We changed insurance companies to State Farm on October 8th We have had issues continuously since then
We have a date gap, our insurance was to start on October 8th and they did not start our policy till October 10th
I was never given documents to physically sign and was talked to over the phone by Daniel Woelk about our policy and expressed to him that we wanted rental and auto policy for our vehicles and that it was just my husband and INo mention ever about a health insurance/hospital policy
We got numerous letters in the mail that added a Mike Traficanti to our policyWhen I called to question this random person (it was just this person and my husbands name, mine was not on it) I was told that Mike lived in our home and he had to be on the policyMy husband and I are the only ones living here and have no idea who Mike Traficanti is
We continued to receive documents adding Mike to our policy, we continued to call and inform them of the issu

In my car was damaged and the tires flattened driving through a construction zoneNo ticket was issued by the responding officerState Farm sent a tow truck from over an hour away despite there being a local contractor that was availableI chose a repair shop and was sent to an old address - an empty building - at 11pmThankfully I still had battery life on my phone to look up the correct address myselfAbout months later I was involved in a 'pedestrian accident' in a parking lot that was likely a scamThe 'victim' told the responding officer it was her fault and no ticket was issuedThe 'victim' later called me asking for money for medical expensesI offered to file a claim for her as she declined to do so herselfNo money was paid out as she did not provide any documentation to State FarmI was charged with an accident by State FarmA few months after that I was broadsided and the car totaledMy fault, so I thought it fair that they cancelled meThat said, the claims process was a nightmareMy rental was cancelled promptly after they totaled the car, with only days notice, forcing me to rush to purchase another vehicleThey sent my car to a salvage yard over hours away, so it was impractical to access it personallyThe agent did not advocate for me when the salvage company apparently would only send the items I specifically listed from my carWho can list all the things they have in a car they have owned years? It took them a month to send me my plates and my phone! Frustrated, I asked (through State Farm) to have *everything* down to the lint under the seats sent to meAgain, they sent only what I could name/describeI was a bit surprised when State Farm canceled me - only one accident was my fault, but ok, they paid out on claims in a yearI told them to cancel my homeowners at the same time so I could bundle with another insurance companyI made this request repeatedly on the phone and by emailAs often as not, calls were not returnedIt is now months later and they finally complied after I threatened to report them to regulatory agencies if they did not

After being with State Farm for years at our Lindenhurst address and years in Lake Villa, State Farm chose to drop us for filing legitimate claimsI have been a loyal customer and I used my insurance to fix issues that needed fixing on my houseI believe each of the issues were linked to each otherThe first was to replace a roof due to hail damage and the second was to fix a huge leak that was causing health issues and was beginning to destroy the ceilings in our foyer and garage!
Like the advertising says for Liberty Mutual, why pay for insurance if you are going to be punished for using it?
I understand that State Farm dropped a number of the customers in our neighborhood who had similar claimsWhere is our protection from these vultures?

Lucy Brogla's office "assumed" my address was incorrect, used an old renter's policy from more than years ago to update their system, and then continued to send mail and messages to incorrect addresses and phone numbers
As a result, she ended up cancelling my policy because she could not contact me for payment
When I called to remedy the situation, Lucy was less than helpful
I called corporate customer service on separate occasionsI filed a complaint with them, and was instructed to return to Lucy's office and file an appeal with her, as corporate cannot help anyone, the Agent themselves must correct the issue
On Thursday, July 27th, I entered Lucy's office around 3pmLucy told me that they had the right addressI told her that they did now, but my email was still wrong and I just came to file an AppealLucy refused to file an appeal and stated it was at her discretionI told Lucy I was going to call corporate then while I was in her office so we could all talk at

Scott Johnson (State Farm insurance) increased our policy by 300% within a months period and when I decided to switch company they with held a considerable portion of our insurance claiming is policy changesI initially sign up and was paying $in November In March they increased the policy to $claiming that we have a young driver although they had the information 4/months agoIn June my credit was very high and after reviewing it I noticed they changed the policy $on May and $on June We were so disgusted because we never had an accident, no claim, Im with a license over yrs my inlaw Kamar Edwards is with a license going into yrs plus we had the minimum coverage which was liability coverageMy wife quickly got another insurance policy 5-daysWe thought they were going to outlined that an error was made but we were told that our next bill would reduce to $which was totally ridiculousWe could not have done anything about the May

I requested a HO(Rental Condominium Unitowners) insurance policy back in June from the State Farm agency of Donna Lavin and was quoted a price over the phone for the policy I was told it could be paid in installments for a fee or in full at the time of purchase for no fee I opted for the second option and paid the policy in full Later that day I received a Declarations page for the policy showing that it was in effect from June 2nd, to June 2nd, Earlier this month I received a Notice of Cancellation for March 13th, if a balance of $is not paid I called the agency to determine why I am receiving a bill for an additional amount when I paid the policy in full at time of purchase At first they could not determine why I was being billed when I paid the amount that was originally quoted to me I was told they would contact their home office and call me back with an explanation I received a call later that day and was advised that sometimes the price

I am reaching out to you to help resolve an issue with an open claim we haveWe are not a State Farm customer, but we’re hit by A State Farm customerThe vehicle that was damaged is our work and personal vehicleBeing a large family (of us), we need a large vehicle to accommodate the family and a vehicle with a hitch to pull a trailer for workThe rental companies (Enterprise and Hertz) that State Farm contracts with, do not permit towing with their SUV’sState Farm set us up to get a truck through Enterprise and was supposed to coordinate an SUV with them for a scheduled family vacation we had over the past weekendThe reservation for the SUV was never set up and Enterprise ran out of vehicles due to the holiday weekendI called back in to State Farm late in the week, and a representative manually set up a reservation with Hertz for the SUV for 5/25-5/This morning, I received a voicemail from State Farm that they were going to cancel the reservations since we had the truc

When I purchased the policy after I bought a new vehicle I was told a bunch of liesI had liability on my prior vehicle and then renters on my apartment previouslyThey told me my monthly payments would be $but ended up being $Told me my first bill would be higher because of the switch from old to new vehicle which I understood but after that it still ended up being $then when I call them they act like they don't know anything about itThen proceeds to tell me that policies went up statewide and I had no knowledge of thatBottom line is they are a bunch of crooksTell you one thing and do the otherI purchased from *** ***s agency in Jackson, TNHad to end up cancelling the policy all together

I have been dealing with my Home Insurer now for the past months in reference to my damaged roof which was damaged from the November storms of this past winter year, I had *** Roofing come out to assess my damage and I was told by Ricky *** that the roof was damaged and I need to contact my assiigned agent, MrGreg *** I did so and an a Claims Adjuster was sent out who was very incompetent and was not sure how many shingles were actually damaged by the stormFirst he said 8, then the Roofing Contractor, Ricky, who inspected the roof as well told him no, not its a total of The Claims Adjuster kept asking me the same questions over and over again about the roofi kept telling this Claims Adjuster, MrBrian ***, over and over "Sir, I have water coming through my Ceiling fan onto my Kitchen table and floor, the roof has extensive damages from the storm as Ricky told me and the Claims Adjuster kept asking me the same questionsHe then called me on a Sun

Im currently going through a divorce and my husband stopped paying my car insurance. On October the 8th, I called and spoked with a MsLinda an employee there and asked if my insurance was paidShe asked me what prompted me to call and askI thought that was strange to ask a customer but I responded I needed to knowShe told me my husband card didn't go throughI gave her my *** credit card to pay my insurance of $and she asked if I wanted my receipt emailed to me and I said yesSince October 8th,until this very day of November 10th, I have not received an email stating I paid my insurance from my personal credit card not my husband'sTwo weeks before November 10th,I called again asking for a receiptIt appears that they will not give me one but its reflected on my credit card that they took a paymentI want my receipt

For the payment of body injury in a car accident ( for missing work and hurting, $)they asked my SSNI did some research that I shouldn't give my SSN to them
I requested them to give me the federal or IL Law or regulation that I have to give them SSN for this payment and them just ignored me

My vehicle was involved in an auto accident on Jan 25thState Farm offered to tow my vehicle to one of their 'select service' body shops for an estimate and possible repair, I agreedState Farm had my car towed to Tim Murphy's Collision in Baltimore, MarylandAfter a few days went past with no update I received an estimate on Jan since the office was closed Sat/Sun I waited until Mon to call and get access to my account to review the estimateI never received a call or message from neither the body shop nor State Farm on the status of my vehicleAfter reading reviews on the shop online I was skeptical on having them work on my car since I knew the vehicle had substantial damage to the right rear so I was extremely worried, I did not want a quick Band-Aid job that would jeopardize the safety of myself and my year old childMy boyfriend headed down to Tim Murphy to check out the shop only to find they already had begun working on my vehicle without authorization and had placed aftermarket parts on my vehicleAfter speaking with my claim representative Mitzi she stated that when they faxed the repair order to the shop that was my authorizationI knew this was incorrect and while at the shop I spoke with the owner over the phone, I asked them why I wasn’t contacted to get approval before beginning to work on my vehicleThe owner got extremely nasty with me and requested that we fix things w/o getting State Farm involvedI said noThe police ended up being called to the scene and I requested my vehicle be pulled out that shopAfter going back and forth with my claim representative Mitzi ( who is EXTREMELY rude) I was told that the auto body shop decided they no longer wanted to work on my car and it had to be picked upMitzi stated that the auto shop had offered to pay to tow it to another shop which all felt fishy to me so I paid out of pocket to tow the car to another select service location of my choice, Chesapeake CollisionUpon picking up my car I was told I had to take the parts the body shop ordered and sign a handmade receiptI refused to sign for parts I couldn’t verify were thereAt this point I was on the phone with a State Farm representative who assured me I did not have to sign the paperI finally was able to get them to see that Tim Murphy was clearly in the wrong for trying to give me a rush job and not even following proper protocolState Farm's website clearly states that "Only YOU can authorize repairs to your vehicle"The estimate went from about $6,in damage to about $13,once the new shop made its own estimateTim Murphy also sent a representative to this shop while we were signing authorization documents to get them to take the parts ordered and sign the same handmade receiptThe shop also refused to sign and to take the partsAfter leaving the sketchy bodyshop you would think that the nightmare was over? NOT! It was only half time, Chesapeake Collision reassured me that my vehicle would be ready prior to March 22, that date was changed to March 24, and then on March it still wasn’t completeAfter waiting over two months for my vehicle it is still NOT COMPLETE and at this point, State Farm has already stopped paying for my rental car so I’ve been paying out of pocket for a car rental for over a month in addition to my monthly insurance premiumNot once did anyone from State Farm call to check on my vehicle or to see how I was able to manageAt this point I am beyond furious due to the lack of communication and customer service from both the body shop and State FarmAfter promising me that my vehicle would be ready on Friday 3/22/17, there was another delayMy car needed an alignment and could not be done without all new tiresI agreed to pay for new tires so that the alignment would be done on the condition on my vehicle being ready the following MondayI showed up Monday to pick up my vehicle and of course it was not readyI waited hours for my car and when they finally presented it to me, I was told of interior damages that weren't fixedI refused to take the vehicle because I did not wait over months for my car to be ready to only find out that it wasn't ready and to still have concerns regarding the safety of the vehicle ( driver car seat & air bag were still not functioning)When my car first got to Tim Murphy there were no damages to the interior of the vehicleWhen it arrived to the new bodyshop, Chesapeake Collision, there were so many damages in the interior, to include the driver door mirror button was completely gone, driver side seat no longer functioning, dents on the steering wheel emblem (as if someone literally used a hammer and smashed it), push to start button missing and airbag light onWe are now going into April and I still don't have my vehicle back in my possession yetNow I’ve been instructed to open an additional vandalism claim AND pay a $deductible for damage that State Farm’s select service didThis will surely be my first and LAST experience with State Farm“Like a Good Neighbor” State Farm is NOT there!

I paid off a loan and they reported it as a charge off on my credit in errorI called to have them fix it but they are unable to fix it right away, and asked me to fill out a dispute and submit my payoff letter with it

I sold my previous car that was financed through State Farm Bank in AugustThe dealership called State Farm Bank got my pay off amount and my informationThe dealership sent the pay off check in SeptemberMy boyfriend also financed through State Farm Bank and I co-signed on itMy boyfriend tried to call State Farm Bank to make a payment for his car and was told his car was paid offHe asked who had paid it off and they said the dealership I bought my new car atHe told them they had made a mistake and they simply blew it offI called to find out about my old car and it still wasn’t paid offWe called them multiple times to try to sort it out and had to call the dealershipFinally after months the dealership helped me and called State Farm BankThe bank realized their mistake finally and said they would pay it offTwo weeks later I was still getting phone calls and letters in the mailThey informed me they wouldn’t pay my car off until they got my boyfriends titleThey wo

I signed up for an annual renter's policy with State Farm in January In September of 2016, I moved, and called to update my policy to cover my new addressI was told by the customer service person on the phone that my coverage had been updated, and was sent a new bill to cover the new from September - September
When I received a new bill this September for the new year, I realized that State Farm had continued insuring my old address instead of the new one I had called them to updateMy insurance agent has been poor at responding to emails, and hasn't responded to my request to confirm which address was insured last yearI also submitted a request on their website last week, and have received no responseI do not have time to spend on the phone with them, especially when they failed to do what I asked them to last time

I've had State Farm for about years and they've been one problem after another unfortunately Kept my value and rates high despite the economic recession of 2007-2009, refused my current home inspection and only considered the year old original purchase inspection for value Only after the county accepted my new home inspection for adjustment to my taxes, State Farm changed my value and rate b/c I told them I was leaving Refused to take my ex-wife off the policy, even though she was gone and no longer on the loan or deed...they tried to say she had to agree with being taken off the policy That would've required me to get her signature on a check for any future claims, State Farm didn't care...they finally took her name off when I declared I was leaving A cracked pipe in my attic flooded my home this year, State Farm took a month to process my claim...while I mopped and soaked up my home They ended up writing the claim check in my and my lender's name and tried to declare it was state law (multiple times)...their legal department finally confirmed it was not state law, just market practice My lender would not sign the check for fixing the damages unless you agree to do the work within days or be considered in default of the mortgage My lender also tried to require their own home inspection afterwards, otherwise be considered in default of the mortgageIn the end, State Farm looked out for everyone but my family...they are a train wreck of an insurance company...I would not recommend anyone consider them for home owners insurance

In December 2015, I was involved in a "not at fault" accident and received a speeding ticket in the same day due to being in a school zone without realizingSince then, I paid their premium increases every months for the ticket, and was promised that things would get better once I hit years of serviceNow, in January I had my only at fault accident and state farm has decided to not renew my coverage in August when I would hit years and be eligible for my rates to come back downMy agent agrees this treatment is unfair and appealed on my behalf only to be told they see a trend that shows I am uninsurable...from event...they do not have any data to support any trend other than I pay my bill on time every monthThe appeals process is infuriating and the agents who are tasked with giving the news do not have any information to support their decisionI'm unable to contact anyone with state farm to complain to or receive helpState farm sold me on their customer service an

I've been a customer of State Farm Auto Insurance for over years and on April 18, while in the bed sleeping, someone ranned into my vehicle and left the sceneState Farm totalled out my vehicleAfter getting the payoff amount on my vehicle from my lender, I was informed they would only pay for my rental car for only days and after that I am responsible for the remaining days that I need the rental and to inform *** Leasing to extend their (State Farm) rates to meNow I am not only out of a vehicle, but also out of pocket expenses I thought they were to allow me to stay in the rental car until I get another one My credit union was waiting for them to pay off my vehicle, before they give me the loan for the vehicle that I already chooseInstead of been there for me they left me carless, but they made sure they took my car insurance payment out of my bank accountThis no way they should treat a faithful customerState Farm do not car about how I get to and from

I was advised from an agent that the roadside assistant covered unlimited miles, during the date that I was needed of a tow, they advised me that it was only covering miles from the location of work, I have cancelled my AAA service because the agent did advised me it was unlimited miles from during a tow, this was incorrect information, when I called the office where my policy was opened with State farm, the agent was very nice and advised me that they will give me a refund for the amount of the tow of additional miles needed to bring back my car homeI just received a letter from state farm that they are not going to refund me anything from this tow and they are very sorryI am a person that rather have the truth and not lies to sign me up to your company, instead I have getting the run around from this office since the day I started my policy

I was a year customer of State Farm I got married and bought a house and had to add my wife to my policy, so I requested a new quote from my agent listed on my auto insurance card I was told I could not get a quote because my auto policy was at a different office because my original agent had died, and the policy would have to be transferred to the correct office The policy was transferred to my agent's office and the office automatically made changes to my home and auto, they did not give me an updated quote or add my wife to the policy I decided to switch insurance providers and instead of receiving the full pro-rated amount of my refund, they deducted an amount due to "Changes" of the policy Instead of providing me with an updated quote, I was charged for "changes" they made and the quote cost me
