I am rejecting this response because:Please note that my complaint has nothing to dowith the size and fitness of the shoes. Instead, it is regardingthe quality of the Nike shoes (bad design and quality).I already tried to return the shoes back to Nike store, but they declined to take the shoes back. That's why I am escalating this issue to Nike Corporate for a resolution (return or exchange).

Since the product is sold out a full refund was processed. A credit of $228.80 was issued to the original form of payment. Credit card refunds are sent immediately to your credit card company. Depending on your billing cycle, the credit should show up on your next statement. However, it may take up to two billing statements.
 
Keep in mind, that in the event that you locate the package, or it is determined that it was successfully delivered we would need to work out arrangements with you to either return the additional item(s) received or re-bill you for the item(s).

Nike's Elite Service Leads on 1/5/18 who has offered to assist with a second inspection of your claimed footwear.  Per your email to her you accepted to receive the assistance.  However, to date, she has not received the shoes to her location at Nike World Headquarters.  Below is the email and the free shipping label (attached) provided for sending the shoes directly to her attention.  Product must be returned to Nike and reviewed for compensation to be considered.  Hi [redacted]You can use the attached return label to send your product in. Whenever a sneaker came in that was defective it was taken with no hesitation...you guys didnt even look at it .Just because it was manufactured 4 years ago...So no im not satisfied but thank you for coupon.

normal occurrence with shoes that havebeen constructed of Solid rubber and/or polyurethane materials.  When exposed to certain atmospheric elements,chemicals, and/or UV light discoloration can be visible overtime.  Additionally, the age of shoe can also befactor in the discoloration of the outsole. That being said, I would like you to know that Nike stands behind its products formaterial or manufacturing flaws.  We have made arrangements with our authorized retail accounts to accept returns forproducts with material or workmanship flaws. previous Better Business complaint to Nike was indeed reviewed, #Revdex.com Complaint Case# [redacted].  In the reply, information was provided regarding Nike's Return Guidelines and the option we offer for assistance.  In review of the contact history on file, it does not appear that a Nike claim was filed.
As mentioned, Nike's claim inspection is in place to offer consumers assistance when the retailer cannot assist due to their own in-store policy or if for any reason consumers are unable to return to the original retailer.  We are a backup to the retailer and we are glad to assist you with your son's shoes through the claim inspection process.
Nike product must be received within the 2 years date of manufacture and additionally, product is required to be physically examined by Inspectors to determine if a material or manufacturing flaw is present.  If credit is issued a Product Voucher in the full MSRP of the product is issued.  Product Vouchers can be redeemed online.

date of manufacture. This is not considered 2 year warranty instead it is a claim inspection service offered to consumers allowing product deemed flawed to be sent to Nike for an inspection if the date of manufacture is within the two year timeframe. (See Nikeclaims.com for the return guidelines and Terms & Conditions)
 
Due to your concern of the claim denial, the inspector notes and photos of the product were reviewed to insure the accuracy of the inspection decision.
 
Upon our review of the photos, it appears the outsoles were completely worn to the Air-Sole unit and therefore we agree with the original inspection decision. The issue is not considered a material or manufacturing flaw rather the footwear outsoles were extremely worn. To receive credit, product must show evidence of a flaw in the material or manufacturing.
 
In regard to the shoes being recycled, this is an option selected at the time the claims is submitted. If the claim is denied, the consumers only options is to either have the product returned or participate in Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe recycle program.
 
Below is a 10% promo code as a courtesy for your patronage. The promo code can be used toward a future order at Nike.com.
