After reviewing the call recordings of the conversations with Mrs. [redacted], we determined the agent handled themselves in a professional manner. The agent was explaining the circumstances surrounding the account being placed here. On multiple occassions throughout the call the consumer expressed her...

dissatisfaction with the original client [redacted], and was upset with the fact she was being charged fees for being sent to collections. The call ended up resulting in the consumer setting up a payment arrangement on the account to resolve the balance in our office. We have also addressed this complaint with the agent she spoke to and gave them a coaching session on voice infliction and handling a complain escalation. We apologize for any negative experience you may have received, as we do not take complaints lightly. Please contact our office for any further questions.

I am rejecting this response because: I need it DELETED from my Credit report ASAP! I should NOT have to wait for them to figure anything out. They have admitted that they had NO communication whatsoever via verbal or written with me, so NO VALIDATION was made before they(MIDWEST RECOVERY) just took it upon themselves to place an negative item on my credit report.  This should  be  "ILLEGAL" and I want that collection item removed ASAP!

I am rejecting this response because:
They do not respect the consumer at all. They did not give me any heads up (30 days) prior to damaging my credit. I will push this further if I have too. I will not accept nothing less than  them removing the debt from my credit . In Pennsylvania pay day loans are illegal and they have no reason to go ahead and attack my credit like they did especially with out contacting me first.

Hello,As per our conversation on the phone, please find attached a screenshot showing my name as well as the fraudulent account that Midwest Recovery Systems placed on my TransUnion credit report after claiming falsely that they needed more information to identify me because no Stephen Conn existed in their systems. I am rejecting this response because: They should be validating the debt they are trying to collect prior to putting something on a credit report. This company made no efforts to contact me at all or by email. They are liars!!    I am getting a letter from the Legal Department at [redacted] as I will be presenting all my facts to a lawyer.  This company is negligent in their business practices and this needs to be addressed in a matter that they will stop doing what the are doing wrong.  They never sent me anything from the MTE one I fought last September of 2015  so I will assume that they will do the same with this collection.   Thank you!

to respond. Upon receiving notification of this complaint, MRS conducted an investigation with regard to this matter. The investigation has found the following: Prior to this complaint being filed, we received an inbound call from this consumer requesting we do not attempt to contact him at his place of employment, and the agent removed the contact information on file. We then received no further communication from this consumer until 3 days prior to this complaint filing date at which time he stated he was sleeping but wanted out office to call him back to discuss this matter. This is the first communication in which this consumer has expressed he was unaware of this debt, or that there was a potential dispute. Our internal policy however is to honor verbal & written DISPUTE claims any time a consumer is expressing such a claim. With that said, we have acknowledged this as a dispute/validation request, and have marked this account DISPUTE as of today's date, and will issue a request for validation documentation from our client. Those documents will be mailed to the newly provided physical address. Please contact our office to resolve this at [redacted].
