Same as everyone else here Their website does NOT make it clear that you are signing up for an auto-ship I just got charged $for something I did not order I just put in a cancellation request but I am not hopeful that it will be successful based on everyone else experiences it is obvious that they set up their system to scam people out of money by not making it clear that you are signing up for an auto ship Very unfortunate since their products are actually nice and it appears they donate to charity I have already contacted my credit card company about this

their whole business model is to sell cheap bracelets and get you "subscribed", after which they charge your credit card with $every month, and that monthly $is their actual business
they have a checkbox at the bottom of checkout page with tiny paragraph saying that you will be subscribed to a "charity program", and that checkbox is obligatory to end the purchase
getting off the "charity program" is hard, as they charge credit card even after unsubscribing and cancelling the accountalso there is absolute no any kind of proof that they actually support any charity or help anyone
also they have fake accounts and/or bots that leaves them good reviews, always saying the same similar sentence
my buena vida is a scam and people should know what they are doing

I was mislead and enrolled in a subscriptionEven after the subscription was successfully cancelled, months later, I was billed with no refund
Initially the wording of how to purchase a bracelet from them is misleading I was enrolled in a subscription Once I realized it, I called at least times and sent multiple emails before someone got back to me Finally was able to cancel the subscription after they had $of my money Several months after the subscription was cancelled I got another $charge I've been trying to get that money back for over a month The phone number on their website is no longer in service and I've been emailing All they keep saying is that it's an error and they're working on it

One of my bracelets took a while to arrive, but the customer support was really helpful and they even send me an extra bracelet for the delayI'm also enrolled on their monthly program, hope to receive more of this good looking bracelets

This company took a $unauthroized charge from my bank account out after one year of not purchasing anything
I have spoke with *** who claimed to be the manager and he has been extremely rude to me after I told him his company took out money from my account illegally

Money being debited repeatedly from my daughters account
My daughter ordered bracelets from this company She was unaware of a monthly fee that is charged After her checking account was debited more than $in one month, I sent and email and told them to stop the withdrawals They told me to cancel her membership, so I did Since then they have debited $more since March 5, in debits of $each In total they have debited her account for over $for two bracelets that were less than $each The company claims that they do not store credit card numbers, but yet they still continue to debit her account I sent an email to resolve with the company and was told that they are unsure why these debits were created and would send me a refund However, if no debit or credit card information is stored, how will they refund the account I have also read numerous complaints for the same issues under the reviews for this company

Without my knowledge I was signed up for a monthly subscriptionNow buena vida is refusing to refund me for the two months I was wrongly charged
July 15th I made an order for a $bracelet at buena vida, I received two emails from them, one about my purchase and another July 16th to tell me my bracelet had been shippedi received it and was very happy with the braceletThe next month, August, I received another bracelet in the mailI thought this was very weird and checked my email and saw that I had no other emails from them so thought perhaps it was a mess up and forgot about itThen September 24th I receive an email saying my purchase is being shipped, I had not ordered anything so I call them, they listen and tell me they will email me which they doAfter numerous emails they tell me that I signed up for a monthly membership, I explain that I never agreed to any membership nor was I asked to agree to one and I want to be refundedThey say okay the refund will be issued,

My stepdaughter saved up her money and asked me to buy these bracelets for herShe sent a link to the ones she wanted, and I ordered themThey came in the mailThat should be the end of this story - BUT - this company signed me up for an ongoing subscription without my knowledge or consentWhile going through my budget I realized they were charging me $a month
I contacted the company and asked for a refund, as I never intended to sign up to a subscription and NOTHING that I saw in the transaction indicated that this would be the situation

I am all in favor of donating to victims of hurricanes, and have already donated to charitiesMy issue with "Buena Vida" is that they did not clarify what I believed was a one time purchase, and continued to charge my card without my knowledge or consent

My daughter ordered bracelets in 11/Somehow getting charged every monthlyCalled few times, no answerLeft voice mail, no answerTried unsubscribing and never happenFinally just now called discover card and cancelled the whole thing
Never order from this site, scam

They charged me for a donation that I didn't make and continue to tell me they will fix it but havent

This is so badThey trick you into an expensive subscription without your knowledge and pretend that it is for charityTo be frank, which charity would take this money, with the knowledge that it was stolen from people without their awarenessThere are for sure not doing charityAnd also how bad do you have to be to steal money in the name of charityWhat they are actually doing is making people insecure to donate to people who are really in needIn reality they are harming charity, what is really one of the worst that you can do in life

Asked for refund because of a charge I did not authorize
I've emailed countless times because I was charged $on my credit card which I did not authorizeI cancelled my subscription in October and was then charged In March Because of this charge it put my credit card over the limit which I am now charged an extra $and has put a dent in my credit scoreI want a refund for the damages caused to me
