Received a $Pending charge when I cancelled the subscription
I cancelled and received a notification regarding the stopped subscription on JUN For whatever reason, I got a $Pending Charge 5Mar I submitted a ticket to them # XXXXX and have not received any details yet I've had problems with them not responding in a timely matter for not cancelling my subscription on timeBut they kept my credit card still on file and active for their disposal

Billing my debit card after I cancelled the subscription
I ordered bracelets on Oct and Nov They billed me in Nov and I called and spoke to a rep and advised that I wanted to cancel my subscriptionI received an email on Nov that my subscription has been cancelledOn March my card was billed twice $which is a total of $ I tried to call the number on March but the number is disconnected! I am very upset because I have an email stating that my service would be cancelled yet my card has be charged I am a single mother of three children and I do not have money for someone to just take from meHow is what this company do is legal This is this address that was listed on the shipping order *** ** XXXXX

This company is truly a scam My teenage son ordered a bracelet and unknowingly signed up for the subscription We were receiving the bracelets for a while and in November I called and cancelled the subscription The person on the phone assured my that the subscription was cancelled The next month and every month since I continue to receive a bracelet for which I mail back the bracelet at my own expense and call my credit card company to ask them to intervene They put a block on my account for My Buena Vida not to charge my account I again tried to reach out to My Buena Vida and the telephone number has been disconnected I then went to the website and again tried to cancel my subscription more than onceThen a credit card charge went through using something other than My Buena Vida so it would not be blocked I again alerted my credit card company and they put another block Yesterday another bracelet came in the mail so I will once again have to pay to return the bracelet because I continue not to receive any response from My Buena Vida

This company is a fraudAfter making a purchase online, they continue to charge the credit card without authorization a year after unsubscribing from their services

I purchased one BuenaVida bracelet for my daughterBuenaVida, without my knowledge, set me up for a subscription to send me a bracelet every month at $I can only assume that their website defaults to elect the subscription because I would've never elected to pay $120/year for a bunch of bracelets and I didn't do that intentionally - nor do I remember seeing any flag indicator This is just outrageously deceptiveI tried to call their number but wasn't able to easily reach someoneThe website didn't make it apparent how to cancel either However, today I found a place that allowed me to unsubscribe - maybe they added this recently? I've been dealing with this for many many months - hopefully, I will no longer see this

I would like to echo the long list of other complaints I've seen here about My Buena Vida as my daughter was seduced by their advertising and pleasing website language Of some interest in our case was that last July the company still maintained a customer service phone lineI received and documented a clear subscription cancellation response by return email that we assumed officially closed my daughters account and ended monthly billing harassment Of course, after months they start a fraudulent billing process again, totally unauthorized I encourage any and everyone with any similar experience to call your bank's dispute/fraud number and formally dispute the charges!

10/22/I was charged $from My Buena VidaI purchased a gift from My Buena Vida back in November or December of Almost a year later I was charged $for no apparent reasonI emailed the business probably times and called many times however the phone number has a recording saying to email supportI requested to have this charge reversedThe only response I got said 'My Buena Vida honors it's customers and membersAnything owed to a customer is handled in a timely manner as part of our company's service excellence initiative If you feel your issue has not been resolved, I will advise my manager to investigate and follow up.'
That is the first and only response I received from this companyI cannot get ahold of an actual person or even get a response via email

I am helping my teen daughter get out of this subscription She only wanted a map for the shipping cost and paid for that, then immediately cancelled the subscription She received a confirmation email that it was cancelled, but then her account was charged $twice in one month, then $at the beginning of the next month Finally we had the bank block all charges and disputed those already made because nobody would answer the phone and although we had the cancellation email, charges continue Now another month has gone by and we just received another shipment - this time it looks like no charge because it's blocked at our bank level, but the box is their iconic peace sign necklace Advice to anyone: very difficult to stop this company from charging your card or sending you items, so don't start anything with them in the first place

years ago I bought my nephew a bracelet from this companyNot knowing I signed up for a monthly subscription and it took months for them to stop changing my card after several e-mails and phone calls to cancelFinally, it stopped after months of back and forthNow a year later the charges started appearing AGAIN on my cardThe phone number is disconnectedI have sent an e-mail, but they have no right to start charging my card again without permission over a year laterI am in the process of getting a new card, so this wont happen againPlease don't buy from this company

I purchased one bracelet in June of and unwillingly entered into their monthly subscription which I cancelled promptly once it was realized They did cancel and no additional charges where created until this week I received the $charge on my credit card and have contacted them times to refund this money, cancel my subscription and remove all of my information and they have yet to respond I absolutely think this company should be held accountable for their fraudulent charges and practices I will be contacting my bank to see if they can block them from further charges

Cancelled subscription in January and still being charged
I was double billed in November '(11/22/= $& 11/27/= $19.99) and tried desperately to get a hold of customer service both by phone and email When there was no response, I UNSUBSCRIBED on 1/3/ I received confirmation stating that requests must be received before the 15th of the month however, I was still charged my monthly subscription on 1/11/ Thankfully it was refunded without impromptu
On 2/12/I received an email stating my order had shipped I replied requesting that my subscription be cancelled, AGAIN, and that all of my credit card information be removed
Luckily I received a response from a "Paula *** (request #XXXXX) who stated that there was no charge and this would be my last shipment
On 3/5/I received yet ANOTHER charge for $ Again, I have emailed and left voice mail messages with no response I do not understand why this is so hard and I will NEVE

I've been emailing with them for months trying to get a refundThey told me months ago they would send a paper check and still nothing

I have in vain tried to un-subscribe to the bracelet scam that my year old daughter unknowingly signed up for when she purchased bracelets to her and a girlfriend a few month ago

The company charged my card a month after I cancelled my subscriptionI've been trying to get a refund for almost months now

Horrible customer service relating to charges AFTER cancellationIt also took a week and a half to contact following an inquiry and two random charges when I inquired about canceling the subscriptionIt actually got to the point where I called my bank to block and dispute chargesNot impressed and it is a very tacky way of doing business
