Windows on my computer was defectivePLEASE REPLACE IT WITH OFFICE with the DVDSReplace the Photo editing software which also was damaged and does not workWith the software I put in the complaintYou need to replace the monitor because that is not being correctly picked up by the softwareEVEN THE PERSON WHO WAS ON THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE WHEN O CALLED TO TALK TO THE STORE MANAGER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE DAMAGE SAID IT WAS STORE POLICY TO AUTOMATICALLY REPLACE AN UNSUPPORTED VERSION OF WINDOWS IF THE COMPUTER CAME IN FOR REPAIRI had I had DELL WINDOWS HOME EDITION FACTORY INSTALLED when I dropped the computer offIt was an unsupported version according to the man that answered the phone so KIRK Put on the NEXT LEVEL of Windows Build which is a RETAIL version and NOT compatible with DELLCALL THEM AND ASKDELL said the ONLY thing I could do was buy the DELL Operating System Already Installed on your computer Windows Recovery Media for Windows Products bitFYI as soon as you use that it REMOVES all the installed software I was able to back up ONLY the documents, pictures and the downloaded programs in the download folder I lost all the files for Filizilla connections for my servers , I lost all the browsers files for the usernames and passwords and all the bookmarksI lost the favorite files in AOL and those user names and passwordsbecause KIRK could not activate the Windows nothing was workingMy tech told me that the only thing that would remain on the hard drive would be the documents and picturesEVERYTHING WOULD BE GONEHE WAS RIGHT and now because of the change MOST OF MY GAMES COULD NOT BE INSTALLEDI wound up having to reinatall all the BROWSERS Fire Fox, Google Chrome, AOL I had to install all the SpyBot, Advance system care, FileZilla, Office is not working I showed you the error messagesI showed you proof that it said that the Windows had to be activated that is NOT NEEDED when you use the RECOVERY DVD IT DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH A WINDOWS UPDATE tooI showed you the FAKE Receipt from Micro Center trying to cover this up if you did not get the copy let me know PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THINGPay my mom back, pay for the flash drives give me the Office and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite XGraphic design software and send me the money to get the new monitorTHAT IS THE ONLY THING THAT IS ACCEPTABLE http://www.staples.com/ViewSonic-VA2855Smh-28-1080p-HDMI-Monitor/product_http://... of the monitor and year service planANY OF THE ABOVE images you need that if you did not get it the like the FAKE receipt let me know I will send each separately to make sure you get them allKIRK HANDED ME BACK MY COMPUTER IT WAS OUT OF THE LOOP and HAD THE WRONG WINDOWS ON ITHE SET THE RESTORE POINT FEB that was not there beforeSince HE LIED about getting it out of the loop when I got it I did what would have had to be done if it was in the LOOP we went to the the RECOVERY section and did the RESTORE POINT HE MADE that took it out of the LOOPHE DID NOT HAVE PERMISSION to REPLACE WINDOWS or COPY MY HARD DRIVEAs SOON AS THE RESTORE POINT WORKED WORKED ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS CALL ME TO GET MY COMPUTERWHEN I GOT IT HOME IT WOULD HAVE CORRECTLY UPDATED THE NEXT LEVELNOW IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

Store manager contacted the customer 9/19/and the customer told him at the end of October Micro Center offered to exchange for another tablet (within day return period) and customer declined The manager offered to look at the tablet to see if they can help, and customer declined the offerShe bought a new tablet at another retailer

We will not be able to process a refund without a Micro Center Receipt
