I would give zero stars if I couldState Farm started to handle the claim of my car accident because their driver was at faultThey stated they were covering the loss of my vehicle and they sent me an approval letter of what they were paying out to the finance companyI signed over a power of attorney and had it notarized as they requested to hand over the title upon their paymentWhen days passed and the finance company didn't receive the payment I called State Farm and they said the payment was on hold because they made the mistake of agreeing to the payout amount before realizing their driver's policy covered lessIt has been almost a month and they cannot tell me if they are going to follow through with their agreement that was sent to me in writingThis is actually illegal because they are not following through with their agreement which is in writingThey will not allow me to speak with a manager, and now after almost a month I have to open another claim through my insurance, in which they too have been denied the right to speak to a managerDrivers beware if you are in an accident, even if they tell you it doesn't matter which insurance you do a claim through, it really does and if it is State Farm they do not care about any legalities eitherI am now seeking legal counselThey should not be allowed to get away with this type of moral

On October 4, at approximately 1:19pm, one of State Farm's insured struck my vehicle from behindThe bumper was okay but I have been experiencing back neck pain as well as my daughter who was in the backseatI called and reported the case to State Farm that same day and was told someone would reach out to me a about business daysTwo weeks later, no call and I do not know who will be paying for my visit to the doctor

I am currently undergoing an auto claim thru state farm where my vehicle was involved in hail damage and flooding on July 21st, 3.40pm, and I am still waiting for state farm to approve my claims for the damaged bumpers and shocks that were effected due to this major hail and flooding event that I experiencedI have been calling many times, and each time I call I get the run aroundMoreover, representatives are questioning the damages as if my story is unrealState farm is handling this whole situation very poorly and at this point I am completely distressed with state farms actionsI had 2, 6-year-old kids in the car, it was hailing and flooding heavily I had trees falling in front of my vehicle and branches and trunks floating over the powerful water streams hitting my carI was in fear for the kids life as well as mine and had to drive forward, where I drove over tree trunk (having them stuck in-between my two back tires for more than a mile) and bump them out of the way to get to safety with my vehicle, and instead of my auto insurance company (State Farm) helping me thru this devastating situation I am simply been mistreated and harassedI'm asking for a knowledge manager to please contact me regarding this matterI always have go out of my way to contact state farm back regarding the delay and when I hear back from Lindsey, she stated for me to purchase my own shocks because they were not going to cover it in my claimI asked to please give me an explanation why not? she simply said this kind of damages happen to these vehicles!!! (therefore they cant give me proof of grounds of claim rejectionI've been waiting days for my claim to be approved, giving me the runaround, being rude, not hearing my situationState Farm is a dishonest company which is carelessplease be careful when selecting this companyI will share this story everywhere possible because they do not stand with their word as stated on their website (being there when we most need them)

In May 2014, I added my Ford pickup while it was being restored submitting the photos required and State Farm classified it a private vehicle instead of an antique per the antique car underwriters section They reasoning was that the truck was not yet drivable Supposedly corporate would not classify it as an antique until it was fully restored so they could "properly" appraise the value Therefore, I continued to pay premiums for the period May - August totaling $
On February 2016, after receiving my restored aforementioned truck, I drove it to my State Farm agent's office at which time he took updated photos and all other advised documentation, as required by corporate, and submitted them for the updated appraisal and reclassification to antique status to lower my premium My wife and I then left on a road trip to visit family / friends to celebrate my retirement

I am not one of those people that try to bilk insurance companies with frivolous claims and I hadn't filed a claim in many yearsIn the summer of 2016, a semi threw a rock and cracked my windshieldI called my State Farm agent and was told that even though I had comprehensive and collision coverage, the windshield wasn't coveredComprehensive covers glass breakage so why wasn't I covered? If a pipe were to burst, I am covered but because this was ground water, I am notSemantics againIf not in a flood plain and not intentional, water damage is water damageThis is a terrible companyDon't risk your home or vehicles with State Farm's non coverage insurance

On January 2018, I financed a Jayco travel trailer and submitted all paperwork to have automated withdrawal out of my *** bank account and into the State farm bank account where State farm would would receive monthly paymentThis is the second month that State farm calls me regarding late payment on the Jayco travel trailerLast month State farm called me regarding my late payment and told me to fix the issue with the local bussiness who handled my financing paperwork,so I didI ask several times if the agent needed anyhing else from me and she replied no,that I shouldnt worry about itSo a couple of days ago I get a phonecall regarding late payment and I hang up and call the agent who handled the financing paperwork and ask her what is going on and she replies that it is my responsibility to find out what is going onI contacted state farm today to have them call me since there isnt a way of getting in touch with them and I have not received a single email or call

Bought a house I march State Farm agent Mike Saurs office was to give me a quote for insurance but instead his employees gave me insurance anyway without my knowledge even though I was going with another insurance companyThe Agent said I filled out a application saying I was taking State Farm insurance The bank and I have no such application that was filled out by me I've reported it as fraud and requested a refund since there's no evidence of me excepting this insurance and State Farm is refusing to help

I been with State Farm Insurance for yearsI been paying my premium always on-time Just recently, my rental property have a water damage State Farm sent someone over to perform a cost estimate The cost of replaced the pipe is not covered under insurance as it consider wear and tear but I could get only reimburse with the flooring only They claimed that I only gets fractions of the cost and of course it would be below my deductible so they don't have to pay me a dime

I was called out of the blue by an agent at State Farm "Your accident no longer affects your premiums, and we can offer you a much better deal than your current insurer" So, I switchedThen, I got the call that (woops) they were three months off and that for three months I'd still have to pay the higher premium But in October, the rates would go downIt's nearing October, and I just got my renewal notice "Your rates aren't going down due to premium hikes across the industry!"
Can you believe it? I couldn't either, so I called my previous insurer (A***) and am now working to get back with them THEY never lied to me! Sayonara, State Farm You will forever be in my rearview mirror!
