Victoria Park apartments in failed to change the locks to my apartmentA stranger was able to walk in using an old key from a former tenant
I moved to Victoria Park apartments in Charlotte NC managed by Milestone Management (corporate office in Dallas TX) last month on September 8th and on October 9th a woman (the mother of ONE the previous tenants, as there were 2) used her OLD key her daughter had given her a long time ago to walk into my apartmentVictoria Park DID NOT change the locks on my door prior to my moving inI walked in on a STRANGER standing in my apartment looking around my living roomI CANNOT BEGIN TO EXPLAIN TO YOU what I felt in that moment!! Thankfully, I wasn't killed or in turn harmed this lady for coming into my apartment! The strange lady and I walked to the office to inform them of what happenedTamara, the assistance office manager was very helpful in getting maintenance to change the locksI called corporate leaving an urgent message to call me back

My lease ends in and wanted to leave on that date, I have called the management office to inform them and also sent a letternot honoring

My name is Louay M***, I have a lease with milestone management for an apartment located at *** *** and that lease ends I was out of the Country recently and when I came back I found a letter explaining that if I didn't want to renew my lease I have to send in a letter to inform the management office, I called the office to inform them of my plans and I was told that a day notice have to be sent in before I leave, I was well into the days so I told the person working there that I have to Leave on so she told to send in the letter anyway and she will take care of the move out date to be the sameA letter was sent to them and then I got a respond that they have change my move out date to and that was not what we agreed on

Ever since I lived in this so called 'Home', I have been calling the maintenance crew ever since I moved here and the complaints were from as little as loose wall electricity sockets to as big as floods and leaks from old pipes This would be my second and last time experiencing a flood at the Avalon Heights Apartments and due to the lack of staff the emergency staff is nowhere to be found or on call for situations like this Other than the flights I have experience holes in the tub's from where you can fall through and they have yet to fix that I've have experience mode when walls damage to furniture and appliances from maintenanceThe Avalon Heights Apartments is no place to call home

I have been attempting to resolve an issue with the manager at *** apartments since February My issue is that another tenant is endangering my child during use of the common areasMy child has been hit repeatedly, gotten bruises, is losing sleep, and has now suffered wounds after being pushed onto the asphaltWhen trying to leave the common areas, my child has been attacked with a motorized scooter by the tenantAll attempts by me to resolve the issue with the tenant previously were met with threats of further physical violence
Initially, the manager said that she would mediate the issue, but then she claimed that she could not because she doesn't know the tenant and could not look up the tenant based upon a nameI made every attempt to get the tenant's information, something that this manager could've easily done, but I was unsuccessfulAfter the last attack on my child, I called the policeThe CMPD told me that the apartment manager should be handling this

Apartment complex will not complete maintenance issues with apartment
The lights went out in most of the apartment when I unplugged a cord from the outlet in the living roomThat evening I submitted a work order to fix the problem and received a confirmation via emailI waited the entire day for someone to show up and fix the problem but no one from maintenance showed upI went to the office and was told to call the electric serviceI did and they told me the apartment complex was responsible for this sort of issue

Company made no attempt to contact me or collect money owed to them before sending the amount to a collection agency and in turn to my credit report

This complex is charging to valet trash and does not prorate based on days of services missed

After lease I rcvd a Move-put Statement in the mail itemizing charges back to 9/that s/b included in rent & came to my deposit exactlyFraudulent
The statement charged me for pest control, trash, water/sewer, bill processing, and final service fee from the move in date of 9/through short term lease move out 12/20, plus I literally moved out on my house sale closing date of 11/so the unit was vacant and there was no water or trash useThe charges itemized should have been covered by rent but were charged to my deposit as of 12/20/for the exact deposit amount months after rent was paid per lease agreementThis is fraudulent and my deposit should be refunded in fullI left the unit in pristine condition and never even moved furniture into it; I slept on an inflatable mattress and was there only while house hunting and during escrow so very minimal unit use at all

My roommate and I have lived in this apartment since February of Before moving in, we did a walk through of all the things that needed to be fixed before the move in date (which was in one week later)Come move in day nothing had been touched but we didn't have a choice but to move inWe expressed the concerns once again with the officeNothing was touched for about 2-monthsIt has been a continuous fight to get things fixed in a timely manner and when they do "fix" things its usually just a temporary/ half-done jobI've listed a few of the work orders that we have had ongoing for a month or two below
