[redacted].  We have found a Labor Reimbursement claim that was on going under the name of [redacted] for the same order # [redacted]. We show what the original install, but no estimate or new invoice showing an issue is taking place currently. Please be aware that the warranty for this Alternator is Limited Lifetime and that no Labor Reimbursement is offered under this. We have included a link below as well as an excerpt showing this information. If Ms. [redacted] can submit an invoice or estimate showing that the Alternator was defective then we would be willing to offer a $65 refund on the original online order which is half of the Alternator’s cost as a one time courtesy. this caused our customer. The order that was provided would qualify for a $15 rebate in the form of gift card. This would be due to the rebate being $30 maximum, but only $15 per axle (set of brakes and two rotors) and rebates are gift cards unless otherwise stated. I was unable to locate any information provided to us by the customer about this rebate, but the order did qualify during the time it was created for a rebate. Some rebates are only available to be done online which would be at the following web address [redacted] I will be happy to create a gift card request and have a $15 gift card mailed out to the customer. It should ship out on 12/9/2016 and we would advise 7-10 business days via mail. I have also attached a picture of the rebate (from our ad flyer) this purchase qualified for in case there any questions. Mr. [redacted]. It turns out there was a misunderstanding between the Team Member who assisted Mr. [redacted] when he came to pick up the part. The part was in fact at the store then and still was today, 7/26/2016, during my conversation with District Manager [redacted]. DM [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] spoke about the issue at length and DM [redacted] apologized for the issue and advised he would make sure a problem of this nature does not take place again. We were informed that when the conversation ended that Mr. [redacted] was happy due to him having already bought a part elsewhere. We will consider the issue resolved unless Mr. [redacted] could use further assistance regarding this matter. [redacted]  I want to state very clearly that [redacted] NEVER asked me to submit any documents to him. It seems like the people working at this store have the tendency to not tell the truth. I will mail the requested information to [redacted] at the store within a couple of days. It is important to notice that I don't have any invoices because from the beginning [redacted] said that he would provide the radiator and he only asked me to give the mechanic's fee for replacing the radiator. He didn't ask for any paperwork for this either.

I received response from Advance Auto and completely disagree with their response.1. I have never conducted myself in hostile manner towards any AA member, neither I have screamed, cursed and posed any safety risk.If there are any video recordings available, I'd like them to be reviewed and determined if any of my actions were hostile. Moreover, I do not believe I even moved an inch while speaking to manager, who if fact, was very aggressive towards me, and I was scared of his actions.Also, if there is a video, a specialist could be used to read my lips in order to determine if I have used any profanity. However, I know that AA will never do that, due to the fact, that I have never used profanity or any abusive language.Another concern that if, I in fact, posed safety threat to people in the store, why at no point police was called and private criminal complaint was not filed with PD ? May be they did not want to actually get in trouble by conducting themselves in hostile manner towards me.2. Part was covered my lifetime warranty and it failed within warranty period due to being defective.3. AA did discriminate me in deliberate way, as their attitude towards Hispanic customers was totally different then of one towards me. AA members were very pleasing, smiling and helpful to Hispanic customers that were there during my visit, and now they are doing everything possible to "victimize a victim" and make me look as I was the one discriminating others.Thank you.

We have located the Proof of purchase for Ms. [redacted]’s radiator. Please be advised that all warranty is tied directly to a receipt. We are willing to attempt to work with another nearby store location if Ms. [redacted] is willing, but please be advised that if the part is found to have been modified then the warranty is void. Please also be advised there has been no accidental purge of information. Advance Auto Parts maintains records as a courtesy for customers for two years and then has them sent to our Financial Team. Receipts can then be requested if needed for any reason. If Ms. [redacted] is willing to work with another store location then she may request whichever Advance Auto Parts nearby she’d like or we will locate on for her. We request the receipt to be provided and be advised which store the attempt to exchange the part took place at. We then would be happy to try and work out an exchange or refund. If the a refund is needed due to a new purchase then we would also require the new receipt of purchase as well. We have researched the claim with our Commercial Labor Reimbursement
Team and have confirmed that the purchase of the engine was made by [redacted]
[redacted].  Labor reimbursement is always based on manufacturer’s inspection,
as explained in our warranty document.  The
claim was approved by the manufacturer.  The labor rate is $50 per hour,
up to a $600 maximum.  Based on the information above, we are mailing a
$370 check to our [redacted] store.  We will have a member of our
management team call Mr. [redacted] once it arrives.
