Legal Version
We warranty all automotive parts to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for the period specified on your invoice. It begins from the date
purchased. This warranty does not apply to parts unless the installation
instructions are followed in their entirety. If instructions are not available
the work should be performed by a licensed mechanic.
This warranty does not cover any expenses incurred in the
removal and / or reinstallation of the auto part. Specifically, this warranty
does not cover any expenses for TIME, RENTAL, OR OTHER PARTS not
purchased from us, or ANY LABOR. This warranty covers fixing or replacing
the part only. This warranty is offered only to the original purchaser of the
part. This warranty does not apply, and will be voided, if the auto part sold
has been damaged by abuse, misuse, accident, neglect, or alteration, or if it
has been repaired by anyone other than us. Your warranty will be null and
void if the part fails due to improper installation. If the auto part sold
should prove defective in material or workmanship within the warranty period,
return the auto part to us, postage prepaid, along with your sales invoice. Your
dated invoice will establish your eligibility for the warranty. We will, at our
option, replace or repair the part free of charge and return it to you postage
prepaid.
If the terms of a warranty which are agreed upon
between a customer and a representative of BuyAutoParts.com for an order
placed over the phone differ from the standard warranties available for
a part for purchase on BuyAutoParts.com, then the terms agreed upon
during that phone conversation,
documented in the internal customer file, and included in the original
order invoice are binding.
THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR ANY

Dear [redacted],
I was indeed given a refund, but it was NOT due
to an “exception.”  I was given a refund
because the AC Compressor that your company sent to me was defective and it
states in your contract that “We warranty all automotive parts to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for the period specified on your invoice.” Since the part was not
free from defects I was given a refund. 
Set aside from the refund
of the defective AC Compressor, the matter at hand involves the damage that was
done to my condenser due to your defective AC Compressor.  I feel that the company has a moral responsibility
to compensate for damages that their parts essentially were the cause of.  You claim that your part is of “premium quality" – IT IS
NOT.  You claim that your parts are "built
for trouble-free ownership” – IT IS NOT as I have had troubles from the
start.  You claim that your part is “100%
visually inspected and quality tested.” – IT IS NOT because if it were I would
not have received a defective part.  And
finally your company claims that your part is “backed by our 100% satisfaction
guarantee" – really? Well, IT IS NOT. 
Again if it were I would not be going through this song and dance with
you.  Your company makes all these claims
to warrant sales and then your company doesn’t own up to them when something
really bad actually occurs. 
Your company should refund me
the money that was spent on the condenser repair as it would not have occurred if
it wasn’t for your defective AC Compressor.
I also feel that other
consumers should be aware of your false claims/advertising that you label your parts,
as it is all inaccurate.  Consumers
should do a Google search on your company and look up reviews on other sites. A
little research could go a long way - hopefully they will make the right
decision and choose to purchase elsewhere.

Buyautoparts brand turbocharger. This is an original fitment unit, not a
performance upgrade. This was purchased by you without any assitance
from a representative....

Since you now want to return the part, it falls
under our normal refund policy. This includes a 15% restocking fee and

yes I got my money back but where is it ok for a company to keep a part for over a week and not refund the money? I was unable to fix my car and had to use a rental car because you would not refund my money promptly. Every time I called it was pushed back farther and farther. This is not acceptable business practice and I am not happy.

The business gave me a refund for the part but they gave it to me minus the supposed cost of shipping which was more than $50 even though I have them recorded on a phone call claiming they would pay 100% of the shipping cost to return the product. Totally dissatisfied with this nightmare of a business. They don't make money by selling parts but rather by overcharging people on shipping cost.

I telephoned your company to be assured that I was ordering the proper parts, and I spoke to [redacted] via live chat who also assured me that I was ordering the correct parts for my vehicle. On top of that, somehow, someway the initial order was placed for two sets of headlights and one of your representatives telephoned me before shipping them out to verify the quantity of the order, and again, at that time, he and I confirmed my order being correct for my vehicle with me providing the VIN number. I'm happy to provide the VIN number again today, as well as the live chat print out with [redacted] who assured me that the return shipping cost and everything would be refunded since the parts did not fit my vehicle correctly. I've been accused of installing the parts to my vehicle, which I did not. I spoke to a supervisor named [redacted], who I was later told there is no [redacted] working there. I left countless voicemails for your company because I could not get a hold of a live human being on multiple calls and was never phoned back. I'm asking for nothing more than what is promised on the website, return the items if they do not fit correctly and you would be paying for shipping in both directions. I will not be satisfied until that is done, as I have done everything in my power to follow the guidelines of your advertisement.as per the last response through the Revdex.com you accused me of ordering HID headlights, which I did not. Now you're accusing me of ordering the wrong parts, which I did not. I'm permitting my VIN number to be disclosed for you and your company to match with the parts that you sent me and received in return to confirm that they would be the correct parts for my vehicle. that should put a closed any question of any wrongdoing on my part.

This is not an issue of a defective part. It is an issue of 3 defective parts all of which were propriety. This company is both the manufacturer and distributor o this particular part. It falls outside of the normal preview as they both make and distribute this particular part. Again we aren't the testing ground for their proprietary products and can't afford to operate as such. I have a measurable $696 loss in my business because of their failed product. I need to be reimbursed.

I stated to the representative that the parts did not match and it would cost me 500 in labor to because that was the cost for the Mechanic to pull the part to compare or match up the parts, and the mechanic evening call the Shock manufacture for install instruction is how they found out that the parts was not OEM, but after mark. evening if I return the parts, I will be out of 500 dollars and it would cost me additional 500 plus in labor to install OEM parts. My old shocks was no good to put back on the truck.  This matter is not resolved. What is my legal right and what legal action can I use to get this resolved, because I am not going to pay combine total of 1000 to get the OEM parts put on.
