manufacture. The date of manufacture information is printed on the tag inside the shoe. In review of the 'Chat' with Nike, the number for Nike Corporate was provided as option to receive assistance with a claim if the original place of purchase could not help.  If you were not able to receive return assistance from the place of purchase, Nike offers consumer the option of receiving assistance through our claims inspection process.  You can view the Terms and Conditions online at www.Nikeclaims.com.  You stated your product may be outside the timeframe to receive an inspection. However, without reviewing the style number and date of manufacture, its difficult to determine if you actually are outside Nike's claim policy guidelines of 2 years from the manufacture date.  As stated in Nike's Terms and Conditions, product that is received for a claims inspection and outside the 2 year date of manufacture, will be returned.  If you would like to provide the information from your shoes, you can reply to the complaint for a review.  If the shoes can be considered for an inspection, I will provide a free shipping label as a one-time courtesy.  Please note, product must first be acceptable for inspection and deemed to be flawed to receive credit. Sincerely,KellyNike

findings that this is a 'fit' issue are founded. As the manufacturer of the product our claims process will cover any material or workmanship flaws with our products. In a situation such as this you need to work with the retailer you purchased them from. That being said, we value you as our consumer and would like to help your son find a different cleat that will work better for him. We emailed a courtesy Nike gift card to you at [redacted]@kc.rr.com. You will receive it in the next 24 hours if you don't have it already. You can use the gift card to purchase a different model online at Nike.com. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I spent 120.00 on a new pair shoes.15% off does not even begin to cover the replacement cost.If this is the way the company stands behind their products which were obviousely defective I do not want to even buy another pair.I feel I should br offered a new pair.Since the company has plans to make this right I will just purchase a different brand all together. I have a 13 year old who collects the Lebrons and has alot of pairs of them.I will also be stopping those purchases as well.  A company as large as Nike can afford to compensate a good customer for a defective product and never even miss the money.Instead they  choose to offer me a paltry 15% off.This is unacceptatable and I am willing to just switch to [redacted] for further clothing and shoe purchases.I hope is worth losing a customer who spends ALOT of money on Nike products to avoid replacing a defective producg.So I do not want 15 % off and I will avoid purchasesing anything Nike from now on.My daughter also loves [redacted] so between that and [redacted] we will not need Nike products.I know losing 1 customer will not even lut a dent in Nike sales but it will make me feel better to not by from this brand.Sincerely,

the order due to the lack of inventory at fulfillment. A charge for the item was not processed as Nike.com does not bill the form of payment used until the item has shipped.
 
Please know our system researches all available inventory to fulfill an order before a cancellation is processed. While I understand this item was intended as gift and needed by 11/29, given the popularity of products on our site and any item offered on'clearance', certain products, styles and sizes sell out.

Nike stands behind product for flaws in material and workmanship.  Our experienced inspectors carefully evaluate each product for manufacturing or material flaws.  An additional review was provided for the claimed footwear through the photos and inspector notes and after review, we agree with the original decision determined by the inspectors.  The footwear issue did not qualify as a material or manufacturing flaw and did not meet our criteria for credit. 
Additionally, below are the options provided to consumers should their product be denied.  These selections are agreed upon when submitting the claim at Nikeclaims.com and a claim number provided.  Consumers select the radio button next to their preferred option.  Nike does not offer any other options for denied claimed product than those that are listed on the site.  We apologize for any confusion.

We're sorry to hear that when you purchased the LEBRON XII BHM (GS) style #726217-001 from the retailer there were 2 left shoes.  I can understand your frustration for you and your son having not noticed...

this at the time of purchase. 
Due to your concern, we've reviewed the previous contacts and inspector notes regarding your claim [redacted] and as mentioned to you, Nike does not consider this issue a material or manufacturing flaw.  Size and fit issues are not considered for an inspection.
Nike products are sent to the retail store for distribution and retail sale.  When a product is purchased, the retailer typically checks to ensure the footwear is correctly paired.    Often times a customer can try on one size and inadvertently return a shoe to the wrong box, and if not checked this can potentially result in the mismatched size for another consumer.   Therefore, these types of issues are best handled through the original place of purchase. 
Since it was suggested to send the product for a claim inspection and denied for the above mentioned reasons, I'm offering to send a courtesy Nike Gift Card for $15.00 to cover the cost of the shipment for the inspection.  If you would like to receive the Nike Gift card, please reply to the Better Business Complaint with your preference of shipping.  I can send to your physical address or email address we have on file.

In regard to a refund for the cancelled order #[redacted], a payment was not processed. Nike.com does not charge/bill payment(s) until the item(s) ship from our warehouse. Since the item was cancelled the shipment did not occur and no payment was processed. A full reversal of the authorization was processed when the order cancelled. Typically, the authorization holds drop off your account after 48-72 hours. This is an ongoing problem they have done the same thing for order [redacted] and all they can do is cancel my order and give me a promotional code, while the code is an ok gesture it doesn't replace the merchandise I hope to receive when I place an order. So if Nike could get an accurate inventory, or at least help the customers by finding the merchandise in a store and shipping from a store to the customer it would greatly improve their customer relations.Sincerely,[redacted]
