FDCPA does not require an initial demand notice be sent until there is an initial communication with the consumerAt that point it is required we send that notice within business daysOur first communication with this consumer was on 5/26/at which time she expressed that this account was
FRAUDOur internal policy & client requirements are that we request the consumer provide any documentation they have supporting the claimWe received a police report showing identity theft from the consumer on 6/1/The account was marked FRAUD that day, and will be returned to our client for reviewWe have ceased all collection efforts and a credit bureau deletion record will be submitted to the credit furnishers no later than 6/10/

They claim to stop collection activity yet they added the collection that is invalid on to the 3rd credit bureau on 7/weeks after this letterIt's been a month and no verification of debt!

I am accepting this business response but lets just hope that they are telling the truth and not lying about removing it because the account should have never been placed on my credit accounts in the first place confused to how in the heck they even got my information now that part scares the living heck out of me I mean they said that they are going to mark it as fraud and remove it but why even but a fraud collection on someone and purposley mess there credit up in the beginning smdh anyway im glad that Revdex.com got involved and I contacted other people to help get this resolved I am making a copy of this to send to all credit bureas and to keep as a record just in case they dont remove it

I am rejecting this response because:This is a statement because I paid this debt on March, 8th So why are they claiming it was removed and paid in full on 12/16/If this is the case, I would like a refundI would also like proof that it was removed from all three credit reportsBecause we are trying to purchase a home, we had our credit ran on 4/6/and it shows $past due to Midwest Recovery SystemsI find it absolutely amazing that with over complaints, this company still has an A+.
