Our office completed a request to start an auto policy for Ms*** on 1/31/18. That request was completed and the policy added to a monthly account for Ms*** on that day. The client did not come into the office or call to pay for the policy until 2/2/18. Due to the fact that
Ms*** didn’t pay for the policy until 2/2/18, the application should have been changed to the date of 2/2/18. This was an oversight by our office before submitting the application. Due to this, the insured was being billed for the month of January. After a conversation with Ms*** and another office employee involved, we have submitted the request to change the effective date of Ms*** policy. This will in turn correct the billing. The change is being handled by our Complex Department at corporate headquarters and they will submitted the billing adjustment to our billing department *** *** *** Woody Derickson State Farm (618)632-office (618)632-fax ***@woodyderickson.net

They state a "satisfactory decision was made", however, it was not satisfactoryAs of today the only contact I have had from State Farm is receipt of a letter dropping my policy and a phone call saying they can do that if they wantEvery attempt I made at getting it resolved yielded the same responseFrom my agent, "I didn't do itYou'll need to call customer service at the number." From customer service, "We can do that if we want." State Farm attempted to force me to lie and add someone to my policy that did NOT live with me and was pointless to addThey demanded I prove this person did not live in my home, regardless of how many times I explained to them that I cannot prove someone doesn't live in my homeThey demanded utility bills in this person's nameI explained that it was not possible for me to get these itemsI provided the address I had for this person along with a phone number to reach her atState Farm refused to contact her to obtain this information. The last conversation I had with State Farm, they changed their story and told me they had contacted this person, but in multiple previous conversations I was told they would not contact herI was a loyal customer that paid my bill on time for over yearsState Farm refused to reinstate my policy until the last conversation when I had already retained another insurance companyThe last representative I spoke with told me multiple lies, including what department she works inThis representative claimed I had "plenty of time" to find another insurance companyWhen I explained that I did not have "plenty of time" and asked her how I had time when I was given two weeks, she informed me that the time started on the day they wrote the letterThe last time I checked anything mailed via USPS does not instantaneously arriveI informed her of this, mailing time does not count, she held fast that it does count. I was told (by two different people) that I would receive a reimbursement equal to the amount of the last paid month, but have yet to receive thatIf you are consider allowing someone that is not on your policy to drive your vehicle, you better notOtherwise, State Farm will do the same to youIf you are with State Farm, cancel your policyThey do not follow their guidelines, do not pay claims, find loopholes, will not send reimbursements (even when they say they will) and will terminate your policy without regard to time or inconvenience to youI think this insurance company needs to be closed, permanently

I am rejecting this response because:
They have not indicated that they will reprimand the insurance agency involved. Mailings should contain a proper return address on the envelope stating "State Farm Insurance",NOT JUST AN INDIVIDUALS NAME! This is a corporate issue violating privacy rights and TOTALLY DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. State Farm needs to stop their deceptive advertising practices
I am rejecting this response because:
I'm not sure how State Farm can say a satisfactory agreement has been reached when I have had no communication with them. I did receive a letter from State Farm within the last days that stating that they did not receive a cancellation notice from the MD office until June 6th. I received two separate letters - one for my homeowners and one for my auto. The letter from my auto inssaid it was not cancelled until June 6th and the one from the homeowners stated June 1st. However, I should not be penalized because the office that handled my insurance did not follow through as they should have. Phone records prove that I contacted State Farm on May 2, at 6:PM. This was a minute call in which I requested all of my insurance policies with State Farm to be cancelledThe male that I spoke to tried to get me to stay with State Farm but I informed him that I had already switched my insurance to another company. I requested a cancellation date of 4/which is the date that the new insurance took effect. On May I received an email from State Farm stating that my insurance payment was past due. My insurance payment was automatically deducted from my bank account and I did not prevent State Farm from taking the paymentSo State Farm did not try to withdraw the payment from my bank. On May 16th phone records prove that I again contacted State Farm because of the 5/email to make sure that my insurance was cancelled as requestedI was assured that it would beI also requested a refund of insurance that was prepaid. On June 6th I received another email from State Farm stating that my insurance was going to be cancelled due to nonpayment. At this time I am very irritated and phone records prove that I contacted them again on 6/from my cell phone at 11:am This call was minlong. I complained that my insurance should have been cancelled effective 4/and I have called several times however I keep receiving these emails and I haven't received the refund. I was again assured that this would be taken care of. She also stated that her files indicated that I have made the previous calls and everything would be cleared up. She state that she was the person that needed this information and now that she has it it would be taken care of. Yet again on 7/I received another email from State Farm stating that my payment was past due. Another phone call to them on 7/at 3:pm which lasted min. At this point I am very irrate and go through the whole story again. Again I'm assured that this will be taken care of. That was the last correspondence with them. Since I haven't received the refund for my insurance that was paid on 10/I contacted the MD office again through email requesting the refund. No response. I contacted my bank and asked why the payment for May was never made to State Farm. The response from M & T was "My review noted a transaction from this merchant was not attemped in May 2017. Further review noted the most recent transaction for State Farm occurred on April 5, for $232.24.I have all phone records which prove the calls were made. In addition, I have a statement from the bank which states the transaction for May was never attempted by State Farm. I have no problem providing these documents upon request. I believe this proves that my insurance was cancelled by me on May 2nd and as per State Farm's policy it shoud be cancelled effective 4/and all premiums paid for past that date need to be refunded
