The request to cancel was made within three days and the member was refunded in fullThis should post to her account in two to five business days, depending on the policies of her card issuer

They're saying I was issued a FULL refund???? I can show bank statements showing they deducted from my account. When I called to cancel my membership and get a refund, they strong-armed me into staying, and issued a PARTIAL refund of $99.00. Maybe they should have stated I was issued a PARTIAL refund, not a FULL REFUND because that is a lie!

I want to advise other professional women that this organization is a pure scam They are begging for members - they use your credit card for unauthorized renewal of your membership It is without a doubt the most unprofessional organization you will ever deal with! Their staff are sweet when they want your credit card information then they are just the opposite when you try to get your money back Don't settle for them taking any of your money - if they have billed you tell them you want a 100% refund It took months for mine to arrive but I got it back! Don't let them intimidate you!

MEMBER FULLY REFUNDED - PARTLY THROUGH HER CREDIT CARD AND THE BALANCE BY CHECK

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.I have already received two partial refunds ($ and $ payments), I am still waiting for the pending amount ($ 261.50) to be credited in my banking accountThe business sent an email stating that they will do the full reimbursement so now I am waiting to receive that pending amount

This consumer asked to be removed from contacts, and she has been deactivated from NAPW's CRM She will not receive any targeted communications from NAPW,
though she may still occasionally encounter passive, non-targeted advertising on the Internet

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and even though this resolution is far from satisfactory to me since it contains multiple lies entered for the benefit of the Revdex.com, they agreed to the things I asked and I accept that the matter has been resolved
The NAPW is lying about their action. I always check the log of missed calls and my spam e-mailsThey managed to reach me by phone when trying to sell me something - it's not my phone All they had to do was reply to any of three e-mails, and the matter would have been resolvedConsidering that I since found the same unethical behavior noted multiple times online, I know they are spinning their response in an effort to look good Meanwhile, unsuspecting people are buying the honor of being "Woman of the Year", and that is very, very sad
Thank you for your help in resolving this
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
They lied about trying to reach meI contacted them this month and during that conversation they wanted to reduce the charge to $and I refusedI don't use their services and did not authorize the recent chargesFurthermore, the first time this organization reached out to me (in 2014), I authorized a $charge one time; they charged $seven days later and again this month - that's $of unauthorized charges for absolutely nothing resulting in fraudulent business practicesThis complaint needs to be elevated to egregious

Revdex.com:
At this time, I have not been contacted by National Association of Professional Women regarding complaint ID ***I have contacted my credit card to try to resolve, but NAPW will not refund the entire $dues they
automatically charged my cardThey gave a partial $refund, which brings it to same amount as the last year when I willingly signed upBut they have not refunded the entire amount, which is what I requested, right after the automatic credit card charges were madeI am unable to locate anywhere on their site how to change or remove a credit card from file or how to opt outI feel this is by their intentional design

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I was not accepting any membership. I expected a free trial which I never received. I was charged way too much money -- then additional charges of $for absolutely nothing. I did not fill in a profile -- I did not accept this membership -- and it was never made clear that anything was non-refundable. If it were I would have declined immediately
I not only had called in good faith only days after this initial charging call -- but have not opened one single email nor filled out any profiles. I am systematically deleting any emails that come from NAPW without opening them. Also, I have the original membership pack -- unopened! And I will return it to the sender unopened.
I am still expecting the correct fair business response of a full refund. Anything less is simply not ethical or a good business practice -- and I'm afraid I cannot support that - nor can I ever recommend this organization to anyoneThank you

*** *** received numerous
calls because she submitted more than one application for membership While we do employ processes to screen out
duplicate applications, it does not catch every one. We are sorry that *** *** felt hounded,
but when women submit
applications to join our organization, we do our best to
reach out to them for the initial interview.
So, while one of her applications was closed, the other remained active
and open and therefore our membership coordinators still tried to contact her
We have removed all of the
applications from active status and she will not be contacted again

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I have not used, nor plan on using NAPW services as I was immediately unsatisfied with what was offered after signing upHaving cancelled within a few weeks of joining, I was surprised to find out earlier this month that I had still been charged the past years
I had stopped receiving e-mails and assumed this was due to the fact that I was no longer a memberFurthermore, I left my job and the e-mail alias being used as of April so NAPW was likely receiving notifications that I was no longer at that e-mail, or bounce backs, if they in fact were still sending me e-mails.It is unfortunate that my cancellation is not being honored and my funds reimbursed I also find it incredibly shady that my last call with NAPW resulted in a negotiation of sorts on the most recent yearly charge of $789, continuously making offers of a reduced amount, in the hopes that I would cave and agree to a lesser chargeI did not agree, but the reduced amount was still chargedI would like to pay nothing, as I was unaware I was still a member!
