There are many companies that operate in that fashion that unfortunately get all collection agencies lumped into the same category. MRS has voice analytics set for FDCPA & UDAP guidelines, and in the event an agent was to speak like this on the phone they would be immediately terminated from MRS. All calls inbound & outbound of our facility are recorded. Please have this consumer contact us directly to try to resolve this matter. Our contact information has been provided with this response.

Upon receiving notification of this complaint, MRS investigated regarding this matter.  It was found that prior to receiving this complaint this account was recalled by our client and is no longer with our office. We have followed our recalled account policy and haven’t had any further communication with the consumer. No future follow up is planned. Our recalled account policy is once an account is recalled by a client, we immediately stop all collection efforts and send a record of deletion to all three credit reporting agencies. A new record for deletion was sent on 2/12/2018.  The control number for this deletion is [redacted]. Please allow 30 days for the credit reporting agencies to update their records. Then, we close and return the account to our client to our client per their request.
