I booked a trip with my family to go to Las Vegas. My departure date was fine. My return home ticket was messed up. I was to return home on August 5, 2017 to Ny. My e-ticket said August 5th. I called the airline to pre-check in and they had me down to return on August 4th. I called My flight search.com and they seemed nice and said they were going to fix it but over the course of the week I learned they were lying. They were rude, tried to make me pay to change the flight which was their fault. All they had to do was call American Airlines and change the date but they refused. I must have spoken to at least 10 different people. They told me they were working on it and would call me back. Never called me back. I ended up having to leave on the 4th or I would not have a flight home. They ruined my vacation and my family's vacation. We missed my mother in-law's 75th birthday party because we had to leave. I can not believe the rudeness I experienced from this company.

This business does not identify itself and poses as if they are speaking on behalf of another company.
I had ***" and MyFlightSearch.com's number was associated with this. I called the representative and during the whole time had never identified that I was not speaking to "***" when I was purchasing the ticket over the phone he sent me an email and said I would receive 2 charges. One from *** and the other was just taxes. After I had hung up the phone I had noticed that the representative spelled my traveler's name incorrectly. I had called back 6 times and left a voicemail each time and have yet to receive a response back from them. The next day when my traveler wanted to travel, TSA would not allow him to travel because his last name had one letter misplaced. This caused him to have to purchase another ticket in the airport to board his flight. I have since found the correct contact info for *** and they were extremely helpful and they were actually the first ones to tell me that 'myflightsearch.com' is not a contracted company they work with. They had also mentioned that a lot of their customers complain about this specific company posing as them. I have called numerous times afterwards to see if they could resolve my problem by issuing a refund and it rings three times and then goes to a voicemail that no one ever returns. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company's ability and want to resolve a customer's problem. The fact that they do not identify themselves and just answer the phone 'Reservations this is XYZ' is very deceiving and unfair.

Desired Outcome

The ideal resolution that I am seeking is not only for my refund but I would realistically like to see them not deceive people into thinking that this airline has contracted them out by just answering the phone 'Reservations'. They should have to identify that they are with myflightsearch.com and not affiliated with any airline in which they conduct business.

You seemed to be satisfied with itinerary and price, hence, went ahead to book and confirm the reservation. The flight was booked for 1 passengers and email confirmation was sent to you at ***. The booking number was ***. On your travel date we got a call from your end stating name mentioned on ticket is incorrect and you have purchased new ticket from airline directly and need refund for this reservation.

***, we understand that you are not happy with the delay in refund however it takes time to claim refund from airlines directly; hence for customer satisfaction we have already processed refund of $76.00 and confirmed from airlines for processing $79.00. We apologize for the delay in getting the same resolved. Though we try our best to get the refund processed at the earliest, but it may take up to 1-2 billings cycles for the refund to reflect in your statement, due to bank procedures.

We hope that you will not let this solitary instance to deter you from booking with us again.

Alex -my booking is XXXXXXXX I am not good on the computer, and when I saw the phone number I called and am I glad I did. Alex was very helpful, polite, through. and he knew your system finding flights that were to my liking. He was not pushy, trying to make a sale. By talking with him my stress level for this trip was reduced to 0% in gettting our flights. Thanks Alex, hope I get you next trip, I put your web site in my favorites.
