We appreciate the patience and understanding of the parties Complaint Details Date Filed: 4/14/Date Opened: 04/14/Date Closed: N/A Nature of the Complaint: Contract Issues Consumer’s Additional Information Regarding His Complaint: I recently inquired to Microcenter about a replacement plan I'd receivedThey have filed a criminal trespass notice against me about setting foot on the propertyPart of the last time I reported them was they replaced the pump under warrantyThey have a "satisfaction guarantee" posted on their website if you have an insider accountWell I've been shopping there for years and have had an insider account for yearsNow after I started inquiring and asking for a copy of my receipts as I did at the store yet none were given to me until I filed a complaintI noticed that Anone of the signatures looked anything like the way I sign, even the way I e-sign, and Bthere were charges that were quite substantial with no signature on file, or just an absence of oneWell I tried contacting the business several times and was met twice with a gentleman who said he worked there and claimed to be a police officerI thought that odd so I called from a separate number and was met with someone else who hung up on me immediately upon learning my nameYesterday I mysteriously received a check from micro center for There was no explanation and I've tried to contact them several times about what it was forIf it was for what is stated in their extended warranty policy it falls painfully short of the dollar pump I received as well as the which was told to me to be pump they replaced for meIt states plainly in their warranty agreement that they have the option to buy out the replacement policy, at the market value of the item upon date of purchaseIf this is there intent it's never been divulged to me, and the check doesn't come close to what they themselves say is their right to doI've respected the trespass order even though by law it is the most direct route to get an explanation for what it's for as it only states that I've raised suspicionsOdd because I received it the same day I told the PR relations director that I was bipolarConsumer’s New Desired Resolution: An explanation for what the criminal trespass order is for, as well as an explanation of what the check is forAlso why I was locked out of my insider account until today in which I can't reset or retrieve the passwordAn explanation of your satisfaction guarantee without a receiptAnd a refund amounting to every one of the charges made without a signature that stand over the limit to require one

Mr*** *greed to come to the store on Saturday, 8/6/to meet with Layda Cordosa-duris. The customer checked in his computer for service and they offered part at the stores cost and will provide free labor. Tech left a message for the customer on 8/with price of part. The store is awaiting the customer's response

I am rejecting this
response because:I have receipts attached. I was incorrect about the monitor price, however, the complaint still stands. I didn't realize I'd have to read pages of fine print to avoid being outright lied to by employee's of the store. I want a refund for the service plans attached to these receipts

The modification of advertised terms, i.e$adjustment for open box should be disclosed at the same time as the $discount [found in ad hard copy & webpage]The merchant should review their records & make good on all of the John/Jane Does affected by this illegal [and tacky] business practice.Kudos to the Revdex.com for another job well done

I am rejecting this response because: The prices are still gouged WAY above MSRP, in store pickup is still disabled making someone like me terrified to risk driving hours round trip again (already happened twice) just to find it no longer in stock, the store is still interrogating its
customers like the Gestapo to determine if they are a bitcoin miner (call and ask for yourself), and the store is still blackmailing customers to buy entire PC builds to get the massively gouged price on a GPU down to be only semi-massively gouged. As well it taking forever for MicroCenter to reply to a Revdex.com complaint. So basically MicroCenter has done nothingLiterally nothing but not gouge prices as well (due to the mining demand coolinfg off and not for good customer service) and their reply is weak. The truth is they are being greedy to charge well over MSRP just because they can, they are being greedy not selling it unless you buy an entire PC build (selling the GPU for massive gouged price isnt enough?), and they ignoring customers like me that have spent tens of thousands of dollars in everything from 2-3+ yearly PC builds, TVs, gaming monitors, head phones, key boards, mice, etc etc etc. The store employees even know it is shady. They cannot look you in the eye, theyre dodgy not wanting to advertise their blackmail now, and even the store manager seemed to want to quietly buy me off under the table to shut up. My point is I am done being a customer and I want others to see this complaint to know the games they play behind the scenes. I am now a NewEgg customer. I always had a chip on my shoulder against newegg for not being a US companybut since MicroCenter pushed me into their arms I have found they have excellent customer service and policies. Such as NOT disabling online ordering, only having a hour window before you can reorder anything and they will match or beat MicroCenter pricing and not even charge tax.

Customer came to the store and the manager got him taken care of

Hello,Roger L***, General Manager at the StLouis Park location, called the customer to explain what was going on in the marketplace in regards to the pricing of graphics cards which the customer indicated he completely understood and had verified with other retailers/websites. Roger also explained if something did in fact happen to the card within the extended warranty period, the process instituted at the store is to honor the price paid for the card for an exact replacement. He thanked the GM for contacting him. The customer also told the GM he would cancel his Revdex.com complaint.Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help

I am rejecting this response because: When I brought the computer in it was running slow because of Windows install, everything else worked perfectly! I picked it up and paid $188.97, when I got home I realized the key board wasn't working properly so drove back there (round trip miles)I told them the problem of keyboard not working they immediately offered to replace key board, because they knew they had messed up! Did not help, so then they said the mother board was bad and not worth fixing! I have witnesses to every transaction that was made! I talked to Joe the manager on the phone and he assured me he would make it right by refunding my $and a discount on new computerI picked out new computer and they gave my $back but will not respond to me at all and no refund! I have the new computer sitting here un-opened waiting for a response, nothingSo to sum this all up I have been without a computer since Last November, have made trips down there to resolve the issues and am still out a computer unless I pay for a the new one myselfI have customers myself in my job and when I screw up I fix the problem and some times eat the costs but never tell the customer there wrong!!!
