because: Below is my response that was sent to the Ms. P She has a little problem with the truth.Ms.. P.,You, your store, your manager and your subcontractor Advanquest have wasted a monumental amount of my time. The complaint stands. I do not wish to have anything to do with a company who thinks its okay to ignore their customers who have paid for a product. You should consider setting up a phone system that actually allows customers to get through and ask questions. Steve the store manager should be removed immediately and all of you especially the president should take a class in customer service 101. I have filed my opinion with Consumer Affairs about my experience with your sub contractor Avanquest and will be doing the same with your company.In closing to the Revdex.comI do not want anything from this company. However I do want this complaint and response to stay as part of this companies history with the Revdex.com. People should be aware that after they buy something from this company their support is MISERBLE AT BEST!!!

A sales manager has been in touch with the customer to resolve the issue

Customer brought unit in for HDD installWe noted the units keyboard was not functioning correctlyCustomer declined keyboard replacementCustomer brings unit back well after HDD install and says the keyboard is not functional and that it is a result of our work on the HDD installThe keyboard
functionality and work we did on the HDD install are not connectedHowever, in the case of helping our customer, we ordered a replacement keyboard at no cost for the customerThe replacement keyboard did not work and the problem persistedFurther diagnostics run on the unit revealed the issue to be with the motherboard which is also unrelated to the work we had previously doneCustomer still believes it was caused by our previous work thoughFor the sake of customer service, we credited the customer $back in labor from the initial HDD install

I have emailed the customer letting him know we will make a one time exception if he would like to bring the motherboard in for a return

I am rejecting this response because:Retail purchase price of the LCD
touchscreen direct from Lenovo for 100% and every estimate calculation I come up with indicates Microcenter is marking up parts at least 100%.I have been in the consumer electronics business for years doing complex system integration and support I am very familiar with how reputable companies source parts (and treat customers).This was my first experience with Microcenter service It will be my last I thought I was dealing with a reputable and trustworthy company Now I put you in the same category that got Sears (and a multitude of other companies) tied up in class action law suits for consumer fraud.Last Friday I forced your service department to review the terms with me which backed them into a corner and forced them to issue us a check for the service contract buy out so that at least we are not stuck in your retail web.Lets review how this all played out for us (your customer).We purchased a "factory" refurbished laptop I now question this because my past experience with "factory" refurbished is full "factory" warranty not days but whateverwe did know the warranty was limited to days.Two months out of the limited day warranty (whole months of use) the touch becomes intermittent Mind you the laptop has clearly been babied and does not have a scratch on it An intermittent touch on a device that has virtually no physical signs of use is clearly a manufactures defect Especially on a device that is less than months old Because you forced a buy out of the service plan to do what should have been a very simple repair) you as a retailer just charged us $to use a $laptop for months We consumers (and professional/commercial users for that matter) expect any electronic device to last at least two years if taken care of.Any way you try to spin this with your "terms and conditions" we feel we have been ripped off Microcenter made its money and left us holding the bag on a defective product that you sold us.You have lost multiple life long customers over this transaction (there are multiple nerds in our family and we have lots of nerd friends).When someone mentions Microcenter I will be sure to share my personal experience and wish them luck with their transaction because if anything goes wrong they will need it

Customer originally brought in the vehicle after she claims she was ripped off by another shopShe said that she wanted her coolant leak fixed(It was dumping out of her radiator)She had a warranty on her radiator that was replaced previously at another shopWe replaced the radiator for her as
well as her power steering pump like she requested.She then came back later and stated her vehicle was overheating and she smelled fuelShe brought the car in and we found her intake manifold gaskets leaking coolant and fuel was coming out of her injectorsShe authorized repairs for coolant leak and fuel leakWe performed repairs and verified repairs and all was goodShe took the vehicle.She left a couple messages over the holiday weekend stating she lost all her gas she just put inWe went to her house to verify complaint and had it towed to our shop.Upon inspection of the vehicle we found that the original fuel leak was because of a bent fuel rail bracket that someone else had previously worked on.We went above and beyond to fix her car and then someWe fixed the fuel leak for her, made sure everything else was good, replaced her power steering pump, harmonic balancer, belt, windshield washer sprayer motor at no extra cost to make sure she had a safe running vehicleThe vehicle is in very poor shape to begin with and has suspension and other issues that she is aware of. This customer has had previous complaints against other shops that the BAR has been involved in and states she is a problem and hard to deal with.We did everything in our power to make this right and she was happy when she left our shop.It is unfortunate that people act like this when it was something caused elsewhere and we did what we could to make it right anyways.We at Cooks Auto Repair hope that she will be content and have a Happy New Year

A manager contacted the customer and a check is being issued to him

Microcenter responded : " We do not have a way to reserve an item via phone as our stores phones call into our corporate office call centerThe only way to reserve an item is to place an order via in-store pickup on our websiteWe cannot guarantee stock on any item unless you have a confirmed in-store pickup order" They are responding to a phone call I made AFTER an attempt to buy the item in their store. While in the store, the sales associate dishonored their price saying they did not have the item. I later called and attempted to buy the item over the phone as the item was still being offered online at the sale price

Dear ***,I apologize we didn't respond to your concern sooner; however we have not been receiving the notifications from the Revdex.com. I am working with our IT department to get this remedied. Please allow me a couple of days to work out a satisfactory resolution for your concern. I

The customer checked her unit in for service with Micro Center in because liquid was spilled on the computerThe Customer's Apple Care Warranty was voided by the liquid spill per Apple's terms and agreements for Apple Care, found on their website here

Damage caused by (a) a product that is not the covered equipment, (b) accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause." Per our terms for checking any computer is for repair at Micro Center, the customer acknowledged that "New, used, reconditioned or re-manufactured parts may be used in warranty and non-warranty repairs." We do not accept any computers for service if the terms of service are not accepted at the check in kiosk

The GM spoke with the customer and apologized for not returning her magsafe chargerHe has sent her another oneWe have not charged the customer for any work performed

Micro Center has NOT addressed the problems or even attempted to resolved them! I will continue to fight for retribution through other avenues if nothing is done with the Revdex.com to resolve the abundance of mistakes made I would like to know why the Micro Centers records do not show I returned to the Tustin store twice in the first month to fix issues I was already having with the machine, and why they continue to ignore the list of issues I have reported Please copy me on the link where this case will be posted, so I can share

Hello,Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help. The Operations Manager left a message for the customer to call him back to offer a couple of options to resolve his concern as soon as possible

A store manager has attempted to contact the customer and left a message to call him back

Customer had Power supply and main board replaced and repair completed on 5/25/through Micro Center's onsite repair company after he had taken it to *** TV RepairCustomer encountered a new issue with the TV showing a blank screen and brought it back to *** TV Repair so Micro Center was
unaware of the new issueCustomer has been in contact with Micro Center since and a new repair order was set up on June 23rdCurrently the unit has been approved for repair and Micro Center's onsite repair provider is currently waiting for the part to fix the TV
