State Farm reinstated auto coverage without my approval months after cancellation, and will not issue a refund
On February 4th 2016, I cancelled a Specialty Auto Policy with State Farm, as I was moving to another state and the quoted price was too high in the new stateAt that time, I transferred my renter's coverage to the new stateOn May 1st, my specialty auto coverage was apparently reinstated by State Farm Headquarters, and a letter was sent from my local agent to my former address, which I never receivedI did not realize this change had happen, and because I was enrolled with AutoPay and eBilling, I was never notified of any changes nor did I have to physically write out any checksThe money was automatically pulled out of my checking account without my knowledgeOn July 25th I was going through my bank records and realized that my payment to State Farm had jumped up ~$per monthI called my agent and got to the bottom of the issue, at which point, they cancelled

Dave Reighly Retired a year or more ago and his accounts were transferred to other Agents Ours was transferred to Krina Mallgren located at Sprague and Evergreen Spokane Valley, WA I am semi retired and my car is small and does not take up a full parking space where I work at McDonalds Restaurant Sullivan Spokane Valley, WA My husband and I have been with State Farm for plus years On Sept 17, I got off work around 4:PM I still had my foot on my brake and was being very careful because drivers come from different directions racing to get in line at our very, very busy drive thru A small Suburu Legacy Wagon hit me hard before I was out of my parking spot and did not stop until the young driver saw there was no way out due to the drive thru having cars in it He parked spaces away from where he hit me, therefore not allowing me a chance to take pictures at the scene of the Accident He apologized several times and said he didn't see me until it was too late My agent Krina told me when I took my car to her office to take pictures that their adjusters were very good and they would be able to tell how fast he was going by the damage to both cars He was still going fast before he stopped However, that was not what happened I took my car for an estimate and pictures before he did I don't know why it took him a month plus to do so but State Farm found me at fault before they got his estimate and pictures because I was attempting to back They didn't look at the fact that he came out of nowhere because he sped into the parking lot and he hit me I maintain that I did nothing wrong Plus he lied and said he was parked and I backed into him until State Farm had him do a recorded statement and Krina said he changed his story and that our stories matched If our stories matched why didn't State Farm check his damage which appeared to me was sideswipe damage from the back door to the front passenger side door because he did not stop He hit me hard enough that my alignment is slightly off We are so angry with the fact that they cut him a check without any investigation of the circumstances of what happened I have a 1,dollar deductible and can not get my car fixed until I can work extra shifts to save the money This accident was not my fault and we are changing ALL of our policies with State Farm and are now shopping for the best Company to go with I would not recommend anybody to use State Farm and especially Krina Mallgren as an agent because she lied to me regarding that the adjusters were very good and would be able to determine how fast he was going and than put the blame on me before even seeing damage to his vehicle

What terrible customer serviceI was a customer for almost decades I finally cancelled march 23, 2018, because our rates got so exhorbinate March 29, 2018, they took dollars out of my checking account Its now april 16th, 2018, and I have received one dollar check in the mail so far All they will say is, we are working on it, basically quit calling it will get done when it gets done

On October 24th I called the office to inform them we donated our Honda accord to Kars for Kids I was then told our rate will increase because we will no longer have multi-car discountThat is the policy, I then asked to be sent a list of all coverages so we can comparison shop We made our monthly payment on 10/and received a cancellation notice in the mail on November 3rdWe never asked to cancel our policy only to comparison shop They never had any issues or late payments from us in over years The service is unacceptable, I want a full refund for our payment
