I have spoken with the manager of Republic Services at the McDonough location to inform her, the trash container at my residence has been removed.

Error was made in Customer Resource Center and back door request was not cleared for approval by a local supervisor. A supervisor will contact the customer and check the site for safety approval. Customer will be issued a one month credit for the services not rendered.

We sincerely apologize for the issues experienced by Mr. [redacted]. We have since emptied his container and issued a one-time credit of $9.95 to address his complaint. He has since contacted our Customer Service Representative to thank her for the credit and follow up. Thank you,Monica...

The original two phone calls I had been informed of the $60.00 for three months.  Asked regarding fuel/additional fees and was informed that the $60.00 + $15.00 for the container was "including everything".  You are correct in the fact that you do not have the original calls, plural, nor the desk conversation to access.  Your own response admit a lie in the data given!  I also made it very clear that I wanted a three month service.  You had no right, none, to assume a prorate of services!  They were not explained nor wAs I informed of them, not even on my original receipt.  Fraud again!  My original complaint stated you were not to contact me.  Harassment!  The service is paid IN FULL, until 06/30/2016.  The container WILL BE PICKED UP BY THAT DATE.  If not your company can and will be charged storage fees, as permitted by Michigan law.  Also, if charged less per month than initially informed, $15.00; then how is a single month plus non-informed fees of $14.85 equal $89.00 and change.  Your bogus math is wrong!  Your company commits fraudulent charges and generates bills, literally 2 days after initial start of service.  This proves "intent to defraud".  I do not do business with company's that have zero moral fiber, nor do I appreciate be lied to!  When I went to pay the balance, your people couldn't even make eye contact!  Replublic should be ashamed of the fraud they commit!As for any further comments, keep them to yourselves!  You've lied enough.  ANY FURTHER ATTEMPT TO CONTACT ME REGARDING THIS MATTER WILL RESULT IN LAWFUL ACTIONS FOR YOUR PROVEN FRAUD; NOT JUST MINE, BUT OTHERS I'VE UNCOVERED SINCE, AND HARASSMENT. I requested a three month service.  Was told three times it would be $75.00 with container.  Was lied to.  I have the phone calls, voicemails, and invoices to prove it!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  However, I still wish to make known to the business that when they bought out the prior waste disposal service ([redacted]) they did not inform me about this fee (I have a copy of that original letter) and I have seen numerous reports from people in the local community of the same thing happening to them.  From the business's perspective it may seem like it's OK to ask for this fee and make people argue for a while with a Republic representative until the representative eventually waives the fee, but a business operating in a small community like this will likely not prosper if it acts in this way.  Perhaps the business could identify which customers were converted from [redacted] and make a note on the accounts so they are not charged to begin with.  At any rate, there must be a better way than to charge people an erroneous fee (that they just might pay). A refund was done on 10/18/16 in the amount of 79.30. I am having this amount researched to find out if the check has been cut and if it has been mailed out to the customer. As soon as I get an answer from our Accounting department, I will contact the customer myself and inform him that the check has been mailed out.

I spoke to Ms. [redacted] and explained the auto payment rule as well as our collection process. She is now aware of our processes and guidelines and will make sure to watch her billing statements in the future. Due to her history with Republic Services I agreed to waive all administrative fees which will...

Called customer and apologized for service issues, and assured him I had cleared all charges from his account.

I had the supervisor of this route/area contact the customer today.  He also contacted his driver to make him aware of the service issue so it doesn't happen again.  The stop was serviced today and will be monitored by my supervisor over the next couple weeks to ensure consistent service...

We have already refunded this customer twice and for some reason he has not received the checks.  We have cut a 3rd refund check and we are having it sent to our office.  We will then fedex it to the customer so we can track it.

Based on the on-scene investigation done, it was determined the line was lower than required by code. Wires sag over time or due to weather conditions. The type of truck used to service the location does not have equipment that extends above the truck, so the only way the truck could make contact with the wire is if it was low. The on-scene investigator reported that the tenant in the residence affected told him she saw the line snagged on the truck.If the driver would have snagged the wires while dumping a container, Republic would have taken responsibility. In this case, the line owner, [redacted], is responsible for their line maintenance. CCMSI does not have a recording of conversations with Mr. [redacted] and are not required to do so by law. Therefore we cannot comment on whether the CCMSI representative, Nancy D[redacted], was rude or not. The CCMSI file reflects the tenant told Nancy D[redacted] that she saw the line snagged on the truck, not any equipment extending from the truck. There was no recording of this conversation, so we cannot verify the allegation by Mr. [redacted]. CCMSI had contact with Mr. [redacted] in January 2016. He advised he no longer wished to communicate with CCMSI and that [redacted] and his insurance company took care of his damages. CCMSI terminated contact with Mr. [redacted].
