department contacted the complainant on October 10, to address her concerns, and we have reached a satisfactory resolutionSincerely, Underwriting Department State Farm Insurance Companies
I am rejecting this response because: As stated in my previous correspondence, my payment of $was sent to State Farm twice. Once for the original second half payment, and again for the second payment that I submitted. After sending this payment, and it being processed by my bank, State Farm send me an overpayment for the same amount. In spite of explaining the specifics to my agent and State Farm's customer service about the overpayment check sent to me and why I felt in was an error, I was advised to hold onto the check. Then was subsequently told to cash the check after a little over month. Then, as soon as I cash the check State Farm advises me that I now owe them for the overpayment check they told me to cash.In the process of disputing how this has been handled by State Farm, they are now taking the position that I have not fulfilled my obligation required to keep my policy in force and require me to send them a 3rd payment by January 20th, or my policy will be cancelled. My agent's now explanation states he was not aware of the stop payment on the original second half payment or he would have had me bring the overpayment check to his office I initiated all conversations with State Farm about the overpayment check up until December 15th, which is when I finally took the direction given since receiving the check at the beginning of October. Other than apologizing for "my experience", State Farm has taken no ownership in causing this error. They are placing the blame on me "not fully communicating", which is totally false, or me presenting them with an insufficient funds check, which is also totally and placing me in possible default of my auto insurance coverage.I have advised my agent that this error is a result of he, and State Farm, not listening to me as a customer and instead only listening to (looking at) their computers. If I had any intension of putting myself in this fiasco through actions of my own I would have simply cashed the check when it first arrived. I initiated all contact with State Farm regarding their error and fully explained my reasoning for the error. I was advised by my bank that my second check for $cleared by bank October 2nd. So in inquiring about the overpayment check from then up until December 15th when I finally cashed it, why wouldn't I have been advised that the check should be handed over to State Farm?As it stands now, per the notification I received from State Farm, I have sent check #for $to State Farm in order to keep my insurance current. With that said, I dispute the fact that I've had to make payments to State Farm for the same second half insurance payment. of which was a stop payment initiated by myself based on the fact that State Farm misplaced it, but somehow found it later. I have advised my agent that I will be moving on from utilizing State Farm as my insurance carrier in the future as this matter has soured my desire and confidence in State Farm. This error has been attributed to, by State Farm, my miscommunication, error, and most importantly my insurance coverage. At no point is State Farm taking ownership of the mishandling of this matter, but instead apologize for my "experience" This is not sound business practice, which is why I want to ensure this is noted with the Revdex.com, in the event other State Farm customers experience matters like this, or any other matter that is not customer centric

I am rejecting this response because:
Statefarm sent me a letter confirming their decision to terminate my policyLike I stated in my original complaint, I'm aware that StateFarm is well within their rights to cancel my policy for whatever silly reason they come with but I maintain my point that it is wrong to cancel a policy on someone who otherwise has a clean driving record and high credit score simply because a minor accident happened early into the policyThe gauge of my risk as a client should be based on my entire history, not just one accident that cost the company only $
