I am rejecting this response because:
They corporate office has contacted me, however they told me they are NOT responsible for the actions of thier agent. I was told the agent works independently from State Farm. That's right so my agent whom has yet to contact me or you guys. Corporate stood by the fact that they are not taking responsibility for their own agents bad business practices. They are only focused on covering their own tracks. As morally they know I am right in this instance they refused to do right by me and try to make things right. Therefore that's why they are trying to backtrack and now asking me for information from over a year ago. My car was working perfectly fine before the accident, and since then has not worked. I still told them to meet me half way and just pay for half the fees I am owed, please keep in mind the fees weee assessed to me because my agent refused to answer any of my emails or calls and I was hit with astronomical late fees. So I stewart of meeting me half way and we both pay $900, I told them spurt is the only option. Which still doesn't make sense because that will only cost them more as I have the proof to show that they were in the wrong in regards to how they handled the accident last year, as well as the the agent as I have proof to state all of my claims.

I am rejecting this response because:The reasoning for their rejection was that I use the money given to repair the floor to fix the roof. However, the rational in this matter was to fix the problem first in order to prevent further damage. and, I did. My second loss claim was for them to come see the sliding door to see if I was eligible to have it fixed. They decline it and said it was not covered by the insurance. They assumed I was making another claim for the floor which I never did. The explanation given to me by the underwriter did not actally resolved anything. She just repeated to me the same thing I informed the adjustor about reparing the roof before fixing the floor. Part of the floor was already fix. I want them to stop advertising on tv that home owners are readily protected and have their backs, which is a lie.. Especially when they submit claims that are readily rejected and policies cancel because of their selective practice of whom can be covered or who cannot. Which is clearly descrimation. Am no longer want anything to do with this Insurance Company. Just have them to stop falsely advertising.

sharing M[redacted]’s concerns. I asked Team Manager [redacted] to review and he provided the following information regarding the claim. Mr. [redacted] spoke with M[redacted] on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. M[redacted] was concerned with our request to obtain her social security number before settling her bodily injury claim and wanted to know why State Farm would need her social security number for a bodily injury claim. Mr. [redacted] explained Section 111 of the Medicare and SCHIP Extension Act (MMSEA) of 2007 created additional notice requirements under the Medicare Secondary Payor (MSP) provisions of 42 U.S.C.S. The act requires an insurer to: • Determine whether a person making a claim is entitled to Medicare benefits on any basis. • Submit information about the entitled person to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). One method for us to determine an individual’s Medicare entitlement is through a query, called a “Ping”. The Ping compares, information submitted to the Social Security Administration database to identify whether an injured person is entitled to Medicare benefits. The Ping requires five data elements for the injured person: • Social Security Number (SSN) • First Name • Last Name • Date of Birth (DOB) • Gender Mr. [redacted] ensured M[redacted] that State Farm makes every reasonable attempt to protect her personal information. The claim specialist asking for her social security number only did so to fulfill our obligations to the Medicare and SCHIP Extension Act. On January 11, 2018, the claim specialist was able to obtain M[redacted]’s Social Security Number through an approved vendor which allowed us to issue her settlement draft that same day. For this Statefarm rep to suggest otherwise is a flat out lie!The issue of increase despite what was quoted remains and was never explained. the 3 months up front yet not applied was not addressed to date.
