No Refund despite months of waiting
13-Oct. 2022: charged by MyFlightSearch.com (Booking No. FSON474244) for two (2) return flight tickets to/fr. YYT-YYC for Dec. 2022. E-tickets never received from MFS.com, so cancelled booking on 17-Oct. 2022. Full, no-penalty Refund of $2031.70USD ($2880.39CDN) was agreed to by MFS.com Customer Service, and confirmed via e-mail. Have contacted MyFlightSearch.com numerous times (via phone call & email) over the past several months but promised Refund has still not been credited back to my personal credit card (original form of payment) as of 12-Jan. 2023
Have registered a formal complaint with the BBB of southern Nevada and they rec'd a message from MFS.com offering to refund me with a cheque via standard mail in 4 to 6 weeks. Likely another stall tactic, so I rejected this offer and demanded that they either back-charge the refund to my credit card or e-transfer funds so I can direct deposit ASAP. No response yet. Am desperate to get my money back all these months later as I still paying interest on the original charge.

We bought an airline ticket trough My flight Search. After my wife had paid by Visa over the phone, an additional payment (50% of the first authorized amount) was deducted from her account without any authorization. When we phoned back to complain, they refused to pay it back. Look at other reviews online and you will see that these folks are a very dishonest bunch. Stay away from them.

1900 dollar refund for not paying *** for airline tickets after we paid
we booked a flight through my flight search for the 15th of may. they failed to pay *** airlines to fly my in-laws to *** for my wedding. They did not refund us the money for the booking. we called them after my in-laws where at the airport and couldn't get on their flight. they preceded to transfer my father in-law and new wife around and hanging up on them. I called and they tried to tell us all flight where canceled due to Covid-19. after we informed them we had already purchased new tickets and recorded the conversation online they would send a check for 100% of the new travel expenses that would be more then we paid them plus cost of a ticket we could no longer afford to buy along with the original amount paid to them. the check was promised to be in our hand as of may 24th. its now the 27th. we still haven't received a check. they have now blocked my number, and told my father in law that they would only refund us the amount we paid to them. the booking number they gave us is ***.

i am seeking the refund of atleast the original cost to them along with additional cost occured due to the trip totaling in 13500 if not the full amount i was told of 1900

I requested a flight on sunday 3/8 the agent made it for wed 11 which I could not do
I told agent I needed flight on 3/8 he gave me 3/11 when I called back phone line was busy for days I sent many emails from 3/8 until after 3/11 they said someone will get back within 24 48 hours after long after someone finally responded to my email and called they said I would get back 252.78 but not the rest 66.80 9.95 33.40 I was dropping my son and next plane back. If I did make it the re how could I come back

It does not take weeks and weeks for a refund and I should not have lost 110.15 because all your lines where busy and no one answered the e mails until way after the date in question I could have at least scheduled for a different date instead of loosing my money. Yes send me the refund from weeks ago which I was promised and yes I want my 110.15

I used myflightsearch to book a flight, but was never mailed a ticket. I called, and was given no clear answer to my problem. I then looked into the website, and saw a ton of reviews saying that myflightsearch is a scam. I wished I had looked into it before I paid for a ticket I never got.

My husband booked what he thought was an airticket for a flight to the *** via *** from *** on my behalf in January of this year. Instead My flight search sent a booking confirmation. When I looked at the fine print, it stated that a ticket would follow. But none did. When I called ***, they said I had a cancelled itinerary but no flight booking. This was when I re-booked my ticket directly with *** and began to call My Flight Search asking for a refund of the $605.52 (January 14th). I was promised this in an email. But no refund was made.I called numerous times to no-avail, despite leaving messages. On one occasion when I spoke with an operator I was told the money would be refunded in 1- 2 weeks. Of course, this has not happened. I reached out again via email to receive another promise in 14 -21 business days. This time has long passed.

I finally received a check from the company. When it clears, I will notify you that I am satisfied. But in reality, no company has ever taken so long

In December 2019 I booked a flight to *** with the subject agent; the travel dates were Oct 04, 2020 (departure) and October 21 (2020) return. The trip was to attend a function that unfortunately was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently I called MyFlightSearch on May 04, 2020 to obtain information on flight cancellation. On May 05, 2020 I called to cancel the flight and received two confirmations that gave conflicting information about the time-frame within which the credit should be used: one said by May 27, 2020 and the other, May 05, 2021. I sent an email to get clarification however I did not receive a response. I have since been trying to get a refund however this has been to no avail. Up to May 07, 2020 I called several times trying to get someone to address my concern. In addition to being hung up on multiple times, on May 07 I called again and spent almost one hour trying to get someone to speak with about rebooking. After finally speaking with an agent I was led to believe the flight was rebooked and I was even told that I would have to pay extra fees associated with making the change. I was also informed that an email confirmation would have been provided. Up to 2:00 pm on May 08, the email had not materialised. Consequently I called again, and after suffering the indignity of being hung up on again, someone, Zack, paid me the courtesy of taking my call, and not hanging up. I explained what took place the day before and he not only made it seem as if I was fabricating the story, but told me there was nothing on file to prove that I had called. After a lengthy discussion I was told that in addition to charges I would have to pay a change fee of $200, which I questioned given the reason for cancelling the flight in the first place; he defended MyFlightSearch's policy in this regard saying that it's a loss to the company when refunds have to be given, which in my mind was in very poor taste. I decided that I no longer wanted to do business with the company, or *** Airlines for that matter, and enquired how I could get a refund and was told that this was 'impossible'. On enquiring if the airline could be contacted I was told by the agent that he would have to send an email and that it would not make sense anyway as the airline would not answer. I however insisted that this be done and that a confirmation of same be sent to me. I took the opportunity to get clarification on the deadline for utilizing the credit and was told that it should be one year from the date of original booking'at least in this instance there was no resistance to provide confirmation, which showed the deadline for new booking as Dec 20, 2020. The called ended with the agent indicating that he would call back to let me know that the email was sent, which he did however he refused to provide any confirmation that any such communication. Although I requested multiple times, he also refused to transfer me to a manager or someone at a higher level. I took it upon myself to check *** Airline's refund policy and present for your information, the following extract 'For refunds on tickets purchased via our Call Centre/Ticket Offices or a Travel Agent (including Online Travel Agents), requests should be made by contacting the point of purchase. They will prepare your request and then submit it to the Refunds Department.? None of this was told to me by the agent for MyFlightSearch and I am inclined to suspect less than honourable intent. On May 08, 2020 I sent a detailed email to their customer service, outlining my experience; I have not received a response. The foregoing formed a major portion of an email I sent to *** on May 08. and having not received a response, I forwarded the complaint to *** on May 12 however no one has answered to date. As I was getting no answer to my phone calls, prior to forwarding the email to the travel agency's customer service, I logged a complaint directly with *** Airlines itself on May 11 (claim number ***). They responded on May 13, apologising for the inconvenience however there was not much clarity around how I could get a refund and so I requested, on even date, clarification on this. Having not received any further response, I sent a follow-up email today, May 16. I continue to wait in the hope that someone will do the right thing. Regards,***

This company is scamming people, leads individuals to believe that they are getting excellent deals on flights the customer books with the travel agency and then the agency books your flight and then cancels your flight so that they keep the money. I was recently traveling to another state and booked through the ? travel agency? who supposedly is working with *** Airlines, the ticket went through to *** Airlines and then a week before was cancelled by the vendor and then when I called the vendor they stated the flight wasn't available but I confirmed with *** Airlines that it was still available. They ended up cancelling the flight so the airline refunded them the money and then kept it. I called MyFlight Search and spoke to two representatives that both said they were going to rebook me but then I wouldn't actually be rebooked. I was hung up on twice I requested to speak to a supervisor apparently there were no supervisors available and I could not get a refund ( services were incomplete ) they stole my money.

I threw my back out. My doctor submitted a note explaining I could not fly. *** credited Myflight back, they still have not paid me back.
I was suppose to fly out on 1/24/20. I threw my back out. I was in excruciating pain. I could not stand, walk or even sit without pain. We decided it would be in my best interest to postpone my trip for a later time. The doctor gave me a shot, steroid pack and muscle relaxers. She gave me a note explaining everything in detail. I sent the doctors note to *** and they approved the refund within a week. I have left several messages and sent many emails asking for my money to be refunded. MyFlightSearch.com sent me an email asking for me to provide information plus the doctors note. I have done everything that was required and still have not received my refund of $335.93. I spoke to a guy (who was rude) and explained my situation. He was very confrontational and accused me of lying about leaving numerous messages. Not sure why someone would make that up. He put me on hold for 15 mins and finally came back and said he found all my emails and that I would be receiving a check in 30 days. I explained to him that I have already waited long enough and that this was unacceptable. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He put me on hold for 25 mins and then hung up. I called back and no one answered and it went to voicemail. I left a message and no one called me back. This was over a month ago. It has no been more than 3 months since the company was refunded their money. I have provided all the documents and information that is required in order for me to receive my refund and they still have not sent my check.

I spoke with Amy today 5/13/20 and she said they sent my check last month. I explained to her that I have not received anything and that she can look the check # up and see that it has not been cashed. I asked them to cancel that check and resend a new one. She said she would get back to me in a few day...but I've already heard this before. My fear is, I will be calling in the next week or month and they will say the exact thing. She confirmed my address and info and everything matched up to what they have on file so not sure why I never got the check. Can someone please help!

Last minute flight made that was canceled three hours later
On April 7th 2020 I booked a last-minute flight for my husband to come to *** from *** for the passing of my father. Booking number ***. Cost of $607.21. Several hours after making this flight reservation we were told that the flight was canceled due to an increase in price. We were not given an option to reschedule another flight or pay the increase. Only that we would be refunded the money. We called a couple of weeks later to see where the refund was, we were told the refund would happen in 24 hours. Got an email confirmation for this as well. Over a month later, still no refund or anyone to answer our call. This is not only ridiculous, but we barely had enough money to cover ANOTHER flight out. This was not ok and still isn't.

on December 20 2019, my credit card was charged $4356.00 to Flight Search Inc. I don't remember doing any form of business with Flight Search Inc
On 12/20/19 I was stranded in *** with my son on a trip to ***, due to flight delay. I called both *** that was delayed and *** that I bought I ticket from for help. Some gentleman was helping me and told me that *** won't give me another flight and I should buy another ticket that cost $4356 for me and my son. I did not have a choice but to buy it. After my trip I report *** about that and they said they just exchange my flights but never charge me for any additional cost. I was dealing with *** and not Flight Search. Even though I was charge for that amount with Flight Search Inc, I never received any confirmation from them or anything like that. I try emailing and calling Flight Search Inc but was not successful at all.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of my money back because I have not done business with Flight Search Inc and I never received any type of confirmation or Itinerary email to me from Flight Search. I don't know if this is an insider deal, that the rep tells customer they airline won't help you and you have to buy a new ticket and turn around and do something else. The flight apparently was supposed to be for me and my son from *** but the only email I got was from *** with a continue itinerary (switching us from *** to ***).

Flight Search Inc has credit back my credit card which was charged and that was the solution I wanted to resolve the issue.

I purchased an airline ticket through this company for a flight leaving on march 7. The flight was cancelled the day before by the airline and I was guaranteed a refund. I was told the refund would take 3 business days. I called back a week later after receiving no refund. I was told 3 more business days. I gave it another week or so and I called back and was told 30 days. I asked the agent to speak with management but was told they were unavailable. I then asked why was the agent the same person I spoke with everytime I callef. The agent told me it was because of the times I was calling. The agent hung up on me. Every time I call I wait on hold for at least an hour or more. I've sent emails with no response. I recently called back waited on hold and when the agent answered and immediately hung up the phone. It has been 2 months since my flight was cancelled amd I have not received a refund.

I booked flight in Early Feb 2020 for my family and I paid US$417 for the flight from *** to ***. I had to cancel the flight due to some urgent issues. I call them and cancelled the flight. I was told that they are having issue with the system and they will send me refund cheque. I double confirmed as I never heard of CC refund via mail. I was told that it will take 30 business days to get you refund. days passed but I never get anything in the mail. I call them and spoke with agent. He told me that they will refund directly into CC. I been waiting for days and nothing came up in my CC. I called them again and they said that we have requested refund from refund department and I should get an e mail and refund. After few days, I call them again and now they telling me that I will get refund on 25th May. Every time I call them and get a new story. Its been 3 months and they have no intention to refund my US$417. I read hundreds of similar stories on the web as they are doing fraud and it is a scam. Please help to recover my hard earning money.

Terrible customer service, website and refund issue
I went thru this website to purchase a cheap flight 100$ cheaper than any other website. I did not realize then maybe why it was so much cheaper. These people that run customer service are probably being paid pennies to do their job from a foreign country poorly I might add. So poorly that it is almost a scam should any detail of your flight be needing correction or a refund. The website I believe changed my origin for departure to a state I had no intention of leaving or going to at all. But even if it had been operator error and not their terrible software system it gets worse. So I call almost everyday for a week and ask If I can simply change the flight to a different one using the confirmation code sent to my e mail. Every time I call it is someone who I am sure is of a middle eastern descent after being on hold just to speak with this person usually for 15 minutes or more I am then greeted by them with such a thick accent I can barely understand them. Then I invariably give my confirmation number and they proceed to put me on hold further. The first time I was at this step in the process on hold for an hour only to be told they did not have the proper employee available to help with my issue today and they would call me back within two hours or the following morning. They call the following day around 11 a.m. and they put me on hold again after receiving my conf. #. Then they eventually hang up on me and I am forced to go about my day having wasted more time and no closer to a solution. This goes of for several more days of holding forever to no avail and aforementioned callbacks that stop even happening. Now all I want is a refund I am so frustrated by all of it. I finally today, day after mother's day, get someone who after the initial hold does not put me on hold again when I ask to cancel the flight. They say that they have sent an e mail to me with my "voucher" so I ask them to hold the line as I review the email they do complaining the whole time saying the answers to my questions will be in the email. They are not. The email only contains the original confirmation # for the flight which is cancelled and there is no proof a voucher whatsoever. I ask for clarification and he tells me I am not reading it thoroughly enough. I then tell him I am and if he does not address this issue presently with me I will be filing a report to the Revdex.com to which he then responds this call is being recorded. That was his last statement to me before end of phone call. I hope it is true so that there is evidence of the phone call. I will attach the email below because it says nothing about a voucher or any new way to use my money that they have officially taken out of my account a week ago. Not only is it their "policy" to not offer refunds but their "voucher" for a future flight is non existent. The whole process leaves you almost doomed to be suckered out of money from the start. I cannot believe they have been allowed to continue doing business this way. And for a company that claims to be american out of *** I spoke over the phone with several different "representatives" over the course of a week at different times on different days and they all had terrible attitudes and almost incoherent foreign accents. The workers themselves may be exploited if they are not the ones just exploiting hard working Americans. I hope you address this issue before others have to suffer through the waste of time that is interacting with this "business"
I am lucky it was only 100$ for me but for others it may be much more as plane tickets are not cheap usually and some of their flights are much pricier. Thank you for your attention to this matter I look forward to hearing from you.

Will not refund or give Voucher. Being that we can fly to destination being you have to qarantine when you get there. I paid for the insurance.

March 24,2020 I Purchased a ticket to hawaii. I got the ins so I can change if needed to. They wont change flight unless I pay 200$. And wont give vouchers either. Dont wanna answer phone or keep hanging up on you after being on hold for an hour and a half.

My flight was canceled without notification. No response or refund given.
May 2nd I booked two tickets for flights for May 7th through my flight search. The payment was deducted from my bank account on May 4th. May 6th, 24 hours before my scheduled flight, I attempted to check in with the airline. My name with the reference number I was given said canceled. I checked with the airline and the flight was still scheduled and had no record of my name. My flight search never notified me of canceling my flight. I attempted to call multiple times and sent emails with no response. My booking number ref is ***.

Refund promised by letter for flight booked then cancelled for covid19. Letter said refund would take up to two billing cycles to process.
It has been three billing cycles and still no refund. After two unanswered phone calls and extended delay with no response from myflightsearch I am filing this complaint.

On April 23rd, I booked a flight thru this 3rd party co. w/ *** Airlines, paid for it - they took the funds from my acct, sent me a notice saying it was booked & that I'd be getting an e-ticket within 24hrs.

I never got the e-ticket and called to check on it, 3-4 times over the past few days..

Each time was told by different employees that it would be emailed, each time giving my email address. Still never got it.

Now today -- 4 days before my departure date - an employee tells me that my flight was canceled!! No phone call, no email, no message and no explanation.

Per *** Airlines, MyflightSearch canceled my flight 2 days after they booked it.

Now today I've had to scramble around and find a different flight at the last minute at a much higher price! What way to do business!!

After reading some of the other complaints and the F rating by the Revdex.com, Im wondering how this co. can still be in business!

Thank you for this info. I'll await the refund from this co.
However, I only received 1 message from this company and
it was just days before my flight was scheduled to leave.

Also, I called the airline in question, *** Airlines, and it
was not the airlines who canceled my formerly booked flight - they had not
adjusted their schedule at all in this case - but MySearch Fllight cancelled
my booking just a couple days after I booked it with them, weeks before my scheduled
departure date. Why didn't they contact me right away so I could have made
other arrangements? How convenient to blame the airline.

This company's business practices are awful and I will never use them again.
