Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.I have to add the disappointment with companies that slide renewals in and do not allow a full refund Magazines are notorious for this; however they will refund It is sad that as this group claims to be professional, but follows business ethics of companies that are eager for the money and do not truly care for the customer I will continue to dis-encourage anyone from joining such an unprofessional organization.Thank you
Sincerely,
*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The response from NAPW is exactly what I would expect from an organization whose priority mission is to get money from women for various titles and awards. I don't speak for those who may be using your service. To each his own - I speak to my experience, which based on the interactions and the solicitation for money alone is offensive.
I acknowledged that the money being charged was nonrefundable. And in a perfect world that would be fine but based on what I believe to be unethical sales tactics I am asking for an exception. Honestly, you didn't spend $900+ dollars establishing an account for me.
I still request a partial refund - surely you have a satisfaction guarantee of some sort. I work for an organization that also has a no refund policy but if someone is so truly dissatisfied with a service, exceptions are made. You are capable of this exception as well. In addition, I wish for my account to be inactivated and never contacted independently from the Revdex.com response system.
As for the recordings - I would like to hear them. I don't recall the lady soliciting me for more money the second time around notifying me that our conversation was being recorded. and I stand by my allegation that she told me not to get in "a tizzy". Because my response to her was that I'm not in a tizzy, I just don't plan to spend anymore money with you. I would love to hear the recording in it's entirety to include the portion where I was notified that I was being recorded. You should be able to send these to me electronically.
It is clear to me after googling your organization that there are numerous complaints and they all seem to be similar in nature. My experience is not a coincidence

We apologize to *** *** for this incidentUpon further investigation, we discovered that her membership renewal had indeed been authorized at the time of her enrollmentHowever, when she upgraded to a VIP membership, the renewal rate was changedSubsequently, we converted to a new system, and
that system did not reflect the correct rate for her membership renewalWe have refunded her fee for this year - this should post to her account within two to ten business days, depending on the policies of her card issuer We have also extended her membership through August 2018, when it is set to expiredWe do hope that she chooses to participate in membership - we have added many new features and benefits since her initial enrollmentWe invite her to contact us at ###-###-#### to set up an appointment to review these resources

This organization is a fraud There were allegedly local chapters where I could meet and associate with other professional women No one ever met There was no leadership They had no members I doubt they existed It is very expense and YOU DO NOT get what you paid for

The balance of the renewal fee was refundedTransaction #***

NAPW has confirmed that this member was not charged the renewal fee of which she complained I have spoken with the Customer Service manager, and she has pulled the recording, for retraining with the agent at issue. As a result of this and a few other similar complaints, NAPW is changing its
renewal notice policy The company is changing the language in its renewal emails, adding additional renewal emails, and working on a technology fix that will issue renewal reminders via both its messaging feature on its website and through SMS messaging I anticipate significant development time, but now that this has been brought to the company's attention it is in the development queue.I trust this matter is now closed If this member has any questions or remaining issues, they are welcome to contact me anytime at ***.CHRIS W*** | EVP & SecretaryProfessional Diversity Network, Inc.New York - Chicago* * ***

We have reached out to *** ***, taking the opportunity to address her specific concernsWe have issued a refund for part of her membership fee and have reviewed her benefits and resources
She should see those credits post to her account within the week, depending on the policies
of her credit card issuer

At this time, I have been contacted directly by National Association of Professional Women regarding complaint ID ***,
however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I contacted the NAPW about this. The problem was resolved but not to my satisfaction. I only received a partial credit instead of the full credit that I requested. According to the NAPW the reason I did not receive full credit, even though I contacted them the same day they requested payment on my credit card, was because they said they had already paid some benefits on my behalf but they could not tell me who the benefits were paid to, what the benefit was for or the amount to whomever they paid, to benefit me. I did not request them to pay for any benefits since I don't know what they are and I have never attended any functions. This organization charges $and I have yet to understand the purpose of these charges especially since, if I ever attended any of there functions, I would have to pay for the functions in order to attend them. I never requested to attend any of this organizations functions. I have even changed my credit card number, in the past, in order for them to stop charging my credit card but they still continue to charge me. They are supposed to not charge me anymore according to the woman I spoke to on February *, 2014. Apparently alot of businesses are not happy with this organization according to the Revdex.com website. There are numerous complaints. I will see if I receive a credit, when my credit card statement arrives.

Attached are the recordingPlease reviewThe email was delivered to you - you chose to ignore itPlease be aware that the information which we have provided clearly demonstrates that we followed every reasonable step to process your renewalAgain, you had a full year to contact us to change the status of your membership, and had you done so, a full refund would be issued immediatelyAs explained in our initial response - our company has criteria to meet in order to issue full refundsWe regret that you are not happy with this result, but your request does not meet those criteria

We have investigated the claims made in this complaint. All of our new memberships are set up to automaticallyrenew unless the member requests otherwiseThis is explained during theinitial enrollment interview and on our website. *** ***’s file did not indicate that sheasked
to have the automatic renewal disabledAs she did not contact us before herrenewal was scheduled it was processed. The postcard to which she refers was sent for deliveryduring the first week of June, giving *** *** plenty of time to contact us toremind us that she did not wish to renewThe only “advertisement” on it was anannouncement about an event we were havingAs we must pay for the annual feesprovided by our outside partners, which are not refundable to us once weprocess the renewal and initiate and order to continue those services, we doask our members to have the courtesy of notifying us that they do not want torenew BEFORE the actual renewal process takes place. Our policy is to issue refunds only to thosemembers who did request cancellation before the renewal takes place, however,if a member calls us after the renewal is processed, we do refund the portionof the fee which has not been paid out to our partners on behalf of the member. It is immaterial how many days havepassed since the renewal processed because those fees are automaticallyforwarded as part of the processThis is what was done for *** ***. It is a shame that*** *** did not use her membership as she did make a substantial investment init The representative with whom shespoke spent time going over all of those benefits and made suggestionsregarding the resources which would be most useful to herIn reviewing thatconversation as part of our investigation, *** *** seemed satisfied and willingto use her membership, which is why we are rather surprised and dismayed thatshe saw fit to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.We have issued the balance of her fee, however, because wedo not have access to the recording of the initial enrollment interview andthis cannot confirm that *** *** was advised of and agreed to the automaticrenewal of her membershipIn this situation, we do always give the member thebenefit of the doubt
