Hi! Im looking to see if I have any optionsMy car that I had for 1/weeks was involved in an accidentThe other guy is at faultWe both have the same insurance company, State FarmThe insurance company gave me a rental to use while they were determining either to fix my car or cut me a check for total lossThey determined they were going to cut me a check and now they need the rental backHowever, since I only had the vehicle for a short time, the title isn't is my name yet even though I applied for it the day after I bought itThey won't give me any money until it's in my name and they have the title and won't let me continue to use the rental even though this wasn't my fault someone hit my parked car I had just boughtAny advice? Any way I can get them to keep letting me use rental until we get the title? Thank you!
We signed our daughter up for a life insurance plan as well as a college fund The office that we initially sighed up with, Miriam Lawson She now says she has nothing to do with our college fund and that we did not make our premium for the college fund and sent us a check We have not cashed the check because we, and she does not know what it is for I have called her multiple times and she says that she cannot help us I have called corporate and they don't seem to know how to answer We keep getting the run around from Miriam She is the worst agent we have ever had She knows nothing and never sends us notices until payment is due The payment requests are send the month they are due She never sent us the coupons to give to people to contribute to the college fund She has ruined our daughters financial future Her branch should be shut down I have every letter and every envelope Even thought letter come from her office, she states that they don't handle these claims
This branch contacted me while I wasnt shopping for insurance gave me an amazing rate I have vehicles Everything went well1st problem I submit my photos for my photo inspection and never spoke to anyone my dame coverage was dropped within weeks of me switching companiesI call , and emailTheyll get back to me they are working on it Then I get thru to stephen J***my rate at the end of the month is going to almost double what I was paying with my prior companyWorst service I cant get my old rate back eith my old company and pretty much I have to pay a higher rate thanks to them and the horrible service they provide thank you state farm
I've experiences the worst customer service from State Farm1) They referred you to body shops that do not use real diagnostics to access your damageInstead hunch and assumptions are taken as fact, at the cost of the car owner2) They do not follow through on their commitmentsFor example several times they committed to getting a tow truck to move my vehicle from shop to a 2nd so that I may get a second opinionMy vehicle was taken to the wrong locationThen it was lost and then they refuse to take it to the correct location, despite their promise to do so3) They do not listen to the word of seasoned experts to make their decisionsIf a certified mechanic, who often works with insurance companies to include State Farm, says the damage is caused by the accident, then the damage is cause by the accidentInstead they reply on their limited knowledge to make decisions based on picture4) You are not assigned a simple personAt no time in the entire process did I speak to the same person twiceWhen I asked to speak with the same person again, I was told that was not how they do businessThis is the same for managers5)Last I was not given a copy of my case notesInstead I was told I needed to get an attorney to get a copy via a suite6) Many of their representatives are rude and short, not caring about the drama or time spend trying to get their car back
I will never use State Farm again
My mother had state farm for home owner's and auto ins She recently passed away When her house sold the home owner's inswas dropped Which in turn added a charge onto the auto insurance which was paid every mosUnaware of the charge the auto insurance was dropped Uninsured motorist hit her car in the meantimeThey were unwilling to do anytaqahing to help except take more money from me After taking the extra $ for additional charges they said it was too later and after the factEven though they knew the circumstances before hand They strung me along for a week requesting paperwork, info, and money without a vehicle just to say sorry can't help
StateFarm payless in Seattle
Never before have I been treated so badly, was hit in my new Jeep by State Farm insured driverI took time off work and got two quotesState farm estimate was about $less than my quotes Now State farm wants a supplement form from Auto body shop regarding the differenceI thought simple enough let’s do this thru email…NOPE……The auto body shop doesn’t work with State farm but their other location does, so they want to send my car to another location, they will complete the form and now I would have to hassle with a rental car, which I was not asking State farm for, nor have I asked for any loss wages(when I took my vehicle to be looked at) or any medical You would think State farm would do, like G*** did and review my other quote, its only $diff, take into consideration it’s a brand new vehicle and say okay we will pay that, lets make you wholeNOPE!! Horrible way to handle this, as I was writing on f* *** many people responded and now I hear State farm is not that good to the people they insure, so I guess I cannot expect much from them
Despite proactively calling four different times about my car being at a junkyard in Salt Lake City and how that relates to my being able to get my belongings (the entirety of my belongings) out of it, I never got the truthInstead, I was told that the car is or would be at the junkyard on Thursday, July 12,
That informed me not only paying for a rental car, but also limiting the rental to being until Thursday, July State Farm has refused responsibility for that even though my understanding is that I wouldn't need the car past the 19th since my understandingThat is based on what State Farm people told me in the calls, that being that State Farm people would have inspected the car in time that a total loss payout would be issued to me before the 19th, meaning that I could get a new vehicle by then and thus not need to rent
On five or six different occasions, I explained this to Faith in the Washington officeYet, she refused to reimburse for rent payment beyond the 19th
I sold my condo in December and called my State Farm Agent Stan Clerkley's office to cancel the insurance I completely forgot about the refund I was supposed to receive until June when Stan's office called to say I didn't pay the renewal amount I explained the situation to them and drove to the state farm to give the rep a copy of my closing papers It took almost months for me to get a check in the mail for $which was the incorrect amount Once again I called and explained the situation and told them they have the paperwork and they assured me it will get fixed but still no check Since then I've made several more calls which the rep said a new check was issued but still no check This is absolutely ridiculous how I sold my condo in December and I have yet to receive a check for a refund I should not have to constantly keep calling the office It is not rocket science but for some reason it can't get done
On March 2018, I called customer service to cancel my policiesI work from 7:30am and 5:pm, any communication during regular business hours to conduct my personal business is difficultCustomer service communicated to me that they will cancel the policies and refund me the funds withdrawn from my checking account for the month of MarchThe account used is one for bill paying and not frequently checked since what is deposited and debited is usually the same each monthIn early July, I received a policy renewal from State FarmMy checking account has been charged from March to July, for a policy that is not in use or activeTo request a stop payment is another $to add to the total amount owedI called customer service to follow up and they had annotated in my records back in March to have the policy cancelled but it wasn’tThey said they had communicated this to my agent and they’ll communicate with him again and give him once again my email address since it’s my preferred
I went In to the Rosenberg State Farm office in April around the 3rd to add a Mazda to my policy and remove the ford rangerI also added my youngest son to the Hyundai as well and put my oldest son on the Hyundaimonths later I get a phone call from the finance company that I don’t have insuranceI called statefarm and was told they would look into it and figure it outIt did eventually get added and I was penealized for the months it was not added and told my bill would be for the month of JulyI did go in and pay in June to try and keep the hike downBut they also had my son down as a female and also forgot his good student discountWhich I have had to email every few weeks to try and get it all resolvedNow I get a cancellation notice because the bill was put on hold by them so they could fix it before it was an auto paymentWhich they should of had plenty of time to do because I contacted them early July and the bill was due the 28th of JulySo now for July and
I contacted my local State Farm agency and the owner name is Victor and when I did they gave me a quote and it was for $a monthAnd that was for me and my daughter's vehicle I immediately said that was a great "and to send the paperwork over and we did basically everything by phone and everything seemed like it was good to goI paid my 1st downpayment which was a $within a week I received paperwork in the mail that said I owed almost $for the payments! Obviously I was totally shocked by this when I call Victor every time I tried to evade questions and you can tell he was flat out lying about things! So he said he would get back to me even know I was freaking out I'm on so security disability and I made it crystal clear to them that I'm on a strict budgetSo days had passed he still had not called me back so I continuously called on a daily basis only to find out that they hadn't looked into it then I finally get a call back from one of his workers Calvin which basicall

I've had mixed experiences with State Farm, some good, some badI see people complaining about them raising our rates, and they do do thatI'm not sure if they have valid reasons for charging moreUsually when I call about the increases, they claim that it is because more accidents are occurring in my districtI don't really believe this explanationThere have been times State Farm has been quite good in covering my misfortunates, but there are two experiences that left me either less than satisfied or very unsatisfiedThe first one I want to warn people about is when an accident includes other State Farm insureesI was once rear ended by a women who had State Farm insurance, and the person who caused the accident was in front of me stopped in the left hand lane trying to make a left hand turn, but in reality, she should have been in the turn laneI didn't think anything about her being in the wrong laneI saw her and came to a stop behind her waiting for her to turnThe woman who hit my car was obviously not paying attention, and may have been on compromising medication because she had just recently had an operation and was on her way to see her doctorShe slammed so hard into my beautiful car that it crunched up around me like an accordion and spun my car into the turn laneI reported the accident to State Farm as I was supposed to do, and I got a lawyer, but he was not able to collect from the woman who hit me because of my reporting to State Farm about the accidentWe were able to collect from the person in front of me, but we should have been able to collect from both partiesState Farm representatives all acted so nicey-nice to me during all this, but it turned out it was only because they were trying to keep me from suing them for the derelict driver with State Farm who hit meIf you are in an accident with someone who has the same insurance as you, you might want to go to a lawyer firstThe second incident is another one that angers me, and actually may anger me even more than the first because I got blamed for an accident I did not causeNothing was reported right about this accident from the get-goI was at an unbusy intersection in broad daylight when the light changed to green; the vehicle on the other side of the intersection just sat thereThat driver was obviously distractedI don't know what he was doing, but it wasn't paying attention to his drivingI waited a couple of minutes before trying to make my left hand turn because that guy just sat thereI was not comfortable with this situation, so I proceeded cautiously out into the intersection, keeping a close eye on it, when a SUV came speeding into the intersection and slammed into my passenger side doorI know that vehicle was speeding because I was watching that area of the intersection and because I didn't even have time to put more pressure on the gas pedal to try and speed my vehicle upMy car got completely spun around, and I was taken into an ambulance to see if I might have a concussion or some serious injuryWhile in the ambulance, the policeman who came to investigate, was outside listening to the "so called" eyewitness and to the other driverWhen I got free from the ambulance, I finally got to tell my side of what happenedHe listened to me for only about two minutesI told my State Farm agent exactly what happened and even wrote up a report for them about itWhen I got my police report, nothing was correct on it, not the spot in the intersection where my car was hit, nor the information from the bystander nor from the man who hit meNot one thing I said about the man speeding into the intersection (he was probably trying to get though it because the light was changing by that time) nor about the other vehicle sitting there was mentionedI felt like I was being railroaded, and I didn't find out from State Farm until six months later that the witness was the distracted driver I had been complaining about all alongHe had stated to the police that I had obstructed his right of wayIf I knew this earlier, I would have gone to a lawyerWhen I complained to State Farm for not telling me this information (they changed claims agents on this accident midway through), the response I got was why would he have said what he said, and I responded by stating "So he wouldn't get blamed for causing the accident." I think if I hadn't been so depressed over this whole incident, I would have suedIn order to get an accurate police statement, I would have had to track down the police officer and get him to correct itSince he didn't seem to care about getting the information right from the very beginning (how could he not even put our vehicles in the right position? They were sitting right there in front of himHe moved the accident to the middle of the intersection when my car had almost completely made it out of itI'm thinking the officer changed the location on the advice of the distracted driver who was wanting to cover for himself by that time)That officer didn't listen to anything I had to say and took for granted that the two men he interviewed before me were telling the truthThey were both lying, and State Farm did nothing to try to clear any of this up or to tell me who the eyewitness was in spite of my protests, both written and verbal, about what these two offending and dangerous drivers had doneTo rub salt in my wounds, my rates went up for two yearsState Farm did a lousy job in handling this case and cost me money in the process
This office is a RIP OF! I paid on time yrs, my son has a accident and they cancelled meOn top of that they withdrew another payment from my account after they cancelled meThe worst part is after promising they would refund it back the same day, which they did notTwo days later they stated it was in the mail from the head officeOne week after that I went in to ask where is the money they illegally took from ,y account and they stated they could not refund it because it was for a March paymentLIES when have insurance companies allowed you to pay after they covered you for a monthOn top of paying a down payment plus monthly for another insurance company STATE FARM deducted another payment which left my kids w/o food for the monthDO NOT allow them to take autopay out of your account!!!!! I wonder how many other people they pulled this SCHEME on?????
on April 18th, my policy with State Farm was cancelled and I bought another Policy from All State Insurance companyState Farm was notified by my new insurance agent from All State and I supposed to receive the refund of my paid monthHowever, they continue to bill me each month up to JulyAfter multiple calls and emails they finally stopped to bill me( the auto debit was cancelled)I was promised that I will get my money back for all those months I was billed forHowever, already months since cancellation date I received nothing from themThey stole my money I was trying to reach the agent Greg Tartaglia, he told me that he submitted all required documents for refundso as I understand, the problem is with head office who is not willing to refund the money
State Farm clearly advertised that they do not have a cancellation fee upon early termination of insurance coverageAlso, it was explained to me by the agency that all coverage is prorated by days of coverage
In July of 2017, I purchased a used boat and this insurance coverage from State FarmI elected to pay the annual coverage upfront for a full yearThis dollar amount was about $670+ Upon research of this company and coverage offered, I learned that they do not provide coverage while trailering the boat to and from the water, or on landMy agent's office explained that coverage "should" be provided by my vehicle and/or my homeowner's insurance policyWhile my vehicle insurance provides liability coverage while trailering, they do not provide comprehensive (to cover the boat loan)So, I contacted my agency, explained I wanted to use another provider (which I did, Progressive insurance), and asked what date and time to the minute my policy would cancel so the new policy could
I have been with State Farm Insurance for one and a half yearWhen I first joined I was living in Belle Glade, FloridaThen I moved to Royal Palm Beach, After moving to Royal Palm Beach my car insurance coverage went up from $plus to $I questioned the increase rate and was told it is because the new city I relocated to is busierThen they increase it to $209.36, and when I questioned the new increase they told me the insurance had gone up across the board in entire Florida
I purchased a second car in March 2018, and they told me that it will cost me $per month, With my 18-year-old daughter addedIn April they charged $In May they increase it to $I called and spoke to a sales repShe could not explain why it increasedShe was very rudeI asked to speak to the manager, who gave me a story that I have been back charged for some money that I am not aware ofShe said the extra cost will be spread out over the course of months, and then my
This complaint is regarding MrDavid Pugh unwillingly and neglectfully failing to transfer my sons car insurance account to Mike Albright's office, in addition we never found out why his car insurance was increased We attempted to contact David Pugh's office on numerous occasions and he nor his assistant were accessibleWhen we finally spoke with Ms***, the administrative assistant at David Pugh's office attempted to identify why his insurance had increased and why his insurance account wasn't transferred however she was unable to provide me with any information regarding this matter and she indicated that the insurance account was transferredShe informed me that she would call me back with some answers to this matterAfter a week or so, I called Ms*** back and couldn't get in contact with herAfter trying to contact her and not being successful, I decided to transfer our car insurance to another State Farm office, which was Mike Albright's office, located at Church
On June 23rd I opened an auto insurance policy with State Farm for a Honda Accord CoupeI was informed that it would be $I then called in and added on my sister, and was informed that her portion would be $155, but they made me put down $A day later I realized that I only had to put down Just the first month for first car, but two months for second carI called agency and they told me that every thing was correctI called company's customer service and they informed me that agent that set it up had did it incorrectly, but assured me that I would receive credit on my next month's bill They them called and informed me that after getting information from DMV, my sister's portion was $moreSo I knew I would only have a $creditThey also told me that this

This Statefarm Insurance agency has the worse customer service I have ever encountered in my lifeI was recently on my mother's auto insurance, then my mother wanted me to get coverage on my ownAn agent called me to verify no longer being covered under my mother's insurance, I confirmedThe agent then went on to give me quotes for insurance coverageI thanked her for her time, and stated that I was not interested in being insured with Statefarm due to rates being too expensiveThe worker continued to press me into coverage, I stated that I did not want any coverage with StatefarmThe agent stated she would cancel the coverage that was placed out of my mother's name into my name, and to disregard any future lettersI recently received a bill in the mailI called the after-hours number and explained the situation, the man said I would need to go into a branchThe next day I called the office and asked to speak to a manager, and explained the situation yet againThe manager Bre

They were sitting right there in front of himHe moved the accident to the middle of the intersection when my car had almost completely made it out of itI'm thinking the officer changed the location on the advice of the distracted driver who was wanting to cover for himself by that time)That officer didn't listen to anything I had to say and took for granted that the two men he interviewed before me were telling the truthThey were both lying, and State Farm did nothing to try to clear any of this up or to tell me who the eyewitness was in spite of my protests, both written and verbal, about what these two offending and dangerous drivers had doneTo rub salt in my wounds, my rates went up for two yearsState Farm did a lousy job in handling this case and cost me money in the process

on April 18th, my policy with State Farm was cancelled and I bought another Policy from All State Insurance companyState Farm was notified by my new insurance agent from All State and I supposed to receive the refund of my paid monthHowever, they continue to bill me each month up to JulyAfter multiple calls and emails they finally stopped to bill me( the auto debit was cancelled)I was promised that I will get my money back for all those months I was billed forHowever, already months since cancellation date I received nothing from themThey stole my money I was trying to reach the agent Greg Tartaglia, he told me that he submitted all required documents for refundso as I understand, the problem is with head office who is not willing to refund the money
