Our local office, *** ***, raised our rates recently so we went with different insurance providerState Farm owed us a refund for the remainder of the policy that was left overThis was in October, and it is now DecEvery time I call they say the check has been sent out and to wait to business daysThe check never comes, and so I call and they say the same thing, hence why its been monthsTried calling corporate and they just transfer me non stop to many departmentsNeither of which can help me, and transfer me againToday I'm filing my complaint because once again they promised a check

This place has withdrawn more money than my monthly rate is, using the auto pay option This has happened on more than one occasion Their excuse is to blame corporate, and say that a refund is not possible The most recent occurrence was on Feb 26, where they took out $instead of the $ When we spoke, they blamed a typing error (again) and informed me that I am not getting a refund this time either....they want to credit my account But not until I pay this month's bill....which is also higher than $ It is, and They agreed that the number is incorrect, $this month But I still cannot get a refund, for EITHER of the months ....my account will "be credited"...butonly AFTER I pay them more than I owe them AGAIN!???? Nope This is the last straw I cannot afford to pay this extra money right now I cannot afford to lend them money either That's what this feels like....except they didn't ask to borrow....they just took This is wrong

My name is *** *** and I am a customer with Bradford O’Neills St Louis State Farm officeI’ve been a customer since May of this yearI am required through the State of Illinois to carry sr-for yearsWhen I signed up, they failed to send the required paperwork to the state and my license was suspended
My license was reinstated on July 10th only they filed it wrong and my license was again suspend and is still currently suspended since August 13th
The people at the office, Toni, Andrew, Rachel have all promised us that they would take care of it and overnight us the paperwork so my wife could drive me to Springfield Illinois to get license reinstated

Skip the higher prices and go with cheaper insurance companyPaying a high rate does not mean you will be treated any better! You are a payment and numberNothing more20+ years with State Farm, and they are disputing 1.5% ($79.19) for a total loss my van, and this based off their arbitrary 75% cutoff for vehicle repairs! Refused to even discuss letting me use a local body shop with much cheaper rates! Plus they are counting my deductible in the total cost of the repair! State farm is not a good neighborTheir client damaged my vehicle and they did not fix all the damage they're client causedThey low balled the estimate hoping we would just accept the check, we opted to have it repaired, the repairs cost over double the amount they offered us in the checkThey said it was prior damage although it was not and refused to fix the damage caused by their clientI would avoid them as an insurer and pray that you don't have a claim with themI would and will avoid them at all costsSee others reviews online and you'll understand my frustrationI'm not the firstThey won't stay in business with these type of practicesThey make you Jim though a million hours and hours you'll just give up
