I also called ***, the *** *** of Okcupid Customer Service took my information, including the specific
financial transaction number of my payment, and told me that they would forward my request for a refund to Corporate at OKCupid I have never heard back from them about this issue
Since I paid for months and only was allowed to use weeks of premium service, I do not feel that OKCupid honored its contract with me The same day that my complaint with Revdex.com was sent to OKCupid, my account was closed on OKCupid

Signed up with OkCupid a few weeks ago in hopes of meeting someone special. I hit it off with a few matches this past week but, to my surprise, I became unable to log in to my account. According to the error message, OkCupid is "having technical difficulties". I could not create a new account either.

A search online returned numerous explicit complaints from previous customers who experienced the same issue. The reason for the "technical difficulties"? OkCupid flagged the users and decided to close their accounts. No explanation given, no investigation on their part into whether that customer was truly a problem, no chance for the customer to state his or her case. Nothing.

As for me, I have no clue why my account was suddenly shuttered. My profile was clean, I had polished it to a pretty impressive state---both in terms of pictures and text content---and I was thoughtful in every message that I wrote. Not that I should have to worry about whether OkCupid likes me as a person or not. Dating websites should not be in the business of judging their customers and deciding who gets to meet a match and who doesn't.

I have no intention of using OkCupid again. Ever. But I want more. I want them sued. I, as a customer, have rights. I have the right to service like every one else. I have the right to know if my account has been closed! Geez, how is this a matter of debate?!? In what world is it acceptable to close someone's account and say not a word about it?

And, lastly, I have the right to know why my account was shuttered. I want to see OkCupid exposed for its overreaching and unethical tactics. None of this has a place in today's world.
