I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues in reference to complaint #[redacted]. I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.However,  I would like to go on record by saying that Minute Clinic only responded to my complaint after I filed this claim. Over a year of lying to me and brushing me off in the hopes they could extort money from my family instead of doing their job properly became a significant burden. Numerous calls, made by my husband, went unresolved. He had spent many hours on the phone with the insurance company and on hold, trying to speak to someone above the primary contact level at Minute Clinic. Numerous empty promises of contact by a supervisor and the resulting claim by collections have convinced me that Minute Clinic either has NO interest in properly doing their job or they have THE WORST EMPLOYEE TRAINING PROGRAM IN THE COUNTRY! I completely regret ever using this service and will never again in the future.

Thank you for forwarding Ms. [redacted]’ complaint.  MinuteClinic leadership has spoken to the patient to clarify the lab test ordered and reminded Ms. [redacted] that the bill she is receiving is from the lab, not MinuteClinic.  Further, Ms. [redacted] was advised that her insurance company’s denial...

of the lab bill is an issue she needs to discuss with her insurer, and relates to the contract between the insurance company and the lab, a relationship which does not involve MinuteClinic.  MinuteClinic has reviewed the patient’s chart and has determined that issuance of the lab order was clinically appropriate and in accordance with the standard of medical care.

I have called the patient and left a message with my direct number. Patient will not be billed until this has been processed through to insurance correctly.

On 4/2/2016 I was told the company would contact me regarding my complaint. No one has contacted me, so I do not consider my complaint resolved. I would like a refund.
