my policy plan was due for cancellation on02/25/.I paid over the telephone on 02/25/ state farm automated line I was not informed by the system that my payment would be posting a day or laterI have used this system all the time to pay my policy plan.When I contacted my agent greg *** I explained to him that I called his office that evening (after-hours)because their closed by the time I get off from work and I always use this method to payGreg looked up my account he saw where state farm posted the payment days after I paid so greg said to me the only way that a post like that occurs is if I paid the bill on line .so I pulled up my bank account to show him the date of when I paid and I ask him can he submit the information he said no problem but that state farm wants a print out .so I provided him with that informationso greg reminded that if I did this process online that he couldn't do anything about the payment dateI felt ashamed like I just showed him the p

My family has been paying this insurance agent and State Farm for over years Auto, home etcWe were just sent a notice we were "canceled"
We have been with State Farm Insurance for over years with the same agent, Jay Bergmeier We have our home and auto and daughters insurance with him All of a sudden we were sent a a letter stating we were being canceled home insurance due to our hail claims With No call from Jay himself or explanation I now know State Farm is notorious for this I will have a news story investigate this

If I could give them a -number for this review, I wouldTHIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLETHEY MISQUOTED ME TWICE for my insurance during a state to state transferAnd when I was informed that my policy had to be re-written with the correct quote, I was told that all I needed to do was sign new forms and wait for my auto pay to come out of my accountI received no documentation or letters about the changes to my policyTHEY CANCELLED MY POLICY WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE and they told me that because the policy was cancelled, I was unable to be insured againI CONTACTED THE CORPORATE OFFICE To complain about their lack of customer service and LAURIE IN THE CORPORATE OFFICE LAUGHED AT ME and stood up for them even though they were in the wrongIt’s nice to see that Statefarm loves to cover for their offices even when they LEFT ME UNINSURED for my vehicle in a high accident areaI’ve been a loyal statefarm customer since and never had any issues until I moved to FloridaThey are HORRIBLE AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERSI WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM IN ANY FASHION WHATSOVER

On or about July 21, I purchased a Hyundai Elantra SE and contacted State Farm Auto Insurance per the sales person’s recommendationsI set up a policy while still at *** Auto and provided all information (billing address, license info, and payment)Everything went successfully that day and I was able to drive away; fast forward to August I am still awaiting policy information and paperwork;
I have even enrolled via the State Farm Insurance App and nothing at this point has populatedI called state farm (1-877) and they instructed me to reach out to the office (***); I called a spoke to a representative who told me payment was never collected and I had to pay ($for policy including discounts, etc.) I agreed and gave her my banking information that Friday August Later the next week I call back again and my policy still isn’t active, I call back and I was then told that the total amount for July (even though I purchased the card in mid-July) and Augusts’ paymen

State Farm issued me a notice of non-renewal as a result of a not at fault accident where the other insurance company claimed 100% responsibility This was appealed through my new agent on multiple occasions, an executive complaint and complaint through the Illinois Department of Insurance This claim is currently still pending and has not been submitted through the subrogation process as of yet Upon conversations with the claim agent and the other company and confirmed in a saved voicemail from State Farm that the other company took 100% responsibility, the other company will pay 100% once the final number is received (of which they have been requesting from them for months) At the time of filing the claim, I had specifically asked my then agent if there would be any negative repercussion for filing the claim on my own policy as the other insurance company did not respond to me for over days and different calls and was told that other than the deductible being withheld ther

I switched to State Farm for a better deal on insurance for my vehiclesI recently paid what I believed was remain balance of my policy termOver the weekend were stopped and notified that my vehicle was not legalWhen I intitially contacted state Farm all the person could tell me was that my insurance was cancelled they said that there was no notations or information on my acctI contacted the local office and they said yes it as but that I could reinstate itnow mind you when I asked why this happened or why I didnt receive notice they said that everyone gets notice....I said I have not received anything.....not even from the dmvThey simply didnt seem to careI asked for help in fixing this since I know have month registration suspension....and they didnt seem to care or want to help me resolve this....I just keep getting told something different

If you are having or considering STATE FARM Insurance you may want to read this:
On July 5, while riding my bike on bike path along major street I was hit by a car violently, entering the main street from a gas station exit while I was crossing the entrance cautiously
I was badly Hurt with a fracture in the pelvic area I spent days in the hospital and the rehab facility and nearly months at home recuperating from my surgery, etc
While the driver's insurance took responsibility for my hospital care, it was suggested that I use the $5K medical expenses allowed in my State Farm auto policy for miscellaneous out-of-pocket expenses as major expenses are paid by driver's insurance and handled through legal channel
Accordingly on August account number14-9B00-was established at State Farm to receive the out-of-pocket claims
Aug- 1st claim including items receipts for the total of $was sent to State Farm local office
Dec- 2nd claim including items receipts for $was sent to State Farm local officeThis claim included traveling out of state the for 2nd opinion on my injuries
Dec- The State Farm Claim adjustor sent summary of the above claims, acknowledging $plus missing receipt for $which was recent, while rejected $for the cost of traveling out of state for 2nd opinion as well as minimal amount for dues to the local YMCA I could not used because of my injuries, from the total of $submitted
Dec- Despite dozens of emails and phone calls for payment, the claim department advised that they did not have police report of the accident, of which I send a copy via email attachment
Dec- I contacted S.Flocal office advising that in addition to the ongoing Physical Therapy I will be needing Massage Therapy and since the payment for this service is on cash basis I will need confirmation of coverage under out-of-pocket availability of $5K! Reply from Claim Dept needs Doctor's order
Dec- I sent doctor's order recommending Massage Therapy 2-times/week for weeks to alleviate Muscle Spasm and pain I also submitted costs and options from a well-known licensed massage therapist, for their consideration
On Jan- After many follow-ups, I was once again stunned that Claim Dept did not have the medical report For this I went to FWO (Fort Wayne Orthopedic) to expedite the report In my presence they called State Farm and reminded them what they need to do to get the report
Who would believe that the Insurance Coestablishing an account, receiving receipt documents, etcdid not request either police or medical reports at the time of opening the account or shortly thereafter!!! It was rather unbelievable that they did not know how to get medical reports from a well-known Hospital??
And here is one of the many obstacles presented "He will need to submit chart notes from the licensed massage therapist documenting what body part they massaged and why" Apparently the Claim adjustor questioning Doctor's prescriptions and recommendations!
So on, 02/08/17,on the 50th day anniversary since I sent doctor's order for Massage Therapy, State Farm never approved or denied the therapy while I lived with pain and discomfort, so I decided to cancel all my policies and end decades of business with State FarmThey played meThey fooled me And tried and tried to find obstacles to kill time!
I understand how businesses try to reduce payouts where possible, but I couldn't imagine how far State Farm will go to sacrifice customer health for so little It is so shameful that a Claim person can keep a longtime loyal who need medical help in limbo for days! The whole ordeal was tragic and shameful!

I contacted Gregory *** on 7/7/to cancel an account that contracted the day before He noted the account and told me I would need to wait on the refund A month later, I called Greg again and we said he had to wait on corporate for the refund Here we are over months past cancelation and still no refund I have been calling the office of Agent Gregory *** and everyday, he is not in the office , which I do not believe Today, I was given the number for corporate office where the customer service agent confirmed that the account was cancelled 7/6/however that he did not see a refund amount and that he'd have to call and leave a message for Greg in order to start the refund process Are you serious? I have been with State Farm for over years Two years ago I was involved in an accident where the other driver was found at fault as he backed out of his driveway onto the road in front of me Then he filed a lawsuit against me in which he made up a part of the accident that didn't happen, and claimed he was injured in it After the accident he was posting pictures on Facebook of himself lifting weights and vacationing when he was supposed to be injured I just got an update and instead of State Farm doing the right thing and fighting it they are trying to settle with him I am leaving State Farm as soon as I can get new insurance, and I am asking those who want to stand up to insurance fraud to do the same This is why people continue to milk the system, because insurance companies keep letting it happen instead of trying to shut these people down

This review is about Nicole P*** and her office with State Farm on ***, in Chicago First off, when I initially signed up for coverage when I bought my home last year, I was offered additional short term disability coverage which I accepted When the first payment was drafted from my account, it was 3x the amount I was originally quoted When I questioned my agent, Vanessa, about this she told me it's because I work in a high risk field (I don't) and that it was because of the additional car insurance I took out (I didn't) So I told them to cancel those coverages Then I was called into their office in May/June to review my coverage, and it was literally to try to sell me additional policies that I didn't need They then called me back in June/July to do the same thing I explained that I wasn't interested and had already been in to see them THEN my home owners policy was cancelled in late July for non-payment because THIS OFFICE had the wrong mortgage company on file for my account I have my insurance escrowed, so my mortgage company wasn't able to pay them I got a random email in late August telling me that I owed them $500+ and that I had been uninsured for a month at this point They insisted that they had called & emailed me multiple times to let me know, which is a big pile of lies I listen to every voicemail I receive and check my email multiple times a day After they said this, I went back and checked my emails, spam, junk, voicemail, etc and there was NOTHING from them They told me the issue was flagged in May, so the two times they called me previously to try to get me to spend more money with them, they never once mentioned any issue with my homeowners accountOnce I realized they had the wrong mortgage company on file, I told them who actually had my mortgage and they made me do 99% of the leg work to get this straightened out I was told by my mortgage company that they overnighted a check to the office and that I should be all set I called Nicole's office the following Monday, since the check was overnighted at the end of the previous week, and was told they didn't receive it Well, after more leg work on my end, I found out their after hours answering service gave my mortgage company the wrong address, so the check was sent to a State Farm corporate office in Texas I then started receiving notices from my mortgage company about the lack of coverage, and they were going to impose additional insurance which I would have to pay out of pocket I called, emailed, left messages at Nicole's office with no response Two weeks later and I got a call that was finally posted to my account The woman, Katrina who I was dealing with, who is not my agent, Vanessa, or Nicole the main agent, made it seem like she was doing me a favor to go back and reinstate my account and retroactively cover my property for the time it was uninsured I asked for proof of insurance so I could send it to the mortgage company, but was then told the process wasn't complete because they didn't have my mortgage company's address The address I provided from the get go, when they asked me for it So I went over a month without homeowners insurance, without my knowledge I'm very thankful nothing serious happened during that timeI tried to call State Farm corporate to get it straightened out, but was told that everything was done by individual agents, and my only option was to switch agents, then I was transferred to this agent's office and got the same crazy runaround I was baffled Literally speechless I will NEVER do business with State Farm again I could go on and on about what a huge pain this process was, but I think my point is clear I cancelled my policy with them and bundled it with the company that provides my car insurance And I will say, that I never thought I'd find a company with worse customer service than C***, but Nicole P*** & State Farm proved me wrongI posted the same review to Yelp and will be sure to tell everyone I know never to do business with her or State Farm It's really disappointing that a company that's been around for so long allows their agents to treat their customers like garbage, over charge them and not own up to mistakes that they made
